Best location and value for money”

ive stayed here numerous times. hotel is clean, provides all the services a 4 star hotel should. gym and pool is clean. rooms are big , clean and comfortable, excellent value especially when booking through agoda. only downfall is theres no wifi, and the internet service provided in the lobby is expensive. this hotel is located a walking distance to siam. which is the centre of shopping, food and entertainment. you can find large shopping malls both market style street stalls to large high-end designer brand shopping. the siam area is the main heart of the city which is the most populated area in terms of business activity. asia hotel has the bts skytrain station attached to the building and has a direct walkway connecting you to the lobby and the station. this is a very convenient method of travel especially in the times a heavy traffic, which is everyday in the central business district of siam. using the skytrain would be much quicker and cheaper during these times. the price per room i paid is approx $50 aud through agoda which includes breakfast if extremely good value espcially when considering how close you are to the heart of the city. would recommend this place for everyone solos travellers, couples, family business.

Lovely hotel, really satisfied”

This is a 5* review, not to be mistaken with a 5* hotel, as it certainly isn't one. However, our time at the Asia Hotel was pleasant for the whole stay and we were extremely pleased with the overall performance. When you enter the Asia Hotel, you realize that this is not your average hotel, but is actually quite grand! The chandeleres in the reception, the many staff on hand to help you, the wonderful interior design - we were very impressed. When we arrived we were told that the room that we booked was unavailable, so they upgraded us without hesitation. I think the upgrade was actually just moving us to the floor above, but hey, who cares. When we got to our room, we were a little disappointed. The size is fairly small and my girlfriend and I were unimpressed. I went to the reception to talk with the staff, and they were really helpful, and after they spoke with their manager, we were again upgraded to a bigger room! There was no fuss or delay. I was sent to my room and told to wait for the bell boy (an upbeat, overfriendly if anything, guy) who arrived within 5 minutes. He showed us to our new room and (for the price) it was perfect! Comfortable bed, nice chairs, good TV (Thai TV isn't much of a joy though), and the bathroom is gorgeous. We were thrilled and decided to book an extra night. Breakfast is delicious, a complimentary (well, incl. in the price) buffet with loads of quality items ranging from scrambled, fried, or omlette style eggs; though the bacon (ham) and sausage could have been improved. Asian style breakfasts available, loads of fruit and cereals. An Elvis impersonater performed in the evening which looked like a laugh, but we always just walked past, too tired from our day out to stop :)

Asia Hotel Stay”

This is my second time staying at Asia Hotel Bangkok for 3 days. I have chosen this hotel due to its convenient location from the hotel to BTS station is just 2 mins. Besides that, the hotel has recently undergone a makeover for the Executive Room. The overall appeal is more conductive now compared to 2 years ago. Although the renovation is still ongoing, we are not affected by the noise level as the hotel will try to place the guests on higher floors and the renovation works would have ended when we returned to hotel at night. Moreover, the hotel was location near to major shopping malls such as Siam Paragon, Siam Centre, MBK, etc and it made travelling easier. In addition, fans of Naraya could also visit the shop located within the hotel for last minute shopping. It was a pleasant stay and I would definately return to stay at Asia Hotel Bangkok again.

Awesome and that's all I can say”

Have been staying at Asia Hotel for a couple of times and was great. But definitely there will be some bad points for this hotel. Firstly, the breakfast was disappointing as they didn't change the menu since 3 years back, every of the food was the same. The hotel doesn't support free wifi for guests, this is something which I suppose every guest would expect. But despite of all these, Asia hotel is really a recommendable place to stay for young couples or family of 4. Easy access to all places. Bts is just 3 mins away. Mbk,siam square,platinum mall and other popular shopping malls are just 10mins away. Night market as well. It's really a pleasant stay. Room is big and clean. Friendly staffs who asked us every morning whether do we want housekeeping. Its 8/10 stay. I will definitely stay at Asia Hotel everytime wjen I go to Bangkok. :)

Perfect location with great price”

