As I travel a lot through Thailand I use Survanabhumi airport for my transfer and The Grand Inn Come hotel is ideally situated near Survanabhumi airport. The grand Inn come hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the airport at a very reasonable rate and I have found the service to be excellent. The grand Inn come hotel itself is a clean hotel with a good size room and a comfortable bed to sleep in. If you are a smoker the hotel offers a complete floor to cater for the smokers needs. On the third floor the hotel has a massage room if you need to unwind and relax. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly and they can speak English quite well.

Good deal”

I had a late flight into Bangkok with an early flight out the next morning and the Grand Inn Come Hotel was perfect for a quick overnight stay. The rate was extremely affordable and the room was clean and orderly.The staff was helpful and courteous. I am a female traveling solo and felt safe the entire time. I had asked for car service and the driver was able to pick me up within 1/2 hour of my arrival at the airport. After you land, you go to the car service area, look for your name and let the person know that you've arrived. They then call the hotel and the drive picks you up.

Always a pleasure to stay”

I have stayed here on several occasions and it is always a pleasure to return to the Grand Inn Come Hotel. The airport pickup is swift and takes only 10 minutes to the Hotel. The staff are always friendly and helpful and ensure a quick check-in is granted. The rooms are clean and spacious but try to ask for a room at the rear of the hotel as it can get a little noisy if you are facing the main road. There is a very good choice for breakfast and you should definately try the 150 baht lunchtime buffet...superb value for money. Overall, its a nice hotel whether you want to use it as a base for exploring Bangkok or whether you are staying for 1 night before flying onwards.

Grand Inn Come review”

We booked in to the Grand Inn Come Hotel on our last nights stay in Thailand. We found it on the internet and found it to be good value for money and close to the aerport. On arrival at the Hotel we were greeted by friendly, helpfull staff, who helped us with our luggage and our young baby. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Although as we were taken to our room the concierge entered the room and decided to put us in a different room than the one allocated to us,for reasons he did not explain. As doing so in the morning we did not recieve our wake up call as the main desk hadn't noted this on their records. Luckily we had our older children with us and they were not moved from their first allocated room, and did recieve a wake up call.

Good Value for the Price”

As an American doing business in Asia for the past 14 years on a monthly basis I was very pleased with my overnite stay at this hotel.The hotel is easily accessed from the airport by taxi for about $5.00 US Dollars. Even though the hotel offers a free hotel van for arriving guests, I would suggest you pay the small taxi fare and avoid trying to find the hotel driver on leaving the Immigration area. The hotel was surprisingly comfortable condsidering the price. The rooms were very clean and the customer sevices staff were excellent. Since my departure was prior to the opening of the free buffet breakfast that begins at 6am, I was pleasantly surprised when the lobby staff on their own brought me a fresh cup of coffee, juice and two slices of bread with butter and jam. I can say after staying at the Novotel many times that you would never receive that service if you leave before the buffet opens.I would strongly suggest a traveler stay at this hotel if they are looking for a good value that is close to the airport and only plan on transiting bangkok to another location the next morning.

Friendly service, good food, a bit run down”

We touched down at the Grand Inn Come for an overnight stay just before flying out to Kuala Lumpur. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and although the hotel has obviously seen better days (everyone mentions the carpet in the corridors and I can see why), the room was quite lovely. I am not sure about value for money in Bangkok; we had a Deluxe Room for around 3000 Baht and it was perhaps a little overpriced, but not much. We got in very late - around 10pm local time - and so we were not expecting much from the (deserted) restaurant. Surprisingly, their 24-hour restaurant still made lovely, fresh food which was a delight (especially after eight hours on a plane from Melbourne). I would stay here again if I had to spend the night near the airport.

A Good Airport Hotel”

As keen aviation enthusiasts my brother and I stayed at this hotel as we had read about the views of the runway and the ability to watch aircraft and we were not disappointment. The hotel has been 'grand' in its day but the fabric of the hotel are now a little dated. Having said that the hotel is extremely clean and the staff could not have been more friendly. It does seem though as if the hotel is about to be taken over. We were met as scheduled from the airport and given the rooms which we had asked for. The hotel seems to cater mostly for Chinese Group travellers and as such the breakfast reflected this, although they do have a Western section where fried eggs, bacon, tomatoes, toast and coffee were available. Excellent service with taxis when wanting to go out to explore Bangkok at extremely reasonable costs. We enjoyed a good stay at this hotel and would definately return.

BKK airport Convenience”

If you need to catch an early morning flight out of BKK, Grand Inn Come hotel is a reasonably priced option. The shuttle to the airport leaves promptly every hour on the hour..

