Cool and comfortable”

Cool gallery hotel, excellent staff. Nimman Street is the artsy part of Chiang Mai so many cafes, pubs, bistros, etc. Recommend Ristr8o Cafe on Nimman Soi3, superb coffee, food and atmosphere. Room was clean and basic. Most of the hotel is stone and wood so only downside is that sometimes other guests would be too loud in the hallways, talking and slamming doors. The neighborhood is quiet at night even with all the restaurants/pubs. Close to airport, 15 mins by taxi. To most of the city center attractions also quite close 15-20 mins. Best way to travel is by the red pickup-truck taxis, you have to negotiate but usually reasonable price.

beautiful...clean room but no lift”

If you want to stay in art gallery and live near Nimmanhemin road in Chiangmai this hotel is one of good choices. Hotel decoration like art gallery, clean room and the position near night life place (also near good coffee shop "Ristretto"). The room was clean and quite comfortable but no elevator then don't take lots of alcohol because you must walk pass the stair to your room hahaha.

Cute hotel in a nice neighborhood”

1 Nimman Gallery hotel was a cute little hotel located near plenty of quaint restaurants and cafes. The triple room was big with two TVs to boot. The beds were comfortable the bathroom was always clean when we came back. The staff was usually nice. They also let us check in early after arriving from bangkok at 9am!There was a girl behind the front desk in the afternoon who was always so nice and patient-- she helped us book a motorbike and tours. She was always had a smile ready for us when we got back in the evenings. The staff in the morning though were pretty moody-- no smiles, rolling of eyes, she always looked pissed off and unwilling to help. Another tiny problem we encountered were stairs-- I sprained my foot right before heading to CM and we were unfortunate enough to get the 3rd floor. It was a bit of a struggle coming and going- I wish they offered to move us to the triple room in the 2nd floor. All in all, it was still another nice stay in Chiang Mai. Hopefully all staff members of the hotel will be like the lady behind the front desk in the afternoon. If you have trouble climbing stairs though, this hotel isn't for you.

Perfect”

Great!...like always. just consider that it is the second time for me in Chiang Mai and second time here at Nimman, I just want this hotel. Never thought to look for another. Great location for food, shopping, caffes, next to the road, which means good for transportation, but yet not noisy. I suggest this hotel!

Heart of Nimman Area”

No elevator. Great location. If you want to come to Chiang Mai, the Nimman area is a great place to stay.

Great Location, Good Staff”

Overall, great stay. I forgot my SLR camera in one of the rooms for a few days and they were honest enough to save it for me. The design of the hotel is great and has character. The location is great, very trendy area. Staff were friendly and accommodating, but English could be a little better (I had no problems, but exclusive English speakers may have trouble). Unfortunately, I got stuck on a first floor room overlooking the interior of the hotel, which wasn't great, but it wasn't a deal-breaker.

Convenient and centrally located”

It was an enjoyable stay. I thought it had great value for money for the style of the hotel and its convenience location. The hotel and like its title did have that aesthetic of a gallery. Interesting design of the place, clean and friendly staff. It was walking distance to food and restaurants and centrally located.

nice designed hotel”

Hotel was new and well designed, room was clean and comfortable, good location at nimman but there is no much more. We believe we can find more better hotel with this price. No much choice of breakfast, it was so simple with instant 3in1 coffee, we couldn't take it, we went out to buy coffee from Ristretto (thanks god it is so close to the hotel).

Convenient n clean”

I have stayed here for 5 nights. This hotel located soi1 at Nimman. There r a lot of cafe n restaurant and shops. I don need breakfast so I didn't request it. The room is comfortable n clean. There r free 2 bottles of water for a day. But there is no lift, so I was hard to take my luggages.

Great and satisfied stay! ”

Great location. Close to Maya Mall, across is the Nimman Building with restaurants and some boutiques. Staff were very helpful with the tour packages and getting taxi. They also allowed us to leave our bags while we did the elephant tour on our last day. But there was one staff on the our last day who was there in the morning, she was unfriendly and kinda snob. All good overall as the other two staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating. Highly recommended for travellers who want comfort and great location.

Great location, ”

It has few spots within walking distance such as the mall, massage parlors, and drinking spots. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Some people complain of not having an elevator, but that didn't bother me as I only have one small luggage. Secondly, I didn't really need a view, just a place to stay. Sure is a value for money place when visiting Chiang Mai. I would recommend.

there are so many things surrounded nimman soi 1. so, this hotel has the great location. the staff is nice and helpful. comparing to other hotels at the same star level, 1 nimman offers pretty good breakfast.

I came 2 days in Chiangmai for business trips , i choose to stay because the design and concept (gallery design) after that i fall in love with everything of here! (clean, comfortable, nice staff and good location) ...i'll stay here again and again.

the place is cute and clean,and decorated with great material and cool style. easy to walk around in Nimman road. Worth what i pay, and definitely will come back again!

value for money, in good location though not in the middle of Nimman street around the area was packed with good rest, coffee shop, etc room was clean, but toilet sometimes can have some bad smell from the pump, but it's not too bad.

New air condition, clean room and good service”

Before went to this hotel, I read review that some review mentioned about air condition not cool. But when I visited, my room have change to new air condition that cool.

Good location, clean with acceptable price!!! ”

This hotel is one of the good choice as it's located in a good location, eventhough it's not at the center of Nimmanhemin but you can catch red bus at anytime. The toilet is clean. The room is nice but a bit dark. However, the hotel doesn't have elevator so please be prepared to carry your luggage to the high floor.

Very nice in nice neighborhood”

I originally booked a very cheap hotel in the old quarter. What a mistake for me. I couldn't stay. This place is in a neighborhood perfectly suited for more mature travelers, especially women. It is a five minute ride to downtown. It is a very cheap ride on one of the shared taxis. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for me. If you go soon and you need anything Add can take care of it. She is absolutely wonderful. I felt verysafe at this hotel and the neighborhood was fun too.

Great location, great value for money”

Overall I think the hotel is really value for money. It was well designed and interesting with its collection of antiques and the room was comfortable enough. The location is also great for a stay in Chiangmai since it was near great cafes, good food places, and interesting shopping spaces like think park. Only complaint perhaps is that the bed somehow seem to give me backaches.
