Convenient location and lovely design concept”

This is a very convenient place to stay if you plan to tour around Chiang Mai particularly their old city. The old temples are located within the old city where this hotel is located. It is as well a walking distance to the Sunday Market where you can bargain for cheap stuff. The hotel has its own transportation which you can arrange for transfer to and fro the airport. They also have a desk for tour packages (however we don't know whether that they have reasonable price as we have our tours book before we came). They also have their own spa. Two small rooms with own toilet. Unfortunately, men and woman are separated. So my husband and I were not together. I suggest they should have a couple room, atleast we can talk while having our massage. As for the room, i really liked it very much. The room is spacious and the colour is pleasant (our room was apple green). From what I understand, each room has a different colour as they are a boutique hotel. But we were not able to choose also as we were booking it online. For the food, they have a free breakfast but you cannot order any food after breakfast as their kitchen closes. But not a problem, you just have to step outside and you can find all the food you need. It is very convenient. It very near to a wet market also. For us, we didn't stay much also in the hotel as we have booked tour packages also. So we usually leave after breakfast and come back after dinner.

Lovely hotel & location but disappointing rooms”

Eurana is a beautiful hotel with a great location in the Old City. The area was nice and quiet, but just a short walk or tuk-tuk ride to anything we wanted to visit. The staff at Eurana was extremely helpful and accommodating. They also helped us to plan all of our excursions in Chiang Mai with reliable and well-priced companies. The room itself was a bit disappointing, though perhaps only because it had been labeled as "superior" when really it was just average. Everything was clean and in good order, but we had a slight problem with mosquitos in the hallway that kept trying to accompany us into the room. (This was easily managed once we had awareness of the problem.) Breakfast was quite extensive with a mix of both thai and western dishes. In addition there are several tasty restaurants just across the street, as well as great places for massage. All in all we were quite satisfied with Eurana.

we enjoyed our stay at the eurana boutique hotel. located in a quiet side street in a lovely section of chiang mai, it was within reasonable walking distance to most of the famous wats and area attractions. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. nearby us were laundry and spa services which we used satisfactorily. the room was clean with ample space and the shower was hot. we were upgraded to a suite so were able to enjoy a corner room with an outdoor patio. their restaurant had a nice breakfast buffet that was included with our upgraded room.

Wonderful experience”

My daughter and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Eurana Boutique Hotel. The room was immaculate, the location was absolutely PERFECT for Chiang Mai, and the staff tried to be as accommodating as possible. The only drawback was the staff's limited knowledge of English. While my daughter and I tried speaking as much Thai as we could, we were surprised to find some of the up-front staff void of any English skills! While everyone was extremely helpful and polite, if they could be coached in some basic English phrases, it might be helpful. We visited three places in Thailand, and Chiang Mai is a place we could definitely return to again.

Great little place”

We stayed in a Superior room with a full/queen size bed (room 201Y) from September 7 - 11, 2009. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was within walking distance of restaurants, night clubs and shopping, however a taxi or tuk tuk would be quicker for the night market and bazaar. The buffet style western breakfast was delicious - very high quality food. The layout of the hotel was very nicely done with rooms exiting to outdoor walkways (much like a motel). The room only had a handle lock on the door, however we felt very safe at all times. It was very quiet at night and soothing listening to the artifical waterfall in the lobby below our room. The furnishings in the room seem dated and the bed had a slight sag but still was rather comfortable. The room had a musty smell to it however after a few minutes it was no longer noticeable. Our laptop connected fine to the wifi however the connection was somewhat slower than average. The air conditioner worked very well. Overall we had an excellent stay at the Eurana Boutique Hotel and would stay there again on our next trip. Great value for the money.

very reasonably priced with excellent service”

we had a lovely stay at the eurana boutique hotel. it is well located in the old town and the rooms were reasonable. we only had breakfast at the hotel but it was worth it giving a good start to the day.the thai dishes at breakfast were every day diffrent and the continental part of the breakfast was very nice too. the staff are very friendly with nothing being too much trouble for them ie advice on trips, making phone calls for you etc.and they always had a smile. cons: swimming pool had far too much chlorine giving us sore eyes. we told the staff this and they promised to rectify it. it was very difficult to dry hand washing in the room but the hotel had a good laundry service

