A nice stay at Chateau de Bangkok”

I had an excellent stay at the Chateau de Bangkok!! The staffs were very very friendly and they are so helpful. The room is very good, clean and comfortable. You'll have a nice view from their swimming pool. It is very easy to get a cab in front of the hotel or you can ask for the hotel's staff to find you one. Chateau de Bangkok is quite near to the Ploen Cit BTS station, and it is also near to the sukhumvit road. Suan Lum night bazaar is just 10-15 walk. They also have a small mart at the lobby and also lots of newspapers.. ^__^ There are coffee shop, thai spa n massage, restaurants and 7eleven very near to the hotel, so i have to say that this hotel has a very good location. I do really2 enjoy my stay there..

Chateau de Bangkok is right up there with our top favorite hotels: Regent Sydney, Four Seasons Las Vegas, Westin & Imperial Tokyo, Intercontinental Seoul, Waldorf+Astoria New York, any Klimpton property. It is classy and understated without being stuffy or too over the top. Comfortable & scrupulously clean, fast elevators, Paparazzi Restaurant--exquisite! Roof-top pool is gorgeous. Great lighting, fast elevators. Staff is first-rate, esp. "Bond, James Bond!" Very comfy bed--not the typical rock-hard Thai bed. Welcome drink, room escort made us feel right at home. Wake up call on time, taxi arrangements perfect. Under-promised, over-delivered. Extraordinary property! Agoda rate was the BEST value! Will definitely return!

Chateau De Bangkok Review”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Chateau de Bangkok. It's about the 10th time I stay here. It is very reasonably priced (Especially through Agoda.com!!) and the staff and facility are great. I feel like I'm a welcomed guest when I stay there. The business center is well maintained and staffed. The pool and fitness center are clean and well supervised. This is a great value and excellent location in Bangkok near to shopping, business, and BTS Skytrain. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I have mine!!

Good mid-priced hotel close to embassy”

the chateau de bangkok was a fair value for the price. The room was fairly large, the bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a nice treat. this hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the nearest BTS station so is a good starting point for getting out and seeing the rest of the city. It is about the same distance to the entrance to the US Embassy so it is a good place to stay if you have business there as well. Breakfast selection was small but everything was fresh and tasty.

A different experience”

It was my first time to stay at Chateau. I considered this hotel as I've heard pretty good things about the hotel from my friends who have stayed in previously. The hotel gives a very homey ambiance -- unlike the typical 5 star hotels that makes you feel away from home, this one makes you feel like you're home. The kitchen with complete chinawares and silverwares plus a fridge, a microwave, a water heater, cable, internet, tub, couch and bed. It's a good place to come home after touring around Bangkok. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you are looking for an economically priced hotel, all you need is to add up a little something extra and you will get a lot more compared to the budget hotels out there. With the price I paid at Chateau I could say it was way much worth it. I got my money's worth. Definitely coming back if I have the chance to.

Great location”

We have stayed several times in the Chateau de Bangkok and we have always been impressed by this hotel. We always get them to collect us from the airport and they have never missed a pick-up. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes from the closest sky-train station which makes going around Bangkok very easy. We stayed in the smallest room available and were impressed by how much space we had (a lounge area as well as a kitchen area for those who fancy cooking; there was a big fridge and microwave as well). Service is very good but we did not have the breakfast included in our package so I can't cooment on the food. All in all, a great hotel.

A great Chateau!”

The Chateau de Bangkok is a very good hotel in an excellent location. It is only a couple of minutes away from the Sky Train station and this makes it so easy to travel around the city without having to use taxis or other transport. Everyone in the hotel is very friendly and helpful and any requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Although it is central, it is very quiet and the swimming pool on the roof is great to spend a few hours or have a look at the city. The newly opened bar/restaurant at the top of the hotel is also to be recommended.

Nice hotel but no double bed”

i don't like big hotel so, chateau de bangkok is one of my hotel that i am looking for if i have to stay in town. the shopping mall that,s really closed to the hotel are central chidlom, siam paragon, kaesorn plaza and central world. i like dining out they are so many restaurants on the same street to the hotel. so enjoy your stay at chateau de bangkok.

