Cute boutique hotel with with excellent staff”
A lovely boutique style hotel located right across the beach. The lobby is open and breezy and has a very attentive and friendly staff. Sam Roi Yot is not a touristy place and it was a good thing that Anchana provides a mini mart, comfy affordable restaurant and a cute little bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going there. It gave great value for money.

Great location and lovely hotel”
We had been told the Anchana was a mostly "Thai" resort - not sure what that meant - but there were visitors there from many nationalities and the food was a good mix of Asian and western. The rooms in the garden were very spacious. Problem with plumbing in one but the staff were obviously used to that and came quickly to sort it out. Very pleasant restaurant upstairs overlooking the sea - good place to read and play games as well as eat. Hotel is just across a quiet road from the beach - 4 miles long and mostly deserted. Very beautiful with a couple of islands just offshore you can visit on a boat trip.

We had a great time at Anchana Resort - we stayed in the Garden View Bungalows. The rooms were spacious and the staff and the location are the best thing about this place. It's a little run down for the price you pay, which is a shame because it looked like the pool and the common areas could be much more well maintained.

right on beach but a bit remote”
We were a team of 10 people having a conference at Dolphin Bay, but DB ran out of rooms so some of us stayed at Anchana. We also used the Anchana's conference room facility. Anchana is more pricey than DB, their decor is nicer but overall value is better at DB. For family with children DB is definitely better.

Hotel with great service and open space..”
The Villa rooms were nice and big.. The staffs were very friendly and always offered service with a smile. The restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service in the restaurant was pretty slow. There were some mosquitoes in the villa even after the hotel staff sprayed the repellent. The breakfast was not that great though choice of Thai food was wide.

Fantastic Hotel. Great Location and Price”
i would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is heading towards sam roi yod. i would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on going to pranburi as well. this hotel is located in the quieter area and is not touristy in the least. it is super clean and cute and the rooms are quite nice and bright. the staff is really friendly. this in my opinion is the best hotel out of the lot in the area. don't forget to rent a scooter and explore the nearby national park area. it is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

Lovely room, bad breakfast!”
Really large room which was incredibly comfortable. Loved the room and the gardens. The hotel had free bicycles which is a great way to see this small town. The thing that really let the hotel down was the food and also the layout of the breakfast room. It reminded me of a 1980s old people's home and was not pleasant to be in. It was cramped, smelt musty, had awful table cloths trying to make it look more refined but failing to. The food was poor and selection small.

probably i was staying during songkran holidays so the room price i got was so high comparing to the accomodation appearance. the staff service was very good. i guess it would be more silent unless it's during long vacations. by the way if you need some good restaurants you need to drive away from resort.

Thai wooden style room.”
Room was comfortable and clean.Swimming pool in front of the room looks tempting.Staffs were too young to understand how to handle the booking process. I booked through Agoda at the counter because the price in Agoda much cheaper for walk-in guest but they not do anything until someone from head office in Bangkok call to say this booking is confirmed. Weird that they can't see in computer system maybe they don't have one.

Amazing and attentive staff, so helpful and excellent english. Rooms very nice and comfy, however the pool, restuarants and bathrooms could do with an upgrade. One of the nicer hotels along the beach strip.

Okay!”
Overpriced! Food was okay. Shower head was made for midgets. The room was okay size with lovely welcome drinks. Air condition didn't work well. At night, there was a credible loud music nearby the resort until 11 pm. Breakfasts were okay with American breakfast. Pool wasn't clean and clear.

Super staff, but few understand english The villas are situated in a nice garden with lots of trees and flowers Wifi is not very good and you need to reset everyday. Big problem for us. There are mosquitos in the area and jellyfish at the beach The beach is super long (4-5h walk) We would definitely stay there again

The hotel is just next to the beach and it is long and better than Hua Hin beach. Breakfast is also good and changes daily. The chairs around pool are not enough.

Nice on the surface, but nothing underneath”
Stayed 3 nights over the New Year period. Room was clean. Nice design/style. Nice pool. Close to beach. However, all the niceties are only skin deep. Beneath the surface the hotel was terrible - racist and ignorant (Thai) staff, slow service and poor management/organization. We got lost trying to find the place. Once we arrived, we tried to inform the staff about a very confusing road sign, where we ended up taking a wrong turn. Absolutely no reaction from the staff. We were assigned a room on 3rd floor (no lifts!). I was accompanied by my parents who, due to their age, have difficulty climbing up and down stairs. However, staff refused to move us to a lower floor even though we could see there were several empty rooms. Staff claimed that most guests would be checking in the next day - so why not move us today and give the new guests our room on the 3rd floor? The staff have absolutely no sense of service. The hotel organized a New Year's Eve party, but really should not have bothered. The whole night lacked any sense of organization and there was a tonne of food that went to waste. The "entertainment" was one member of staff trying desperately to get guests to volunteer to sing or dance. She then proceeded to make several remarks (in Thai) about how she would rather give the prizes to Thai people and not foreigners and made a very out-dated (and incorrect) assumption that the "farang" in the audience did not speak Thai. Upon checkout, we tried to ask for a receipt, but staff tried to discourage us and were informed that we would have to wait some time to get the receipt. Why? Possibly they avoid documentation in order to save on taxes.

Quiet and Peaceful Hotel”
do not come here if you want to have a nightlife. there are not many restaurants around too. the hotel is very quiet, you can really relax here. the spa in the hotel is a bit expensive. the breakfast was not that good, but is expected for the price paid.
