The hotel is huge. Just to explore the premises you need half an hour. Staff spoke zero English, so even check in and asking for some recommendations was difficult. We ordered some in room dining via wechat, but also this only in Chinese. The breakfast choice was good, but the breakfast room is like a huge youth hostel. Many chinese families and a lot of people watching movies during breakfast on speaker.

It is a so-called international brand hotel, and since it was the closest to the Terracotta Warriors, I used it the day before visiting. The room size, cleanliness, and facilities were good. The breakfast may have been somewhat bland. What left the biggest impression on me was how genuinely kind all the hotel staff were. Although they didn't speak much English, they responded carefully to ensure there were no misunderstandings, which was a great help during my unfamiliar trip to China.