I really enjoy staying in Asia Hotel Bangkok, mainly because of the perfect location, you can walk for 10-15 minutes to Siam area which host a lot of nice shopping centre and entertainment such as Madame Tussauds, Ocean World, and MBK to buy gifts and cheap stuffs. It is also linked to Rachathewi BTS station through a bridge and you can easily roam around Bangkok using the BTS itself. If you are heading to/from the airport you can easily use the Airport Link train from Phaya Thai station just 1 station distance from Rachathewi, you can easily get a seat because Phaya Thai is the final stop from Suvarnabhumi station. Room size is quite reasonable, I had pool view so it's quite cool. Lots of TV Channel, but about 80% are Thai language so a bit useless to me, anyway I'm not there to watch the TV. Another cons is no tea/coffee making facilities so if you really need it, 7-Eleven is only 50 metres away from the Hotel Entrance. All in all, I will certainly stay here again if I go to Bangkok for pleasure, can't find other Hotel with better Value for Money.

GREAT STAY AT ASIA HOTEL!!!!”

I stayed 4 nights at Asia Hotel, and i must say it's the best in terms of location! It is a mere 10 minutes away from SIam Centre and MBK mall. GReat place if you're in Bangkok to shop. Moreover, the staff was very very friendly and helpful. I am pretty impress with the hospitality extended. As for the rooms, it was just right in terms of size (too big would have been creepy, and too small would be uncomfortable). The room was clean as well, and a great place to come back to after the entire day out. As for the breakfast included, the food and service was good. Asia hotel would definitely be my best choice when i go back to Bangkok for a visit.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before and I will continue to come back. It is by far the best location if you want to shop or get around the tourist areas of Bangkok. The hotel has an actual skytrain station in it and only one stop away is the station to get the train to the airport, which is so much better than getting a taxi and far cheaper. If you like shopping, the hotel is only a very short and pleasant 1-block walk to MBK - the haven for anything you could possibly want to buy, which is across the road from Siam Square and Paragon where you will find all the high-end labels for shopping. The hotel is only a short tuk-tuk ride, taxi or skytrain to Patpong and Sukhumvit Rd. The hotel has everything you could need - great restaurants, a gym, 2 pools and bars and the breakfast is a great way to start the day. Perhaps a little on the old side, as even my parents stayed here when they were traveling as a young couple, and I took my mother a few years ago and she said it hand't changed since they were there, but the location and the price is magnificent, and the rooms are still beautiful and comfortable. I will always stay at Asia Hotel in Bangkok for these reasons!

Excellent place to stay (Strongly recommended)”

Its my 2nd time checking in to ASia Hotel and it has improve alot from the last time i stay in 2006. What i can say about the hotel is that he room is very clean and i have no complaint about the room as its just amazing. I was impressed for getting for what i had request and the staff there are very helpful. I board a City Skyline Train from the airport to Phya Thai and transit to BTS only 1 station to Ratchathewi (cost 15 baht)and from the station link to 2nd floor of Asia Hotels. Its better than taking a taxi which might.Its very convenient from the hotel to travel to other place by BTS which is connected everywhere in Bangkok. For those enjoy shopping for nice, good and cheap clothings, handbag or etc, There is MBK (600m about 5-10 min walk) and Platinum Mall (1km about 15-20min walk). No need for taxi as they will tend to overcharge especially if you are foreigner. Tuk-tuk are the worst. Thanks to Asia hotel for all this convenient that save us alot of Thai Baht. This hotel i strongly recommend for those travel with family and friends. "2 thumbs up"

Asia Hotel Review”

I like the Asia hotel because it is not very expensive for a four star hotel in down town Bangkok. Itis very convenient to most shopping areas and can take Sky Train to most areas of Bangkok. The rooms are large and very well appointed. I like to shop at MBK and Asia hotel is within walking distance to it. Also close to Siam Center. It is easy to get to from either Airport by express way. I have stayed at the Asia hotel five times now and would go back. My wife and I are very comfortable there.

Very nice hotel in a very good location. The hotel is clean and the staff very friendly and professional. The taxi drivers know Asia Hotel but they are charging expensive prices (the hotel noticed us accordingly). The Taxi service in the hotel is very good and for good price. Asia Hotel being located near Siam area which is what I believe the heart of shopping in Bangkok is very convenient and accessible through public transport as it is connected to a Sky Train station

Exceeded expectations, value for money!!”

