Nice Iconic Hotel”

tuk chang ratchayothin hotel deserve more review. having stayed at the hotel i feel that the hotel is really nice with great view and nice room setting. the bed is comfortable and the staff are friendly. you get your breakfast at a very nice lobby and the breakfast is nice. the only downside is that the wifi, gym and swimming pool is not available during my duration of stay. else i would give it 5 star.

Valuable hotel for convention at elephant tower (tuk chang) . It's not the usual shopping hotel near famous shopping area of pratunam or sukumvit. However one can visit the central mall and union mall where prices may go lower then platinum. Major ratchayothin cineplex with linked j-avenue with entertainment is across the road

Good hotel near Chatuchuk”

It was quite a pleasant stay except that the hotel was extremely unutilised. The Tuk Chang or Elephant Tower is 25 years old but the hotel is only 2.5 years in operation. As foreign hotel guests, we were given rooms on the highest 18 floor. Very good views and nice spacious modern impressive rooms, but then suddenly there were quite a few cockcroaches appearing, totalling 10 over the 2 nights we stay there. The international buffet breakfast were decent and less than 20 hotel guests eat there. Union mall and Central Lat Phrao is just 20 mins straight road walk from the hotel. Opposite the hotel is also 2 malls with mainly cafes and restaurants.

The hotel is located in the "Elephant Building" which is a landmark in Bangkok. The advantage to this location is that taxi drivers are all aware of where the "Tuk Chang" building is. The building is not located in a convenient area for tourism. There were street markets and food vendors within walking distance, but other restaurants and tourist sites are a good distance away. The service was friendly and the room was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was average.

Beautiful room, perfect for business trips”

Hi, booked 1 night in this hotel as a stopover, it's located in a tower above offices, staff member tummy said they have been open only a year, we had a superior deluxe room, it was like a mini apartment, gorgeous room, most comfortable bed, excellent shower, flat screen tv (only 1 channel in English though) room came with free buffet breakfast, the evening meals were pricey but beautiful. We had a potato in one of our dishes that had been carved into a temple!!!!! It's about just under a mile walk to a big tesco lotus and a few shopping malls, excellent stopover hotel as not too far from victory monument station and north bus station if your planning a trip north, quite out the way of all the nightlife so not recommended if its your 1st time in Bangkok, unless it's for business, we made cock up with our intended travel plans and the staff couldn't be more helpful in phoning around to find out minibuses for us etc, please note this is a non smoking hotel and they don't allow 'guests' in your room after 8pm, any 'guest' will be charged 800 baht.

The hotel is located in the "Elephant Building" in the suburbs of Bangkok. The building is not close to tourist sites, but taxi drivers are all familiar with the building. All you need so say is "Tuk Chang". The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was average. The room was comfortable and had a great view of the city from the 18th floor.

Great hidden find in the "Elephant Building"”

if you need to be in the ratchayothin or latprao area, i highly recommend trying this hotel which is located inside the famous and unmistakeable elephant building. it used to be a best western, although the room is quite basic but definitely clean and functional. breakfast is served in a nice cafe in the "tusks" of the elephant, while the rooms are located higher up around the 18th floor of the "head". good views of latprao road below and scb park nearby. overall, i thought i got a great deal and would come back to stay here again.

Nice Hotel but ....far from BTS”

Iyarin Tuk Chang is a nice hotel. Clean, spacious room, good staff. Even they provide our rooms at 11.00 am. Minus poin are : staff lack of English, at first time room were full of smoke smell and quite far away from BTS / MRT station so we have to ride a Taxi every time we want to go to center. Food was so so and not much choices

Staying in the Elephant Building”

This hotel is easily the best value in the Ratchayothin area of Bangkok. It is also found in the famous elephant building of the area. This was our third stay at the hotel and there's a good chance we'll be back. A short walk finds the Major malls at Ratchayothin.

Perfect hotel ,luxury and comfort.”

It is the most perfect hotel for the chatuchak market. It costs 50baht by taxi to the market. Across the road is the fabulous movie house where the latest movies can all be seen in english in 3D.Food is across the road on streets and in the plaza, there is a small, night market as well. You have the central plaza also across the road and a 7-11 next to the hotel.

Decent hotel ”

A decent no nonsense hotel . Rooms with quality fittings , bed with good matrass and a modern badroom . We stayed in a standard room but everything was up to par . Breakfast was not great but there weren't to much customers when we where there . We also had diner there and that was very good and cheap . Normal prices for the minibar . We had some business close to Chatuchak , otherwise it's a bit far out of town . Would defenitely stay there again .

Good Location and Good Value”

We needed to stay in Ratchayotin/Ladprao area so this hotel was perfect. It had a secure car park located on the 8th parking floor. The reception is located on the 5th floor of Tuk Chang. Friendly and fast service when checking in. The rooms were a little small but very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower was great. The flat screen tv was good but limited English channels. Overall, it was good value and would stay here again if I need to stay in the area.

Nice room design. Breakfast is given. Above expectation, wifi is given for this room price. This is one of the best hotel for this given price range. Definitely, I would reserve this hotel again next time.
