We stayed at the Jolly many times in the past 3 years. It is a little bit from the tourist attractions but now has a BTS station very close. They have a large outdoor pool, a good fitness center and a first class spa. The rooms are large, more like an efficiency apartment, with dining table and chairs.

Great hotel with more than basic needs”

I chose this hotel for my 2 weeks staying in Bangkok because it's close to my friend's home. It's a great hotel considering its low price. I love the extra storage spaces in the room. It's include breakfast for the conveniences. Would prefer more selection from the menu though. The only downside of the hotel is that it's hidden at the end of the small alley. You need to walk at least 7 minutes to the main road to catch taxi. I don't recommend to family with young kids. For adult traveler, this is a great hotel. This hotel is close to The Mall, but not close to BTS. Hotel stuff should be able to speak more English.

Out-of-the-way but nice suites”

my wife and i use this as our base hotel and keep coming back after a beach trek. we have not found another hotel yet that can match what thie jolly has to offer. i just have one con; the beds are hard. however, this seems to be the standard in 3 star and under hotels. but, if you wanted a place to stay for a long time, these are suites with table and chairs for dining and a non-equipped kitchenette. also has a small sofa and island counter. nice marble floors. small laundry machines or local laundry lady very close. for agoda's nite hard to beat.

I found this hotel to be unique in Bangkok. The price was amazing low however the hotel was much better than the price you pay. The location is really out with the locals which can give you a different feel to Bangkok outside the tourist areas. This is a couple of temples right by the hotel and a night market near there too. The rooms were large with balconies. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well as well. The shower produces lots of hot water and good pressure as well. I really got alot more from this hotel than I expected when I booked it.

Nice suites ”

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice big pool and fitness center. Very exclusive spa. Conveniant,safe parking in enclosed hotel area that is gate-guarded 24 hrs. Every suite has a seperate balcony. No carpeting, but all floors are beautiful marble tile. Nice closets and drawer space. I like that the shower/(small) tub area, toilet area, and vanity are all separated. Always good A/C. A nice place to stay.

My wife and I stay here every time we visit Bangkok. As it’s very convenient to many places. 3 minutes walk from Taladphlue BTS . Walking 7 minutes to The Mall. It is the big shopping mall with supermarket and foodcourt. I recommend all travelers to stay here. Don’t forget to book the spa here so that you can enjoy and relax during afternoon after checkout and do spa and massage before lunch. Their Buffet Dimsum “All you can eat” is really superb and worthy. It’s only 495฿ net/person. It’s taste like hong kong style. All staffs here are very helpful and friendly. We will come back again as usual.

nice enough hotel”

stayed in that particular area as i had to get to thonburi trainstation early in the morning. locationa little obscure, make sure you have the hotel phone number and the taxi driver can call and find it easily. there are good markets and heaps of food stalls within 5 minute walk, also a bts station not far. good location really and as said, very large room, friendly staff, large comfortable bed. would stay there again no problems. was good to see a part of bangkok i probably wouldnt normally stay. i think the area would be worth exploring more.

Great hotel for the price”

As usual, a nice stay at the Jolly. A quiet area set back from most of the street. This was our first stay on the side of the hotel beside a small street. With the air conditioning running, very little street noise. Under building parking with 2 elevators.

Nice suites for the price”

my wife and i have stayed here before and it is always a nice experience. it is a very well maintained and clean hotel of suites for a good price. a little out-of-the-way for sight seeing, but taxi's and tuk tuks are always available. it has a separate beautiful spa building and big clean pool. also, a big fitness center. there is a mall and night market within walking distance. hotel restaurant is very good too.

Great Choice, Affordable price with Best Service ”

my first time here. very impress with all staffs attitude. well prepared for all my extra requirements. this hotel is not a five stars brand new hotel but everything is well function and clean. ample space for parking lot. the elevator is a bit small but clean. very near to a temple but very close to the mall shopping center. great spa and swimming pool with sauna. most important thing that all of us love here very much is their chinese restaurant(meiyuan). dimsum available at lunch and dinner. i can not tell the difference with my lunch at hong kong week ago during my vacation. i reccomend you guys to feel good iike me now. i will stay here again for sure if there is a chance.

Perfect great value for money”

newly renovated room super clean. Everything is really good. I love the bedding quality. It is so soft and clean very comfortable. The restaurant is also very good we had dim sum there. Peking Duck very delicious too. I booked a spa package for my wife on the nextday before we chk-out. She really enjoy relaxing with politeness peace and calm environment with no comments, everything is perfect especially the aroma spa course is very nice. We will come back again for sure.

Stayed here many times. Big spacious rooms, all marble tile floors. Good separate shower. Off street parking. Nice restaurant. Beautiful spa building seperate from hotel. Big pool. My only complaint is the beds are hard, but for the money I compromise.

Good Value for the Money”

For the money spent, this place exceeded my expectations. The 2 bedroom suite was very spacious. Old, but spacious! The pool was big, with a "kiddie area". A BTS station is really close to the hotel, but the hotel was hard to find driving to it! The one onsite restaurant had a limited selection and there are only local Thai "restaurants" near by. We stayed here because of the price/room size and I would stay here again under the same conditions.

Easy walk to BTS sky train no need to connect to different BTS line for going to city center such as Siam and Silom. near by 7-eleven and shopping mall. Room is just renovated clean and comfortable bed. Big pool and spa is a plus. very good price.

nice room, large balcony, close to the mall”

i only stayed here for one night so that i could get to the thai teacher's license exam easily; it was well located for that reason. it is far back from the main road so even my corner room was very quite. the room was large and comfortable; the toilet and shower are separated which is a nice feature. the hotel has a nice restaurant but the prices seemed a bit high; but it only a 10 minute walk to a large mall with lots of choices.

the room is just renovated. clean and free wifi. near sky train conveniently to get to the city. nearby convenient store, food and shopping mall. also great spa and pool. great value for the price. will stay again.

Nice hotel, hard beds”

We have stayed here many times in the past 4 years. There is a nice big pool, a nice fitness center and a beautiful spa. Only one downside, the beds are a little hard, as are so many in Thailand hotels. Close to BTS station. Close to "The Mall" for some western food restaurants.

Okay but has a potential to do better”

The pic of a hotel exterior isn't correct presentation of the hotel where rooms are. The pic is of two of the buildings in same compound but isn't for guest stay. One is shutdown and the other one is for events. The hotel room (with balcony) was really good size and everything was in a working order. The hotel is on the west of the river while majority touristic sites are in the east so you have got to travel to the other side either by taxi (easy by Uber equivalent Grab) or by an overground air conditioned train BTS Sky train as named. The BTS station is easy 5 min walk. There is a self serviced really good washing machine laundry store on same street. We didn't use their other restaurant and swimming pool section was being refurbished. It may help both the guests and the staff is staff at the desk can converse in better English to avoid misunderstanding and frustration. This hotel has the infrastructure but isn't prepared well for international tourism nor has the expected sense of hospitality and welcoming in a tourist city like Bangkok.