Unbeatable prices @a superb location”

We have been to BKK numerous times and I must said the pavement leading to Chateau De Bangkok is one of the cleanest and well paved one. Though it is located around 300m+ from the nearest BTS station, it has been a pleasant walk. The hotel was tuck away in a quiet part of the neighbourhood, no rousing noise from any nightlife and drunkards. The hotel is basically quite old, having been built in 1995. Nevertheless, the environment look good enough for short term stay (even up to months). The check in process was fast and we will usher into or room in no time. The room size was big by most hotel rooms' standard and we will pleasantly surprised to find a Jacuzzi inside the bathroom as well. The room is divided into walk in closet, kitchenette (with a sizable fridge, microwave and even induction cooker) and a working cum living area. The bed is comfortable with soft flurry pillows. My only issue is: I saw cockroaches appearing in the kitchenette and living area! I understand there is basic housekeeping and perhaps the housekeeper should do more to eradicate this problem! The gym appeared to be renovated recently with new equipment while the swimming is a tad small though it serves it purpose well! One plus point is that both facilities open from 6am onwards, which is a good thing for travellers wanting a quick dip in the pool or workout in the gym before they begin their day. Overall, it has been a pleasant stay and I will definitely shortlist this as one of the accommodation I will consider for my next BKK trip!

Good value hotel”

The chateau de Bangkok provides apartments to rent. A bit faded now compared to when they first opened but still very good value and very spacious. You get lots of space for your money and every convenience you could want. Great for self catering for the inter stay and to that expensive. Location is good just down the road from ploenchit and walkable to lumpini and chit lom and Siam. Over the road from the hotel you have the massive pacific place development with everything you could need. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel with great staff, quiet location”

I really enjoyed my time at Chateau de Bangkok. The staff were fantastic, it was centrally located in a quiet street with easy access via taxi to all major attractions. The room was very spacious, the most comfortable bed in Bangkok, beautiful furniture, good free WiFi. Beautiful gym and pool with spa. Was a really pleasant hotel to stay at, I would definitely recommend to others.

Great Comfort at a Great Value”

The hotel is located really near public transportation and is really near to the shopping district as well. We enjoyed using the hotel's facilities as they were very well maintained. The staff at the Chateau de Bangkok were very friendly and accommodating and would go out of their way to serve us. I would most definitely recommend the Chateau to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Very nice hotel”

We decided to stay at this hotel because the hotel that we normally stay at had increased its prices. We were not disappointed with our selection of the Chateau Bangkok. It is well situated for conducting business at the US Embassy or Vietnam Embassy. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is located at the backside of the CRC Tower and Conrad Hilton Ballroom. Security Guards assist you to cross the street. The CRC Tower has a Burger King and Sizzler restaurants along with Starbucks and a Chinese Restaurant. We found the hotel to be an attractive alternative to the Centre Point Wireless Road Hotel and will consider it for future visits to Bangkok.

Chateau De Bangkok”

This trip included my fourth and fifth stays at the Chateau de Bangkok. I've stayed at other competing properties near its location, but none can compete with the Chateau based upon value. I will continue staying at the Chateau for my future visits to Bangkok. It's near everything and convenient to Bangkok attractions and night life. The staff made me feel welcome and at home.

Great location and wonderful staff”

We had a great 4 day stay at Chateau de Bangkok. It is in a great location close to shops and places to eat breakfast plus our room had a little kitchen. The BTS is within 5min walk. The room was huge with a sofa and small table and chair plus a nice size room to keep the baggage. There is a nice roof top pool and soon there will be a new gym. This is a great value for money! Highly recommended.

Great Hotel”

Would definitely recommend Chateau de Bangkok. Very nice rooms with large bathrooms. I did not do the included breakfast option, so can't speak to that. Instead I bought my own stuff and utilized the refrigerator and microwave provided. If you want to use the Skytrain, it's a bit of a walk back up to the main street, though I did it everyday and it didn't bother me. You can, of course, always have the hotel staff get you a taxi. A nice place, especially if you are going to stay more than just a couple of nights.

Well, not to say much. This time I stayed in chateau de Bangkok was so nice. I spent not much money to stay here and I got more than satisfied with that amount of money. Great Hotel in Bangkok”

I loved my stay at the Chateau de Bangkok. This is my second stay at this hotel, and I've got to say my experience will keep me coming back. The great service from the staff, the convenient location and the good facilities make this hotel a perfect stay for travellers of all types!

A good convenient hotel, close to church and BTS”

I stayed at the Chateau on the eve of my Wedding (Holy Redeemer Church). It was a good choice. It was walking distance to church, it had a good parking space for my 1953 vintage Benz, and my mum and sister-in-law both had a good night's sleep before my big day. The staff were efficient and attentive, and the look on their faces when I emerged in my wedding dress was priceless! Thank you Chateau de Bangkok for making my wedding eve and wedding day happy!

My niece and I were very satisfied with the accommodation. From the sumptuous breakfast buffet, to the cleanliness of our room and the friendliness and courtesy of the staff, I will definitely stay here again and will recommend Chateau de Bangkok to my friends.