Very nice hotel, great rooms”

I stayed at the Eurana hotel with my girlfriend and we both loved it. The rooms are very modern with stylish and new decoration, cute enough pool for a cool down, the staff were very friendly. The location on the boundary of the Old City makes for the perfect starting point for venturing round the city. The gym is a bit of a joke with only two, very outdated, machines (one with a max. weight of 90 kg. and the other a max. of 80 kg :) and the room service took a very long time... Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. We will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Chiang Mai.

Comfortable, clean,quiet and relaxing...”

Due to flight delays, I arrived very late, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and understanding. The whole layout of the hotel, rather like a kind of indoor garden,was soothing; I think "peaceful" describes the general atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, and internet access was quick and easy. The hotel was quite full, but it never looked "busy", since the rooms were welcoming, and most visitors were happy to spend time in privacy. The small swimming pool was never busy either, allowing for plenty of time to cool down from the intense summer temperatures outside. In the lobby, there was an information center where you can find out what tousist activities are available, how to get there and how much it would cost.(Several activities included convenient pick-ups from the hotel itself.) Outside, there was no hassle from the tuk-tuk drivers; in fact they were invariably helpful, too. The Eurana is more expensive than backpacker hotels, but from a Western perspective, it is still very cheap and excellent value for money. Next time I go to Chiang Mai, I will be more than happy to stay there again.

Eurana boutique hotel is quite well located in the old city, a walking distance from the night bazaar. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are decent sized, and very clean. Swimming pool not very big but quite a plus when you need relaxing after a day of activities. Although not included in the price the breakfast buffet is quite impressive (asian or european). Overall a very lovely boutique hotel with budget prices.

Charming hotel with a great location”

My mother and I recently stayed at the Eurana Hotel while traveling in Chiang Mai. The hotel's excellent location made it easy for us to walk around the city and to bars and restaurants at night. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast had a fair mix of Thai and Western dishes; as I live in Thailand, I was very happy to see the good choice of Western dishes available! The rooms are a bit small but well-decorated and very clean. Overall, we were very happy with Eurana and would certainly recommend it!

nice hotel for a few nights”

its a value for most other places but you can find cheaper in chiang mai. i would still consider staying here again. the breakfast is good, the room clean and comfortable. they went out of their way to provide good internet through out the hotel. the pool is clean but cold. staff is nice and did their best to help us with any need we might have from parking to borrowing a bucket (thats another story). the hotel is close to the night life in cm, which means you are near the night market, near the bar scene, and near things like the cooking schools, but it also means you arent far from the seedier side of chiang mai. eurana is a nice oasis from the dirt that can overwhelm some westerners, even if you pay a little more for it.

Pleasant place to stay in Chiang Mai”

This is a very pleasant hotel, conveniently located within the old walled city, making it easy to visit several temples and markets. You can walk to the night bazaar or get there faster by tuktuk or songthaew (see Tip). We had a superior room, which was a bit small but perfectly comfortable. I appreciated having hot and cold water in the wash basin and an enclosed shower stall with marble floor. Our room was remarkably quiet at night, with virtually no street or other noise. I have stayed several times at a good guesthouse on the same lane as the Eurana, where the chief shortcoming is that there's often noise at night from the street or surrounding residences, but there was no such problem in the room we had at the Eurana. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. We found the in-room safe to be very small and inconveniently placed on the floor (of the closet), making access a bit uncomfortable. My laptop computer will usually just barely squeeze into the small hotel safes, but the one at the Eurana was too small to take it. Breakfast was included in the price of the room, and we found it to consist of a fair variety of the usual: toast, pancakes, French toast, etc., plus fresh fruit, etc. My wife, who is Thai, requested Thai "porridge" one morning, which was readily prepared for her; unfortunately, she found it not worth requesting again. All in all, though, our experience at the Eurana was a pleasant one.