Near airport, smart hotel”

I had an early morning flight out of Bangkok to Europe so booked in to Grand Inn Come for just one night. A taxi drove me from the airport in about 12 minutes. I had a modern comfortable room; I'd been warned to request a quiet room away from a karaoke venue's noise! Hotel has a massage parlour with the usual selection of ladies who massage and who offer extras! Took no-charge shuttle car to the airport after a good night's sleep.

Good value for overnight transfer through BKK”

Last minute booking because our original flight got canceled which resulted in an overnight stay in BKK. We were promptly picked up at the airport by the hotel shuttle, and the ride back to the airport the next morning was just as nice. Very courteous staff all around. Room was plenty big for 2 adults and 2 children. Although the carpet and bathroom could use an update, the room was very clean and had all that's needed. The night we arrived, there was a band playing right outside on the street. It was very loud and went on until probably well after 1am. But we were prepared for worse so we didn't complain. The buffet breakfast was really nice compared to some better hotels we've stayed at. The price is right and we would probably come back if we ever need another overnight stay through BKK.

Ideal location”

The Grand Inn Come hotel is situated very close to the airport. It is ideal if you have a connecting flight the next morning. The grand Inn come hotel also has taxi service that will pick you up and take you back to the airport if you want and is reasonably priced but make sure you book it in advance.

Experience ”

I was told there would a person representing Grand Inn Come Hotel outside by gate 4 of the airport. I could see no placard name either of myself (i was probably one arriving at 10 pm) nor of the hotel; I had to ask around and finally got pointed to a person busy pouring over on his cell phone. If I am not used to asking around and as a Japanese knew no Thai or English, I could have been left stranded. 2ndly. On the website it says it says pick from Suvarnabhumi airport and drop-off is FREE; several reviews say that also. But I was told when I had called up to make the arrangement it will cost me 400 bhats total. If I refused to pay I would be forfeiting hotel payment and sleeping in the airport for morning flight. I paid with reluctance. This should be credited back to me on my credit card account to which hotel bill is charged. If you have a different information let me know. And if there is charge for every passenger, the reference to free shuttle ride should be removed as when making a booking I had taken this into consideration. I also tipped the driver who picked up late and dropped me off next morning 50 bhats. He delivered and picked up my luggage from my room: good service, but the desk service was not as good. I rested OK, but truck noise woke me up at 4 am, and there was no tea bags or any milk in the room, nor sugar. So I drank hot water until I reached the airport. I could hardly stay awake at check-in!! Bilimo

Convenient location, friendly service”

i enjoyed a night's stay at the grand inn come. while not exceptional, it addressed my needs perfectly for the night. a comfortable bed; attentive, friendly service; free wifi; tasty food and a fresh coconut, along with a very handy airport transfer service every two hours, allowing me to catch a good night's rest before my connecting flight. i would recommend this for those in the same situation, but maybe not for a romantic getaway.

Perfect as a transit hotel”

We had an early flight at the BKK airport and so we chose to stay at a hotel closer to the airport on our last night in Bangkok. The hotel offers free shuttle service to/from the airport and the driving distance is only 10mins. The driver was polite and nice and kept smiling. We didn't have the chance trying the breakfast buffet because of the early flight, but the reception lady at the time of check in was kind enough to suggest preparing sandwich and drink for us (and it turned out the sandwich was a decent and yummy one). The style of the hotel is slightly "retro", but the facilities are well-maintained. Overall staying experience is good.

Great location for airport.”

Hotel is clean and located near Bangkok airport with free transfer provided. Note to be careful about minibar and other extra fees which for the type of hotel are a little bit high. The reason I choose this hotel is location when I'm traveling internationally since Bangkok traffic is so unpredictable. Would recommend to people needing a clean standard room traveling next day.

Great transit hotel”

We needed a reasonably priced hotel close to the airport for an overnight layover and this hotel was a great choice. They provided a free pick up and drop off service, which was MUCH appreciated. We did have to wait about 25 minutes to get picked up, but that would be our only complaint. It is about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Room was clean, beds comfortable and check in/check out was efficient. Please ignore the food/dining rating below as we did not eat at the hotel, arriving late, leaving super early.

close to suvarnabhumi”

The hotel is fairly close to the Suvarnabhumi airport -- about a US$4 (120THB) cab ride if you use the metered taxi, even with the airport surcharge. I used it for an overnight stay. Breakfast was ok. Taxi on the way back to the airport (called by the front desk) did not use meter, charged me 150THB after some discussion. I like this hotel -- I have stayed here before, and would stay here again. Not fancy, but just right for an airport overnight, with all the necessary conveniences. Windows do not open.

Best for transit”

I stayed overnight as a transit to go to ientiane from Japan. I arrived in Bangkok at midnight, but Grand Inn Come is close to the airport so it didn't take ten minutes to go to the hotel. And I was warmly and politely welcomed by hotel staff. I think the price including breakfast is reasonable and best for transit.
