Great value clean hotel in the middle of the Khaosan/Rambuttri action”
We've stayed in eight different hotels in the Khaosan/Rambuttri area, and Sleep Withinn is the best of the "not the cheapest but close to it" price range. To have a rooftop pool in this area for this price is pretty great. We were allocated a room that had a big window looking out to a beer garden with live music happening until 4am. We would have loved this ten years ago, but sadly we have started to get old - so at 2am with our room literally vibrating and us struggling to get to sleep, we asked the front desk if we can move and they immediately gave us a room in the quieter part of the hotel (blessedly silent, with no noise bleed). The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and amazingly well located. The pool is great and a great break from the hustle of Bangkok.

Sometimes noise at night, bit overal a very pleasant stay. Rooftop pool was refreshing but most of the times fully occupied by other guests.

Exceptional”
The hotel is super close to Khao San road and easy enough to get a taxi from to get to other areas. It is walking distance to the Grand Palace which was handy. The only downside is if you’re in a room that faces the street, you will hear noise until at least midnight. However that goes with anywhere in that area and we generally didn’t have a problem as we were out!

Trying to say we did not pay”
I have just received an email saying I did not pay. This is what I wrote to Agoda Payment was made by Michael cash on desk. Had he not paid he would not have received his key. Nor would he have got his passport back if payment was not made. What I am very angry about is the hotel have contacted booking.com which we were booked with and said the hotel was going to take money out of my husbands credit card. This is unacceptable. Please sort this out. The booking was made for Michael Mysiw by me. He paid. I am not responsible for this. I am also very angry at the hotel for saying they would debit my husbands card. Michael had two bookings. Twice they are saying he had not paid. Seems strange as there was a day between both booking. This is unacceptable and I wonder who pocketed the money. Room keys in this hotel are only issued on payment for the room and either a deposit or passport handed in as insurance against damage. Passport was used and returned. Can you please sort this out.

We stayed 1 night in this hotel It is super close to the Khao san road ( 1 street away) with lots of bars and street food around. Everything is in walking distance. We had a room on the 5th floor Not aimed at the Main Street and it was quiet even tho there was party all night. I think if you stay in a room aimed towards the Main Street you might not get much sleep ;) The hotel staff was friendly and we even moved our room because the fridge was not working and she gave me a new room twice without complaint The rooftop pool was amazing but there were only a few sun beds with shade available Would definitely stay again

Pros: The location was good right in the middle of the night street activity. Staff wad friendly and helpful. Room was clean and airconditioning worked well. Cons: very noisy until 1:30 am so hard to sleep.

too much chlorine...”
Pros: - VERY CLOSE to food stalls, convenience stores and restaurants. - clean and spacious rooms and halls. (the halls smelled so fresh 27/7) - close to KhaoSan Rd., Grand Palace, Wat Arun and tour operators. - friendly and accommodating staff. - SWIMMING POOL!!! Cons: - you can hear the noise from the parties downstairs. (esp. during weekends) - pool has TOO MUCH CHLORINE. OVERALL: We spent most of our time swimming actually.. yes the solution was too much but it was okay (tolerable). We had a good stay and I LOVE THE PLACE. 😊♥

was my second time staying here an once again was pleased. the staff always so pleasant an nice (even when we weren't due to lost bags, sunbaked or jet lagged) an helpful , my room once again was very clean an smelled nice an had access to little balcony where we could people watch the people overflow from koh san to our road, lots of good restaurants close ,an the pool on the roof provides a nice place to beat mid april afternoon heat lol. koh san is one block over if you want. only one small issue i had was that because its so close to koh san that people will be drinking an having a good time playing loud toonz till 2am little hard when ya got to get up at 5am for a bus lol ...nothing a pair of earplugs didn't fix. all an all i would easily recommend sleep with inn , they have always done right by us

You can’t fault the location, but felt unwelcome. ”
Fantastic location. Next road to khaosan, so you have all the party within steps when you want it but somehow the hotel is quiet for sleeping. The road is a party walking street with market and full of pop up street bars selling beer and food after 6pm, and is basically an extension of Khaosan but just a little bit more sedate with heaps of restaurants and not so much thumping music. It is 30 seconds to Khaosan when you want it. It is very clean and the pool is great. However, the staff are bordering on outright rude (not the housekeeping ladies who were lovely). We stepped up all smiles to check in and the staff were miserable, arked instructions and snatched the passport. Maybe they were just having a bad day. In the room the first page you open in the compendium folder of is a list of how much everything single thing will cost if you damage it, incl the sink. Just a bad atmosphere that lasted the 4 day visit. If you can ignore the general attitude then it is a great choice.

Value for money. Uses key for room instead of card(not sure if this is safe). Room is comfortable and clean. Bathroom shower head might need maintenance. Location is superb.