Eurana hotel just became one of my favorite hotels and made the wonderful trip to Chiang Mai complete 1. The hotel's location is great, within the old city, a walking distance to all the beautiful wats around, close to the Sunday market and to many great places to eat or do massage 2. The rooms are a bit small but very comfy and clean, the shower is big and nice 3. The staff are very polite and helpful, always greeting with a smile. when we checked out a bit late they didn't give us hard time or charge money 4. The hotel lobby is lovely and clean and inviting with a little waterfall and fish pond cons: 1. Restaurant is expensive for Chiang Mai's prices but very good 2. There is an old printer that makes noises during the day and night, didn't disturb our sleep though

Great locationw quiet ambience friendly staff”

the eurana boutique hotel is located in a good area in chiang mai, close to the night bazaar, close to the market, and good restaurants....we can choose to walk or take a tuk tuk wherever we need to go...the shopping is good at the sunday bazaar....the pool is nice and the breakfast is generous and good....many of the tourists that stay here have favourable things to say about the hotel. we extended our stay here as we really are comfortable....rooms may be small for some people but we are good with it.

Great hotel with friendly staff ”

we really enjoyed our stay at eurana boutique hotel in chang mai. the staff was very courteous and the rooms were cozy. the food was great and the rates for the rooms were reasonable. there was a pool and a small workout station which we used frequently. we even stayed there another two nights after the trek that the staff booked for us.

we liked the Eurana boutique hotel. The rooms were nice decorated and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very romantic atmosphere. Everything worth a visit in Chiang Mai was near the hotel.

Conveiently located inside the old town ”

Eurana Boutique Hotel is located in an alley of the Chiang Mai old town, but within walking distance we found everything we needed, including different types of restaurants, coffee shops, massage parlors, night markets, even the typical Thai food stalls. Transportation by Tuk-Tuk or taxi is easily available at any cornor of streets. I like the free internet access inside the room.

Niciest hotel in this touristy part of Old Town”

This is a large hotel with more "big hotel" amenities than anything else I've found in the Northeast part of Old Town, which is by far my favorite neighborhood in the old city of CM. Moon Maug Soi 7 is the best street, with the best juice bar (Khun Kae's), the best pizza (By Hand) and a great massage place/steam room across from the Artist Cafe (don't remember the name). Also within walking distance is the Blue Diamond, with some of the best healthy baked goods around and a great garden-like eating space, and the Zira spa, which is an upscale spa with very reasonable prices. The breakfast at Eurana is not worth bothering with, but the pool is great, with lots of shade and sun. Also, they will put a topper on your bed to make it softer, as most beds in this part of town are really hard.

Great hotel in great location!”

This hotel is in a great location to plan trips to the outskirts of Chiang Mai (tiger kingdom, elephant farm etc) We arrived quite early to the Eurana hotel, hadn't requested an early check in but to our delight the room was ready and we were very pleased with it. Very spacious room with nice clean bathroom and huge bed. We had a pool view which was great. Pool is very nice and there's always plenty of towels. The night bazaar is a good 15 mins walk from the hotel, but there are plenty of great restaurants and bars you can try along the way! The hotel is just outside the old town and without even going near the night bazaar there's plenty regards night life! We booked some trips & a cookery class through the hotel and the staff here were very helpful and had the best prices around, no ripping people off. Breakfast was a buffet, very tasty.. The usual, tea, coffee, toast, eggs and Asian foods also. Overall very friendly helpful staff & very good value for money. Would recommend this hotel for sure.

Eurana Boutique Hotel smiles in the land of smiles”

Value for money, and a great Agoda deal, made my 8 day stay the best of my visit to Thailand. Can I say that in my opinion Chiang Mai is the Paris of Thailand and the Eurana Boutique Hotel topped it off with its service standards, cleanliness and friendliness which made the 8 days I was with them hassle free and a pleasant experience.
