Great Hotel with Great Staff”
I am really really happy I chose to stay at Amber Boutique Hotel Silom in Bangkok. With so many hotels to choose from in Bangkok, it can get be difficult choosing the good hotels from the bad, but Amber is definitely one of the better ones. Tucked just off a Sathorn rd on Soi 14, Amber is in the heart of Silom. Within walking distance to many restaurants and bars in the area. The rooms are very modern and beautiful decorated. I booked the deluxe corner suite and I was impressed on how nice and spacious it was. The staff at the hotel was equally impressive, always helping me out with any question or problem I had. When I go back to Bangkok in August I am going to stay at Amber Boutique again, highly recommended.

A gem in Silom Road! ”
I had a great tIme in Bangkok partly due to our great stay at this boutique hotel. It's new so our room is clean. We asked for an extra bed and stayed at the corner room. We were given a glass of welcome drink upon arrival. The reception staff was so friendly and accommodating. We didn't try the breakfast at the hotel as there're so many choices to choose from at the market nearby. Turn right and walk straight on for a few minutes and there's the market. Love the food at the market. You get fruits, freshly squeezed fruit juices, coffee, local cakes and sweet desserts, and local Thai food! They open till night! Further on is Silom Village. You can get freshly brewed coffee and toasts just outside the hotel by the main road. We will definitely come back! Thank you Amber Boutique Hotel for a wonderful stay.

always GOOD at AMBER BOUTIQUE SILOM”
this is the 3rd time my wife and i have stayed at the amber boutique silom bangrak bangkok thailand. this hotel always meets our expectations. located on a side street off silom road, it is very quiet. rooms are average to small size. comfortable queen bed. clean room. bathroom and shower are clean. refrigerator. no microwave. kettle with complimentary 2 bottles of water. tv channels limited. no hbo. wifi easily connected and fast. breakfast is limited. eggs, red sauce pasta, and ham(last day) and usually a rice dish. . o/j, fruit, cereal, good coffee, bread. breakfast is just ok. we have had better and have had plenty worse breakfasts. staff very helpful. usually someone at front desk/lobby speaks english. helped with taksi to the airport. we have paid less to stay at the amber boutique. this time close to $50/day. please note, no swimming pool and no exercise room.

Greate hotel, also with baby! ”
We've been traveling with an 8 month old infant and Amber boutique was our first stop after our long distance fly from Germany. It turned out that the hotel was a great choice: We always stay at Silom as we like the are (it's very central) but Silom Soi 14 (where the hotel is) is a great choice because it is a small and silent street but without giving you the feeling to be in an unsafe area. Staff ist friendly and our baby was always very welcome. The room itself (we had 405) is just fair: Clean and modern! Not to big but absolutely OK size and that's what you know when you are booking the room. We would stay again at Amber boutique (with and without baby)!

Little GEM”
Silom is a popular tourist area with lots to see and, like anywhere else in Bangkok, lots to eat. Just a minute walk down Soi 14 (a narrow alley available to any stroller or taxi) is a modern, clean, well kept secret: the Amber Boutique. Across from it a stylish Hostel. I had a second floor front facing room which could be bright or dark depending on the two-layers of curtain I used on the floor to ceiling windows. It was mostly quiet, even on the weekends. I extended my four days to four more after realizing I had found such a good value. Rooms are simple, feel new and very well kept. Bed is firm but not hard. Television has s decent selection and mini bar fridge can be emptied and filled with 15 or more bottles of coconut water, ice tea and pop from either of two nearby 7-11s. I recommend it.

excellent place”
The rooms at Amber Boutique Silom are beautifully decorated with large and comfortable beds, very clean and quiet. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable experience at the hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and because the hotel is 'boutique' - its size is cozy and not too corporate like so many of the hotel chains around today. My only gripe is the breakfast, which was pretty terrible - white bread and a few overcooked pieces of bacon with instant coffee. Definitely skip the breakfast and choose one of the other options nearby. But otherwise a great hotel.

Lovely & Comfy!”
Booked this hotel with agoda for Songkran holiday at Silom. Originally I booked a superior corner room but they upgraded us to deluxe corner room (modern style). There are 3 styles of rooms here - Modern, Sino-Portuguese, Moroccan. And 3 types of rooms - superior, superior corner, deluxe corner. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was big with separated bedroom and living area, walk-in closet and bathroom (no tub). Bed was very comfy that I didn't want to get up! Wi-fi is free of charge in-room (get log-in & password from the Front), so you can connect with your laptop/mobile phone. The room was clean, comfy & new. There were two televisions (living room/bed room), and a dvd player(living room). Two bottles of water supplied everyday. There were also internet corner available for free on level 2. Breakfast served here was simple but fine. Egg of the day, ham, sausage, bacon (some day), toast, muesli & cereal, yoghurt, fruit juice - these were enough for me though. The hotel is rather new (a year since opening), and located on a small alley which is Silom Soi 14 (that's between Narai hotel & Pulman hotel [former Sofitel], and just opposite Furama hotel). Art Hostel is its neighbour on that alley. *** No swimming pool & fitness center here. That's for your info. I would recommend Amber Boutique Silom 14 to tourists to wants to stay in Silom area.

