Good location for early flight from airport”

We stopped at the Chateau Chiangmai Hotel & Apartment the night before catching a flight from Chiang Mai airport. The hotel was situated towards the airport. The hotel was nice, clean and spacious if a little basic. The rooms were spacious with fridge and t.v. Unfortunately we left before breakfast so could not sample the restaurant.

Old Hotel in town for economy budget.”

If you don't mind or stick with well-deco designed one. This old style hotel in good location near downtown Chiangmai is suitable for you. The reasonable price of room for economic travellers + free breakfast is worth to visit. The standard room is wider than the others compared with the same catagory hotel. The service is good. There are staffs assisting for luggage carrying to your room while the others in the same category don't (the other hotel, you have to carry your own luggage by yourself.) Since the hotel age is very old so please don't expect of good looking facilities such as very old utilities in the room. The bathroom is not well-cleaning. But it's acceptable for its price. Another good thing is there are a lot of plugs for your devices charging.

Not too far from Chiang Mai Airport”

Actual location is like a radius from Chiang Mai airport, not that close to the airport but the comfortable for transportation. A little bit far away from city but this is an advantage for me for just stay in a quiet location for the early morning flight. Not too good but reasonable!!

The hotel is situated beside klongchonpathan near to Chiangmai university , it is very convenient to go everywhere . There are a lot of restaurant around and a lot of interesting place to visit. Even though the hotel is quite old but room size is big and not bad condition. Room include breakfast which has lot of variety of food. Room price is very low compare to everything you will get .

Poor location, but germ hotel”

Hotel itself was great, nice and clean rooms!! Wifi fast and a good breakfast! Location it is very far out, no resturants around. Other than the Mexican grill like 2min walk, best place for food. But long way from the old city and taxis did not know were it was.

Best with your own transport”

Great place to stay if, like me, you have your own transport. Carpark under the building with easy access from it to the lift to the rooms. Very (almost too) quiet but a great place to base yourself since it's just a little out of town and easy to get from the hotel to anywhere avoiding traffic!

practical hotel”

large clean air conditioned rooms, great value for money, ideal as somewhere to get some rest before a flight, or get some work done,not mutch near by, staff very helpfull and certious. good reasterant oposit, which is popular with locals.also rooms have hudge beds, mini bar and all the extras you would expect.

Some is good some is bad”

actually, I booked a wrong date but staffs were very kind , they changed the date for me and allowed me to stay the room is not good, i expected more than this. this is like a very old apartment. lift is pretty old , breakfast is good taste but not so clean, I saw some fly. the hotel decoration is like a chinese style with very big vase. well, if you have no car, it's a bit hard to come because it's not in the city center.

We arrived to the hotel very late but the reception gave us a warm welcome. Room is big & clean. free Wi-Fi internet.

Adequate facilities/ good price but old hotel”

The disappointment is the Room/Bathroom and general hotel condition is very old, The towels provided are old/grayish white! The free breakfast food is good enough for including in the low price of the hotel room, but you could fine the same or better , at the hotel next door. The location is also the problem .if you do not have car, it is hard to travel around the city since it is remotely located from tourist areas.

This is a large hotel in need of renovation, but ideal to stay in if you have an early morning or late evening flight.

verry poor hotel outside of any central place chaing mai location is in the oposit side of the airport so its not make any benfit to rich the airport , the room is verry basic and and seems to be verry old

Everything was fantastic. The room was spacious and easy to reach anywhere. Needed some soap, though.

Decent value close to airport”

Adequate room and service nothing bad to say, breakfast was buffet style enjoyable. Nice restaurant across road with live band.
