3 Star quality for 1 Star price”
This hotel is located right opposite Gullivers Pub on Soi 5. It was a very pleasant surprise in respect of the quality of accomodation for the price, but the price was a special promotion and might not be available much longer. However, there was one signoificant drawback for me: this hotel caters mainly for guests from the Middle East and North Africa, so the TV was full of Arab channels with not much at all for poor old farangs, like me, to watch. I mentioned this problem to the lady at reception and she told me why. Breakfast is available at extra charge if required and can be taken outside on the terrace. The hotel is suitable for families.

Good value for money”
Rooms are clean and decent size. Hotel does not provide coffee and tea making facilities, nor shampoo. The price of the room (via Agoda) includes a simple breakfast and free internet (that actually works). At such rate one can afford to buy an electric kettle and coffee and tea, and some shampoo. Main thing is that rooms on the rear side of the building have no view at all: they look out on a wall of another building. So, try and get a room on the front side. The hotel has a decent restaurant offering Thai and Arabic food.

Nice Location center of Bangkok.”
The Bangkok Sahara Hotel is in the prime Nana - Sukhumvit where area, most restaurant, money changers, retail shops and Bumrungrad hospital are near by. Hotel value wise is good but you will always be disappointed by reception staffs, they are very rude and no respect to the customers.

Just a few days private stay around new year”
Hotel is in the middle of Arab neighbourhood but just some few hundred meters from the NANA BTS station. Location and connectivity to hotspots in Bangkok is great (with BTS, taxis always stuck around here). In the midst of business district and most of the top hotels but way better prices with decent comfort (Arabs on a reasonable non-business budget, not royals). Long story short - rooms are ok - focus on sleeping in the hotel en and enjoying the city outside of the hotel. Internet is unsure about the fact if this hotel has a pool, answer is no.

Hotel near Halal food and Nana Street”
The hotel was okay. You can find halal food nearby but only Arabic food. The area used to have Thai/Malaysian restaurant there but it was no more. The hotel opposite Bangkok Sahara perform Friday prayers for Male Muslim who wants to perform Friday prayer. What was not okay is that if you booked the hotel online, please make sure that you pay online too and not at the hotel as the hotel did not provide any credit card facilities/machine. It's so dissappointing. Agoda should inform in the reservation that the hotel did not have any credit card facilities.

this is a decent mid-range choice right in the heart of bangkok - within short walk of nana bts station and close to plenty of restaurants, street stalls etc.

Pleasant hotel in a good location”
this hotel is in an area with mostly middle eastern clientele and most guests (except us)were from the middle east.we had no problem mixing with these guests and we had some interesting talks. we originally booked here for 3 nights but extended our booking to 9 nights.our room on the 3rd floor was spotless and although the 2 cleaning girs couldn't speak any english, they were extremely helpful and diligent.breakfast was ok with 3 different courses to choose from.only downside of this hotel is the tv station selections.only 2 english speaking movie stations.

the hotel clients are particularly moslim people but of course westerners are welcome too. the service was good and the employes were kind, nothing more nothing less. visitors were not allowed to come in the room.

Good value for money”
i was in bangkok for one-night and wanted to stay in the mix of the night life without spending a fortune. the hotel is tucked into the lane and offers decent rooms for solo travelers. you can walk to the nearest sky train station, good restaurants, bars in 10 minutes or less.

Ok hotel in a great location”
We used the Sahara as our last stop before jetting home, didn't eat there as the street food just around the corner is to die for and so cheap. Room was ok, it had a windown though it was pointless looking out of it as there was no view other than of the back of four other hotel rooms.

Easy Halal Food & BTS train & Shopping”
The room is clean and location is strategic at the Arab area. Easy halal food for muslim and there have Kiblat sign at the hotel. The mosque (musholla) is located just opposite of the hotel. The night life is happening with all the shop is open until midnight nightmarket is open all the night. However, my room air-cond produce a weird sound and interrupt my sleep.

A little old school”
the sahara hotel is situated in an arab precinct with hairdressers, travel agents and the like catering for that market - it would appear this influenced a large portion of the guests as well (which was fine for us but just throwing it out there). we found the rooms to be a little old; dark with an ageing decor. tv channels were rather limited again with a heavy middle eastern bent. whilst free wireless was on offer the corridors are long and we were in the end rooms - where the free wifi signal did not reach. my phone kicked in on wi-fi about 1/2 down the corridor to the central column. the food was ok with some ok set options but we probably expected a little more - plenty of bars and restaurants nearby though. we basically chose this place as they advertised avalable car parking - but then they tried to charge us for it! probably most travellers won't have a car but if you do expect a charge for parking.

As it has mentioned the Wi Fi is free, not getting in side the room. Getting on the corridor of the floor, (out side of the room). And the Receptionist also talk with us very rood. And got the rooms in 1 floor was terrible. The receptionist told not to make any reservation for any request. Hear after not staying this Hotel any more.
