Most relaxing vacation I've had in a long time!”
we visited jasmine hills with our 5 and 7 year old children, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. our bungalow was beautifully decorated and very good sized, the free breakfast was delicious, the owner and staff very accomodating, and the location (in the hills outside chiang mai) was simply breathtaking. the kids enjoyed going out in the rowboat (which the staff scrubbed clean without our even asking), and my husband and i enjoyed getting a bit of peace and quiet while the kids roamed around exploring. we found plenty to do in the surrounding area (the temple at doi saket, wandering the market, nearby taweechol garden), but, that said, we did have a car, and since we live in chiang mai, we were looking to get out of the city anyway. i think the hotel is best for those who aren't looking to spend a lot of time in the city, but rather would like a beautiful, peaceful place to relax in (or a base from which to trek in the mountains). we will definitely be going back!

What a find! Tranquil and beautiful.”
Jasmine Hills is, quite simply, a tranquil paradise close to Chiang Mai in the small village of Doi Saket. Dolly and Paul, the Malaysian owners were wonderful hosts and especially good with our 6 year old daughter. She loved that she could choose DVDs from the extensive collection in the reception area. Also, Dolly found that she only liked apple juice, which they didn't have......until the next morning as they had gone and bought some especially! Our cabin had a sizeable living area, a good bathroom and bedroom and a lovely veranda next to a river where we whiled away the evenings with a good book and a bottle of wine. The reception/restaurant area is similarly beautiful and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The saltwater pool is small but lovely and the nearby village has an impressive Wat, a Tesco, 7-11 and various little cafes. Peaceful, tranquil and delightful!

Relaxing with an amazing setting”
From the minute Paul and Dolly met us at the airport we knew that we were going to love our stay at Jasmine Hills and we certainly were not disappointed. We specifically chose Jasmine hills for its location and great reviews. We had stayed in Bangkok for a few nights and although we loved the Chiang Mai city experience, we wanted to know that we could escape to the country every evening. Nothing beats the sound of the country as you cool down in the swimming pool in the evenings. We loved seeing the fireflies, hearing the frogs and breathing in the clean air. Dolly arranged scooters for us to rent for the duration of our stay and the mobility made the world of difference. We explored everything, from the city to the rain forests thanks to our "wheels." We have so many wonderful memories of Chiang Mai thanks to our gracious hosts, we will definitely return!

Above and beyond customer service”
Though Jasmine Hills feels targeted more to older couples and families, don't let that stop you from booking this place. Paul and Dolly make this place, as they are the most friendly and helpful owners of a hotel/resort I've encountered. Whether you're looking to book a tour, organise transport or just have a chat, they're more than happy to accomodate. We stayed for 4 nights, and the peaceful gardens and surrounds really worked their magic. After the frantic pace of bangkok and Chiang Mai city, this place was perfect to relax and recharge. Just be warned; if you're the kind of traveller that's looking to do something every day, Jasmine Hills is a bit out of the way, and travel times might detract from the actual hotel itself, which is presented brilliantly and perfect to laze about and enjoy yourself. For those looking to relax at the back end of a holiday, i would recommend this place wholeheartedly; though I'll echo the only negative many people have while staying there: don't make it a short stop and stay for a day or two. Allow some flexibility as you may not want to leave.

Gorgeous villas in a tranquil setting”
Even though it was a last minute decision to get away from the city, Jasmine Hills Lodge turned out to be the highlight of my trip in Chiang Mai. Paul is a warm and thoughtful host who makes you feel at home. I was very impressed by how beautiful the villas were and how peaceful the setting was. It was a great getaway from the city and we wished we had a longer stay at Jasmine Hills. It speaks volumes that this villa is so wonderful that it still inspires me to write a positive review after 2 months (was busy when I first got back). Stay here - you won't regret it! And Paul, we will love to come back again because our stay there has been very special to us. Thanks!

Beautiful hotel in peaceful setting”
I loved staying at Jasmine Hills. Originally I booked for 2 nights but extended it to 4....and would have stayed even longer if I hadn't had to return to work! I enjoyed the style and small size of the hotel, and the attention of the hosts, Dolly and Paul, and the staff. They were all helpful in planning my side trips. One of my side trips was into the city of Chiang Mai itself, which reinforced my decision to stay OUT of town. There are lots of things to do/see in Chiang Mai, but I enjoyed the peace and quiet at Jasmine Hills. It is a plus that bicycles are available for trips into the nearby small town. All in all, I had a wonderful time and highly recommend Jasmine Hill Lodge(unless you are a disco king or queen and then this hotel is NOT for you!).

Beautiful hotel, wonderful owners, great service”
we had a wonderful four-day stay at jasmine hills lodge in november 2010 and could have stayed much longer. it is a 10 mile ride from chiang mai, but it just costs a few baths to take a taxi from city center and you are glad to escape the crazy, loud, but exciting chiang mai for a while. the new owners paul and molly just restarted the hotel, talk excellent english and are wonderful hosts. we just felt like visiting family. we travelled with two little kids during loy kratong and they arranged little floating boats and a little party for the kids, perfect! breakfast was great, the tropical garden with a little pool is beautiful, the stilish villas even have a little kitchen and there is a lot of space between the houses. we hope we will go there sometime again! thank you very much for everyting, paul and dolly!

