Good budget hotel”

Spent 3 nights here for the first time @Chiang Mai, Hotel is easy-decorate feel warm and quiet. Room is clean and well-care than expected. Hotel locate near Wua-Lai Saturday walking street, otherwise you may need a car for traveling.

Very good value and pretty near the airport.”

Our flight arrived late in Chiang Mai, so we had decided in advance to stay somewhere near the airport. It cost us 100 bhat to get a taxi to this hotel. We were very satisfied with the level of comfort and service for a relatively low cost. Staff was friendly. The room was very clean and modern. It is not particularly near any tourist areas, but it is a comfortable choice to stay when first arriving in Chiang Mai.

Suitable and good facilities”

We're the first time to chiang mai, this hotel easy to find and modern wire luxaury style facilities in the room is good just only some smell with the air condition the location is simply and nearby walking street which we can find the local restaurant quite to sleep and staff is good communicate.finally this is the budget hotel in chiangmai

Great Location”

The room was very clean and spacious. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is great since it's close to the airport and Saturday Market (Wua Lai Street).

Great value and great staff”

The B2 hotels are great for their reliability. You know what you are going to get and I have stayed in many different B2 locations. I like this one best because of its location. If you are wanting to stay there on the weekend you better book early. They are usually booked full.

Neat and clean rooms”

Rooms are neat, and great location for a Saturday night stay. Take a tut-tut to Chiang Mai Gate which is at the other end of the wualai market, take a tour along wualai road, and come back to the hostel in an arm's length. Some walls of the room are left unpainted possibly on purpose, but there are some signs of carelessness in the unpainted part of the walls. The reception cannot speak good English which is another defect.

Good Hotel, Good Location”

At first I thought it was far from the town but it isn't. Walking distance to Wua Lai walking street (Weekend) and very near to some temples.

Just because of its price”

The price of B2 Thippanate is great. Due to its cheap price, you had better have not very high standard for this hotel. During the four nights stay, I asked for once clearance because some mess on the sheet. However, I checked the sheet after the day, the sheet wasn't changed and the original spot's still there. And no shampoo refilled. I think there's big room for improvement of this clearance job. The location is also far away from the downtown, so this hotel fits more for people with a car or transportation.

More than what I expect ...”

booked and stayed for 5 nights to cover my chiang mai trip. the location is good as it's only 10 minutes walk to the town center but of course if you're planning on walking, you might want to get some place in the town center. on the other side, walking down south to old cultural center for kantok dinner is only about 5mins. room is nice and new, but bear in mind drinking water provided is not complimentry (30baht per bottle). staffs are weak at english but still very polite when i try to communicate with them. recommended but do plan for transport if you don't plan to walk much.

Nice hotel”

I had stay in B2 for one night, 20 mins walk to sunday night maket. A bit far from old town and near airport . But the hotel quite new. Value for money.

Not too hard to find and near the Saturday Market”

The hotel is located on Thippanate road nearby the Saturday night market. The room is ordinary but the thing i think it's not the hospitality standard is service mind of receptionist. She didn't say hello or smile to customer when they check-in or out. They should approve this point. other things are good but for me no more B2

Good budget hotel with modern deco rooms.”

Recently built boutique apartment style hotel in good location, near airport, 10 minute walk to Chiang Mai Gate but red songthaews continually pass the hotel door if required. Clean well maintained rooms. Friendly staff. No breakfast but all day resturants nearby. Excellant value

Not too far from Thapae Gate. There is everything in line with B2 standard.

We had a lovely stay with b2. staff were helpful and we felt right at home. Location is a bit out thoigh, takes 15mins to get to old city by foot.

nice hotel but not for first timer to chiang mai”

When we were first checking in the gentleman at the front desk was really rude, actually looked like a front desk manager. But as we got into the room it was very pleasant with a nice view. If this is your first time to chiang mai I would not recommend it because it is definitely out of the main area.

Clean and comfortable room”

Nice setup in the room, flat screen tv, fridge, lights that you can control from the bed, large shower room and all that for a reasonable price (discounted on Agoda). Will stay there again.
