Great Service”

Good location on the edge of the old city. The staff lined up treks and tours for us very easily. One time we asked for an extra sheet because our room wasn't cleaned properly and apologized several times and did an amazing job cleaning it the next time, including installing a mosquito net. Great people.

Nice family run geust house”

I really enjoyed the hospitality at Baan Pim and the place is a 10 minute walk to the Night Market

Cute little family run hotel but a bit rundown”

We had a good experience at this cute little family run hotel, but I think the location lead us to walk quite a bit more than expected. It is on the northeast corner outside corner of the Old City area with more of the action being near the southwest corner. But a tuk tuk is easy enough to snag. Our bathroom was quite run down with lots of mosquitos and the beds were quite lumpy, we still had great sleeps though. The air conditioner worked great.

the owner was extremely friendly and the property was beautiful. Great value for price! I would absolutely stay here again!

Great place”

We booked 2 nights there but were very happy to extend for another 4. The staff (mother and daughter) are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very cleaned and nicely decorated as well as comfortable. They provide fast laundry service and tour booking (but they don't harrass you to buy them). I would recommend it without hesitation.

Nice little hotel”

Very good value for the cost although the bathroom in my room looked a little tired and could have done with a makeover.

Lovely big rooms but cheaper available”

Good sized rooms in a great location. There are other rooms at other hostels available for less money though if you look hard enough. Rent a scooter from here, great service at cheap prices! Reception did not try and sell us tours and happily let us store our bags.

Nice place with friendly staff”

The room was a beautiful thai style with a little garden balcony. The toilet wasn't in the best working condition and the bathroom was a little less beautiful than the room and balcony, but the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice place.

It was okay for short stay.”

The room was just okay, and there weren't enough plugs to charge electronic devices. Also, there was a lot of noise from outside in the morning, loud enough to wake you up.

Each to their own”

They had double booked my room and tried to blame Agoda. Then I received some attitude from the reception person. They told me to go somewhere else. After explaining that I had come all the way from Australia and had a paid receipt with me, they offered me a dirty fan room with the worst bed in Thailand. They did put me into my air-cond room the next day, which had a better bed. The balcony was locked and unusable for the first 2 days. The room had a mosquito issue. The batteries were flat in the remote controls for the tv and the air-con. The shower was very disappointing and the bathroom not clean. I left after 5 days, having booked and paid for 10 days. Then the reception person wanted to argue with me, when I said they can keep my 5 days paid room, when I was leaving. I didn't expect a lot for the price and I received less than expected. I would not recommend this hotel.

Adequate”

I found the pillows harder than rock, and the first room I stayed in had a family of two inch roaches living in the bathroom. The gentleman manning the reception area did move me to another room, which was free of man eating bugs. The pillows were still like concrete so used a pillow wrapped in a cloth.

better hotels for same money, never stay there ”

the only good thing about this hotel is its location, and free wifi in the rooms. it is in dire need of a makeover, the beds are terrible and the worst mattress in all of thailand, and that is saying something? the shower has a light switch and power point in it , with a plastic bag stuck over it to keep the water out, incredibly dangerous and very stupid. whilst the staff were friendly and had good english skills, there is no way i would ever stay there again. do not book this hotel at this time!

Small guesthouse with pleasant staff”

Small guesthouse with pleasant staff. Free wifi a plus. Cockroaches in the room not a plus. Was upgraded to a better larger room when rooms became available. But same problem with cockroaches that come from the bathroom drain. Remember to close the bathroom door. Will probably not stay there again.

Bad experience”

It was a terrible experience for me. I'm not impressed by everything in the room and a bathroom with one advantage is cheaper for a room in a tourist area.

small room, budget guesthouse”

Generally a budget guesthouse with small room. There is a small balcony for the room but was locked and the curtain couldn't not shield the sunlight during daytime, causing the room too bright.

My stay at Baan Pim”

Our room wasn't confirmed though we had a booking. Though we offered to cancel, they didn't refund. Room had no charging point, A/C was ineffective, and the room was very small.

Just OK”

You get what you pay for or less. The service was ok but the cleanliness was awful. The hotel is sure showing its age too. The bed & pillows are increadible hard/firm.

Ok location, good staff but room inadequent”

Staff are excellent here, friendly, knowledgeable and easy going. However, the bathroom is dirty and the bed and pillows rock hard which is can taxing after a long day worth of sight seeing.

Disgusting”