Tranquil, Heavenly, Wonderful”
This place is unbelievable. I can only describe it as divine. We stayed four days and loved every minute of it. It's not a hotel, it's like a villa. Very nice. Cleaned every day, so comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, water boiler for coffee and tea, excellent breakfast, clean swimming pool, beautiful surroundings, a bathtub, selection of DVDs, super friendly staff, delicious food, the list goes on. The owners, Dolly and Paul, are the friendliest, most congenial people you can imagine. They went out of their way to help us. I would go to this area again just to stay there. It's a bit outside of Chiang Mai, so I'd recommend seeing the city, then coming to relax at Jasmine Hills. You won't regret it.

A taste of peaceful heaven!”
Awesome place run by great staff!!! If you seek tranquility and peace, away from the rat race of town, this place is to 'die for'! Lovely pool, surrounded by abundance of flowering shrubs ,and native bird life. Manage by Dolly and Paul ,who would be the most caring and attentive hosts we have ever encountered! Yes transport essential, we rented a Honda Jazz for 800 baht a day. Great Pitza place adjacent the main gate. Go for a microlight flight at Doi Saket airfield. Indulge at the truly amazing spa complex! Only 20 minutes from Chiang Mai, be sure to dine at the River View Restaurant! In all, we just did not want to leave, amazing quality and value for money!!!

A real taste of rural Chiang Mai”
Jasmine Hills where do you start , we recived a warm welcome from dolly and paul (the owners) and soon settled in to our house (mali sorn). The site is well set out with a great pool and lawned areas /ponds etc.Jasmine hills is very quiet and remote, surrounded with paddy fields and 2km to the nearest town the best transport to see the area is bicycles which are free on site.after the hustle and bustle of chaing mai city we awoke to birds singing and frogs croaking our next stop was Bangkok so we made the most of tranquil setting at jasmine hills.the food was great although the choice was limited and with no bar on the complex a trip down to the town was essential to pick up supplies. You can book any trips you want from the reception and they will bend over backwards to help with any requests you may have. The stay at jasmine hills was everything we expected and more,we met nice people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay , read the reviews and make sure this is what you want before booking you will not be dissapointed , thankyou dolly and paul hope to see you all again soon.

Clean & quiet hotel with always smiling service.”
I've planned this trip 6 months before it starts. I'm very satisfied with the trip. Especially for this Jasemin Hill Hotel, a very clean and quite hotel which only 2KM far away from the local small town named "Doi Saket". I went around the town by getting a free bicycle from the host. I also enjoy my stay in the hotels like SPA/Massage, swimming (it contains a very clean and diaphanous swimming pool which I liked very much) and of course meals. The smiling service always around you whenever you need. I think I will see you again very soon.

Great Place - You will be glad you stayed here”
From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we knew we were going to enjoy some genuine hospitality. We arrived at Jasmine Hills Lodge half way through our vacation and had been in a number of hotels up to that point. Paul and Dolly (owners) are naturals for the hospitality industry. They will do almost anything for you to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Because of their friendliness, guests tend to immediately relax and chat amongst themselves as if they have known each other for years. We met some lovely people during our stay (hi guys). This is the prime indication of good hospitality. Jasmine Hills restaurant menu is a reflection on Pauls love of flavours from Singapore together with their chefs (Peter) traditional Thai dishes with hints of his experience s from cooking in Australia. Without doubt and without exception we enjoyed our stay here. I could write a small book on how enjoyable it was but I guess it is better that you find out for yourselves. Paul & Dolly have wonderful expansion plans underway and, as with any other accommodation establishment, whilst there are some very minor items that need attention (all on the plans), we are adamant that these guys deserve the highest rating we can give. Thank you Paul & Dolly – we will be back! . . . soon Bryan & Jay

Gorgeous, lovely intimate resort”
When I booked Jasmine Hills I wasn't aware that it was a bit outside of town, but it was well worth the travel. It was actually very nice to be in such a tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle especially after coming from Bangkok. We rented a small car so we could do our own thing whenever we wanted to. The other visitors were nice and our 5 year old daughter loved the swimming pool. Surroundings are beautiful and all very tastefully done. Peaceful, tranquil setting and great when you are in need of peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend it and come back again when visiting Chiang Mai.

beautiful villa in the jungle ”
Jasmine Hills is a gem! We had a wonderful time. Paul and Dolly go out of their way to help you in every way we can. They can arrange airport pickup and take you to whatever destination you need to go to, for a reasonable price. Make sure its the right fit for you ahead of time - its very quiet and relaxing, but you are an hour from the city and an hour and half from elephant treks. You will spend a lot of time commuting if you plan to go out and about every day. If you'd rather relax by the pool or at the spa, then this place is great for you.

A resort that feels like a homestay- ”
our travels in northern thailand culminated in jasmine lodge which was perfect after the sight seeing, shopping and action of chiang mai, chiang rai and the trips we did around. jasmine lodge is the perfect place to unwind before you head home. it is serene, comfortable and the owners dolly and paul are warm and hospitable making it more like a homestay than a resort. our 11 year old was delighted fishing in the resort's many waterbodies, swimming and cycling. i would certainly recommend it and will definitely go back again.
