I have stayed many times. Staff nice and rooms are big with good gym and sauna. It is also quiet. If only there was a pool. Manager please add a pool :)

Close to the Rama9 mrt station (7min to walk or 20THB by mototaxi). Quiet, the staff is very helpful. Close to restaurants, streetfoods and convenient stores. I recommend this hotel if you want to be close to RAMA 9 Station, Central .

+ the staff is very friendly, and they clean the room very well The problem is the rooms are very old, furnitures are very very old and a bit of funghi in the bathrooms. What was worse for us is, that the aircondition blowa directly on the bed. The aircondition is so old, that you cannot change the direction and the speed of the air. The only possibility was to hang a towel in front of it. Also the Wifi is working quite badly. I would not check in there again.

Too far out to main street”
Normal hotel with all the basic items you need and room is very spacious and clean. The only problem, its too far away from the main street about and you need to walk 20 to 25 mins to the MRT at Phram 9, by the time you walk out, you feel tired and fill with sweat. Only for those whole drive.

Great spot, good price”
Foreigners may consider the Grandprapa to be a bit out of the way, however, it's actually really close to cool things. You have Central Rama 9, Fortune Tower, and Esplanade malls within 15 minute walk. You could take a scooter taxi for even faster travel. There are plenty of excellent local stands to get food, and great local prices. None of that up-charged prices for foreigners. The best was the softest I have ever had in Thailand!!! The room is clean, they provide clean bedding and bottled water every day. This was the nicest place I've ever seen in Thailand.

Very Happy”
We chose Grandprapa Place for it's location. It was close to my wife's relative's home. The accommodation was excellent, large room and spotlessly clean, the staff were fantastic. If you don't mind a 1 Klm walk to the rail and shopping centres (we didn't mind), it's perfect. Plenty of good street food around this area and getting taxis is easy. Definitely stay here again.

Spacious room with great view in a calm street”
Grandprapa Place is basically a modern apartment building renting out rooms on a daily as well as monthly basis. As such they don't have a restaurant or breakfast but there's a café next door and plenty of other options just a 5-minute walk away. You can reach the Phra Ram 9 metro stop in 15 minutes by foot. Our room was a spacious double room on the 6th floor with a great view. The normal-sized fridge/freezer is a useful feature. The room was not impeccably clean, I'd rate it 4/5. The walls are a bit thin, we could sometimes hear the neighbours but that wasn't a big issue. We were free to use the gym and sauna on the top floor. The staff was really flexible regarding check-in and check-out. I would stay there again.

Good hotel in quiet location”
We had a room in the 6th floor with city view. The room vas spacious and clean. The hotel is locatede in a quiet side road which is wonderful after a day in the noicy traffic of Bangkok. The staff is very kind, polite and service minded. We have stayed at this hotel several times and are always satisfied with our stay. The do not serve food at this appartment hotel, but it is a lot of places to eat not far from the hotel. They have a shuttle service to the MRT (subway). If you prefer to walk it will take you approx 10 min to the nearest station.

Web site www.grandprapaplace.com New clean rooms with pictures and wallpaper, quality drapes and a computable bed with closets and drawer space, with table for eating. Very good staff with suitcases put in cab before requested. Has massage connected along with coffee and laundry and dry cleaning available. Many restaurants if needed to eat in. Floor 6 is recommended with garden and view overlooking the city. Good fitness center with sauna. Hotel will provide shuttle to MRT station certain hours, no pickup from MRT station. Downside, no in room coffee, no room deadbolts, restaurant not open until 10AM, but laundry and coffee shop open. Limited TV channels few English speaking. No other areas noted, did not try restaurant. Web site pictures as is in hotel and not modified for occupancy. Very good value and services for the pricing, and apartments are also available. Street entrances on Ratchadapisek Road behind Chinese Embassy go down to Ratchadapisek Soi 7 turn right at end of street. Phone 02-641-9799 if needed for taxi driver. Easy walk to Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 large modern Mall with everything including many restaurants and a Sizzler, Yves Rocher cosmetics from France a hundred others. Many shops and local street vendors on the way to malls. Also across is the IT Fortune Town Mall hosting camera, electronics, computer, covering 4 floors of Mall with Tesco grocery on bottom floor. All next to MRT Pha Ram 9 station connecting to BTS and can get you all over Bangkok areas at air conditioned low subway pricing, many times faster than taxi in traffic and fun experience if never been on.

The stay was great. Very friendly staff and a clean hotel with spacious rooms. Shuttle service to the MRT (Subway). Hotel could be a bit difficult to find, but I ca really recomend this hotel. Very good value for money. Rather new hotel in a quiet area of Ratchadapisek. 10 min to walk to MRT and to shopping mall. I will for sure return to this hotel next time I come to Bangkok

Great value for the 3 star hotel”
Really enjoyed staying at the hotel. There are street foods along Ratchada Soi 3 including 2 of 7/11, chemist shop, salons, barbershops, coin laundries and massage on the first floor at the hotel. However, walking 800m (short cut) to Fortune Shopping Mall, MRT Rama IX and Central Plaza Rama IX. Staff at the reception are quite nice and friendly. Thank you for your great hospitality. Will return next time.

New hotel in a surprisingly convenient location”
At first arrival this hotel seemed a little out of the way due to the lay of the roads.However on check in (11am)we were advised by the staff that they have a free shuttle which could take us from the hotel to the nearest MRT(underground) station-Phra Ram 9.It only runs from 7am to midday.So we managed to get on the next run.The driver said there was no pick up service though.So on our return we came out at the Fortune Town(shopping centre) exit and followed the signs around the back to Charoen Market.To our surprise we were only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel.The other shopping centre at the MRT station is a Big C Supercentre. The hotel has CCTV and also Key Card access.There was a paper menu in the room but when we enquired about food they advised us that the restaurant(which is located almost next door to the hotel entrance) was not open.This was 9.30am.Menu said open 9am to 11pm. The hotel does not provide breakfast.The bed was nice and comfy and there was an extraordinary amount of storage space.Probably because this hotel offers monthly rates as well

Amazing staff!”
Amazing staff! Couldn't do enough for us-whether that was helping us with the general tourist info, ordering us cheap taxi's, or being patient by our attempts of the Thai language-(very limited- almost nothing). We originally planned to stay one week- but ended up staying 2 1/2 weeks because of the hospitality shown to us by the beautiful staff. A cafe with its own washing facilities and massage place are situated next door to the hotel. Convenient. Location is good with 2 major shopping centres and MRT being only a 10 minute walk away, at night it seems less when walking past the street food and 711 shops. We loved our stay!

Grandpa passed is always my favorite, I was staying here since they open. My family like it here too. It locate on great location Ratchada. Reasonable price, The room is clean but bed sheet and pillow case look dirty and a lot of stain stick on it. They should clean it better.