Charming boutique hotel with great accommodations”
The Amber Boutique Hotel IS a Boutique Hotel in all the best sense of "Boutique". It is a small, charming, upscale and tastefully done establishment. The staff was gracious and accommodating. The location was a bit hard to find, but once I got my bearings, it was okay. For the price, it is an outstanding value. I've stayed at similar hotels are many times the price of this one in other locations. I highly recommend this hote.

Lovely Stay in the center of Bangkok”
This is my first time at Amber Boutique Hotel and it is quite a discovery in Silom, where i often stay whenever in Bangkok. Located in a quiet Soi just off the main Silom Road, getting a taxi is no problem. It is close to other bigger hotels and a branch of Super Rich money changer (with the best rates) is just a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is quite far from the BTS Chong Nonsi Station, about 10-15 minute walk, but it's a minor problem. Overall stay was very pleasant, however the WIFI had some problems with the internet service provider and beyond the hotel's control. It happens. And spare keycard was not readily available. I love the interiors and the themed rooms and were very clean and comfortable. I'd stay here again if given the chance.

Very good value and highly recommend for budget”
First time in Bangkok and really happy to stay in Amber Boutique for 8 nights which is very good value. The Hotel is not on the main street of Silom Road, a bit hard to find as addressed but is quite away from traffic. Sala Deang BTS skytrain is about 15 mins walk. Will stay there again next time.

Clean quiet room in great location”
Amber Boutique is a very clean, quiet hotel local in a very good location if you happen to need to be in the business district of Bangkok. It is a new building with only a handful of rooms. When I stayed there I felt like I was the only guest. I don't think i saw one other non hotel staff in the three days I stayed there. If you are into quiet and being left alone ...this is the place

Luxurious room at economy price”
located on silom road in the heart of bangkok. it is one of the newest, small boutique hotel in town. you can expect clean, new, modern in every details from entering the hotel till checking out. two large lcd tv, wood partitions divide the room into many functional areas. all in all, it was a superb experience at this hotel.

One of my favorites”
For the price, this is by far one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok and the one I use most regularly when I come to Bangkok (I live 2 hours away in Kanchanaburi). The rooms are clean, up to date, and comfortable. Great Wi-Fi speed. The location is good, as well. Although the hotel itself is tucked away down a small side street, it's a 35 baht taxi drive or 15 minute walk from BTS Sala Daeng. Just tell the taxi driver Silom Soi 14 and you won't have many problems. Lots of street food located on a street nearby.

Great value for the price!”
this is a great hotel. not many rooms but the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful!!! the hotel itself is very clean, and modern looking(its a year or two old). this hotel is super value for the price. i will stay here again anytime!!! the only minor drawback is thats its on a small side street that isn't so nice looking but 30 seconds walk and you are on silom rd, and 10 minutes walk you are at the skytrain. i did not eat breakfast here so can't comment on that, but not as large as a big hotel would be. i have stayed at many hotels in bangkok and around thailand, this one was among the best experiences!

One of the best value for money hotels in Bangkok ”
Really can't fault this place. Excellent breakfast included with our booking. Super modern rooms. Staff have some English and are very helpful. Down a somewhat dingy Soi (14) but very close to Silom Road. The price is good and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better hotel in central Bangkok for the price. We ate at Mama Mia's on Soi 20 every night. What a personality Mama is and the food is up there with the best we've had in Thailand and dirt cheap too although perhaps not everyone would enjoy eating on the street with cars going past.

Beautiful brand new hotel”
I cant say enough nice things about Amber Hotel. The location is centrally located in Bangkok, rooms are fancy, and hotel is nice and about a month old. Rooms were clean and inexpensive. The only negatives were that the hotel was a bit hard to find (down a small alley) and there is no view. There was no breakfast or restaurant (I think this was somewhat due to the flooding). I would totally go back again.

Silom is the great place to stay in Bangkok if you are a turist but want to escape from Khao San Road. Amber Boutique Hotel Silom has some very nice and clean rooms and is located just on Silom road. The staff during our stay almost didnt speak english and wasn't very helpful. Even though we recomend this place.
