Cheap, Clean, Comfortable, and Great Location”
Was only looking for a clean, double bed room, with a nice shower / bathroom. Satisfactory and clean. The hot shower however wasn't the best, but I didn't mind so much as i do enjoy cold showers anyway - but im sure thats a big thing for many people.

Friendly staff, great location”
Cha Cha at Indie House was the perfect host. It's a small guesthouse and she stayed up late (or later than unusual) to wait for my arrival. Her English is amazing and she's a great resource for things to do in Chiang Mai. Breakfast is cook,your,own with eggs, rice, soups, juices, and other treats available. The main road Nimman is a short walk away and the immediate area is full of bars, restaurants, and clubs where locals, expats, and travelers gather. That said, it's not quiet at night with a booming (karaoke) bar right across the street that keeps going until about 2am, but in my case I was so tired from traveling that it didn't matter and I fell straight asleep. The soi (lane) is perfectly quiet at all other times of day. All in all, Indie House is a great option if you want to be close to the action around Nimman while staying in a quiet, friendly guesthouse. The old city is accessible by songthoew (red car) about 15 minutes away, maybe more depending on traffic and where you're going.

I planned for 2 but stayed for 6 nights!”
I had such a great stay there. It's very peaceful and quiet (apart from the planes youll hear a few times) and located in what I feel is the best spot in Chiang Mai , the Nimman area. Indie house is at the end of a street bustling with cafés, restaurants and bars. It's set back from the road so it's very relaxing. I slept so well when I was there! Every morning eggs, toast, rice, and an assortment of other items are available for you to cook, it was so nice to make my own breakfast! The rooms are cleaned daily and are simply adorable. Great a/c and tv for midday breaks from the sweltering heat. You are right in the coolest hood of Chiang Mai where there are myriad stores, restaurants and bars accommodating the local and elegant university students. It reminds me of a quainter buenos Aires. I walked to the Old City pretty often , it was about a 25 minute walk to the gate. There are so many red wagons, motos and tuk tuks to take you there though, for just a few dollars. I also preferred the restaurants around Indie, I ate a much needed salad a few blocks away and did my own laundry too! These are the simple things that a 31 year old, lady backpacker enjoys :)

Nice service with friendly guest house staff”
Indie house @Nimman is suitable for the guest who loves to outing because this place is quite small, not good to stay all day as 5 star hotel. Anyway, Indie House @Nimman staff is very friendly, helpful & strong service mind. People who loves coffee, bakery & nightlife would be appreciated this place.

Marvellous Little Guesthouse”
A marvellous little gem of a guest house. The host/owner of Indie house is a sweetheart. He speaks good English and is very helpful and kind. I was fortunate enough to get an upgrade to one of the boutique rooms which was terrific - clean with a very agreeable modern funky design. I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

Lovely staff, Very comfy bed”
Perfect location for those that want to explore Nimman, only here for two nights before flight home and spent a lot of that sleeping. What I can say is that the staff are really lovely people. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept on in my two weeks here after staying at several different hotels and guesthouses. Two free bottles of water and more for 10 baht from the fridge in the reception area which is really handy if you aren't up for going to 711.

Extremely nice play in Nimman”
This little guest house is run by a really nice woman, always ready to help and point you in the right direction. The place is well located close to restaurants and a few bars in the hearth of Nimman. All the major attractions can be reached by foot and, if you want to go up the mountain, the owner will help you bargain for a motorbike that will get delivered to your door.

it located at nimman, so there were lots of bars, club and cafes nearby. they offered very good breakfast, include noodles, rice and eggs. owner always took us pictures, and posted on her facebook. lol she was really helpful, and i wanna stay here again. thx

Every access location with friendly staff. Always on my choice for Nimmanhemin staying. I love how the accommodation is a few steps from the street with 24 hours accessible. The staff is really helpful, would definitely stay over again!

simple but all you need - with great hosts”
nice developing area - with nice bars, massage. simple room (we slept 5 people 2 adults + one kid) but comfortable beds, AC. Local house and setting which was perfect for us. Highly recommend - good value for money. Only break fast which was good.

the hotel is located in the heart of city. The rate is a little bit expensive comparing to guess house. i compare with guess house sine there is no any additional facility in the hotel. also, mo refridgerator in the room (there is a common one at 2nd floor) No elevator. Overall, it is good stay but a little bit expensive i. The area.

not what I EXPECTED”
Not what I expected, eg. was to have free transfer to and from airport. When I called from Singapore was informed that I have to find my own way to the hotel. Also told that the trip from the airport cost only B120. Being my first time in Chiang Mai, I was hoping I can have a stress free arrival. Imagine I hv to find my way around the airport loking for transport and hoping the taxi driver know where the hotel is.. Breakfast was do it yourself.. from making your own coffee to cooking your own eggs. Very dissappointing stay in Indie House.

Nice staffs”
What I like the most for this house is staffs and beagles. The owner of this house is very helpful and lovely. Their beagles, Popcorn and Cola, are super cute. The cons are I found many ants on my bed. Moreover, they let guests cook for breakfast by themselves (I knew before staying) but I think they should provide more ingredients and I had to wait for few guests to finish their cooking bcoz they had only one pan to fry egg and small area to cook. So, my bf and I decided to have breakfast in the restaurant outside instead.