This hotel was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Even though there are Bangkok hotels which looked more impressive through my research, thought I'd just trust the first hand experience for myself and book Asia Hotel. I would say Asia Hotel is the finest hotel and value for money I have ever stayed. 5 star service. Staff are patient and willing to go the extra mile. They are very efficient in providing what they can to help you. You will not regret it! I am already wanting to visit Bangkok again and Asia Hotel you deserve my business!! Highly recommend. The breakfast buffet is very decent too, I love the fried rice!! Not to mention it is extremely convenient to the main shopping central of Bangkok. Good work and thank you Asia Hotel!

Wonderful Stay in Asia Hotel Bangkok”

I have been to Bangkok (five) 5 times in the past 4 years and stayed at different hotel each time. So far, Asia Hotel Bangkok is the best that I stayed in. The front desk staff was helpful and accommodating. The hotel rooms (we booked 5 rooms) are spacious and clean. The location of the hotel makes it very accessible by metro rail (BTS), for those going to Chachutak weekend market, and walking distance to Partunam, MBK and night markets. For those wanting to try Thai street food, there are vendors just outside the hotel selling different types of Thai food. We had a wonderful stay at Asia Hotel Bangkok.

my favourite hotel in bangkok”

i've been to bangkok several times now. I always stay at asia hotel. the first impression of this hotel is a bit oldish. however, the room is very clean. the pool is enjoyable. the breakfast buffet is yummy. my mom even said that their croissant are the best. it has a cabaret show in the hotel and for those first timer at bangkok. do stay here cause the transportation is very convenient. you can just use the bts and only one stop to siam paragon. walking distance to platinum. you can use taxi however during traffic time, bts is very helpful and time saving.

AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY”

I took a solo trip & booking Asia Hotel Bangkok made my trip so memorable :) I highly recommend this hotel for those looking for convenience & value for money!! 1) Amazing & convenient location - hotel is linked to the BTS station directly, & I can take a walk to Platinum Mall / Pratunam Market. 2) Staff were helpful, attentive, & responsive to requests. My neighbours were noisy at 2am, & I could not communicate with them due to language barrier. I intercom reception to assist with this & they apologised & quickly took action. The noise died down after. 3) Facilities are good. There are many restaurants in the hotel & has a good gym & 2 pools. However, the pool on the 12th floor was slightly dirty with bits of algae floating around. 4) Housekeeping was good - room was always restocked with water & coffee every day. The room was made up nicely, towels fresh, bed was comfortable & clean. Only con is that the hotel is slightly old & my fridge was not cold, making my food go bad.

really enjoyed my stay at asia bangkok hotel! very convenient from logistic point ov view and comfortable - big and well decorated rooms, clean and nice bathrooms, all you need for stay in bangkok...shops, close massage parlours and even a transgender show - without leaving the hotel...close to the siam and mbk shopping centres, close to the star line tube... will definately recommend asia hotel to my friends!!!

Nice Hotel in a good location”

We stayed 4 nights in October in a Superior Room. The room was quite large and in good condition. The staff were friendly and helful. The BTS can be accessed from the second floor and is great for travelling around Bangkok. The hotel is one stop from the MBK shopping Centre. The breakfast was good and there was a large selection to choose from. We ate several meals in the hotel and we were impressed with the quality and price. The staff suggested several tours which were reasonably priced. We would have no hesitation in returning to the Asia Hotel next time we are in Bangkok.

Asia Hotel - one of the best”

The Asia hotel has been one of my favorites ever since the BTS was built. It is adjacent and has a bridge to the Ratchathewi Station so you don't even have to go onto the street to get to the best mass transit system in the city. It is one BTS stop or ten minutes walk to the best shopping area in the city where you will find Siam Center, and Siam Paragon, and one more BTS stop to Central World Plaza. These are the three top shopping outlets in Bangkok. The hotel is clean, modern and very professionally run by the excellent staff.

Although Asia Hotel Bangkok is not new, it still maintains its elegant look and feel as a luxury hotel within Bangkok BCD. In my opinion, time only adds to its grace. As large and busy as it is, check-in and out is efficiently managed by effective and professional staff. The classic style room is large enough for two or three people, with usual amenities for guests. Traveling to and from the hotel to business premises or shopping stores is very convenient with BTS sky train, buses, or walking. So, Asia Hotel Bangkok is still a good choice for any one who wants to get within touch with Bangkok BCD.

Being new to Bangkok, the people on duty at the information desk provided us with details on the nearby sight seeing and shopping places.
