little piece of heaven”
the property is gorgeous… organic gardens throughout, a duck pond, villas scattered around the property, all surrounded by trees, greenery, peace and quiet. there are garden villas and pool villas, a resort pool, bikes to roam around on, free wifi and a beautiful spa. one of the most spectacular things about narittaya is the food. much of what is served comes from their organic garden and you can literally watch them pick the lettuce for the salad you just ordered… not only is it fresh, organic and healthy, but it is delicious too! a few must haves include the egg white frittata, fresh baked bread and jams, vegetarian wrap with grilled vegetables and baked ricotta cheese, narittaya somtum and taro parcel, which all make great vegetarian dishes. i hear the mataba and grilled chicken and avocado sandwich are good too. their famed chef has been away, but they've had a guest french chef who has also created many spectacular specials since we arrived, including a coconut creme brûlée served in a coconut! what really makes narittaya special though is the staff… are like family… they are all extremely friendly, engaging and helpful. they have shared their culture and their lives with us, everything from showing us the local hang dong market, to taking us out for a night in the old city, even feeding the local buddhist monks breakfast with us during their morning walk. they speak excellent english and always have a smile and helping attitude.

Natural quiet with beautiful gardens own transport”
It was very nice to stay at the Narittaya Resort and Spa. The first thing about this place is how quiet it is. It's a little bit out of the way, but once you get there you can come and go as you please. Each cottage is pretty much self contained and spread around the landscaped gardens. Your "neighbours" are around 50 metres away from your room/cottage. I didn't explore too much around but I was just happy to relax in and around the cottage. There is a small pool onsite and many of the other cottages even had their own pool. So if you want that option, it is available. Apart from breakfast, I never saw any other guests. Although I had a few excursions already planned as I live in Chiang Mai already, but it was great for a short break! There are plenty of onsite activities to join if you are that way inclined, but you could also just hangout inside, during the hot afternoons. We had breakfast included and it was a great way to start the day. The ricotta and honey option was spectacular. The breakfast selection was quite good all round. Our bathroom included an open air shower and that was interesting, but not a problem. Just be prepared! The whole stay was very nice and I would probably return again if I had the opportunity.

Pristine”
I have stayed at this resort several times and will continue to do so whenever I visit Chiang Mai in the future. As always the Staff were courteous, Friendly and very helpful. The location for our needs was perfect outside of the city limits but not too far should you want to head into town. The resort itself is pristine and extremely well kept, the vegetables in the restaurant are grown within the resorts beautiful and well kept garden. The resort have a shuttle service and also bicycles available should you wish to go and explore locally. there are Temples nearby and if you have a motorcycle or car and the season is right, there are some amazing strawberry farms nearby. Everything you need is within the Resort, their are local amenities should you require the basics. Small villa with pool as always was private, quiet and relaxing, I have still yet to try the Spa. Always a relaxing stay at the Narritaya Resort, To All the Staff at the Narritaya, Thank You for always looking after us during our stay.

Excellent service with tasty organic food ”
Excellent service, highly recommended. We took a taxi from the airport to hotel. But the taxi driver lost the way and dropped us down near a supermarket. We called the hotel and the manager came to pick us up at 930pm. He's very nice and helpful. Narittaya resort has an organic farm. The breakfast is tasty, better than 5 stars hotel. Also, the hotel provide personal service, special arrangement for the celebrities of our honeymoon, even if it's the first time we stay in the hotel. Excellent at all.

Amazing spa resort ”
We had only stayed one night at Narittaya. From the welcoming invite of the Staff and how the receptionist had arranged our spa testament in a short time notice to our airport transportation. It was a perfect oasis just outside of chiang mai city center. The food was very good, everything was fresh and the garden greens looked amazing. I definitely will be coming back and recommending it to my friends!

Very enjoyable and relaxing”
My husband and I enjoyed the Narittaya Resort and Spa very much although the breakfasts were a little repetitive and we're not fans of duck eggs. The restaurant was mostly empty at night probably due to the menu and prices.

Very, very nice, private”
Narittaya is off the main drag and out of town. So you cannot really walk to a restaurant unless you want to walk for a long ways. But this makes the resort very quiet and private. Don't expect a taxi or sangthaew to drive by this resort. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The one morning we did awake to see a trail of ants from the A/C unit on the wall across the ceiling to a window. They never bothered us and eventually went away on their own.

Great Resort, Wonderful staff”
We stayed at Narittaya Resort and Spa from the 26th December 2012 until the 31st December 2012, our stay at this Resort were extreamly wonderful. The staff at the Resort are the most wonderful people you can come across, they are helpful and always there to help. We are Vegetarian, so they took special care of us and make sure that we all are well served and taken care of, we thank you all for making our vacation a wonderful experience.

Very nice place for vacation”
I had great time with my family in Narittaya and we rode bike around the resort during the days, people are friendly and we do really enjoying the relax lifestyle, you can see and hear about the nature world in the village, also taste local nice Thai food. The most interesting thing is they made the shampoo, condition and shower gel by themselves with natural things, like coffee, butterfly pea and tamarind which offer in the room, I really like it and we definitely sure will come again next time for long stay!!

Fantastic Resort full of surprises”
I had a 2-day-1-night stay at this resort. The villa is very comfortable and the private pool made us relaxing so well after a few days of tours in Chiang Mai. The staffs are very kind and friendly. We had found lots of "surprises" in the meal provided by the restaurant. The chef had done a great job! We are looking forward to come back to stay in this resort again!

Lovely boutique hotel”
The Baan Deva Montra Boutique Resort in Chiang Mai is a peaceful small boutique resort with friendly staff, good food, well decorated rooms and pool villa. Very clean and nice park in the middle of the forest. The food of the restaurant was good but a little more expensive than in the city center (but who cares for 50 euro cents for more for a plate of fried rice???)

Very quiet; great stay”
This is a place to stay if you want peace and quiet in a very rural setting. It's about 20 minutes' drive outside Chian Mai in a village called Hang Dong, but really peaceful. Lots of space - we stayed in a pool villa - great value for money. The property is a little on the older side and could use some renovation, but the rooms were very comfortable and the staff very helpful and friendly. We loved it!

Relax near the base of the Doithrup mountains”
We stayed in a one bedroom house (including outside pool) which was very private - ideal for our honeymoon. The grounds are covered with beautiful gardens, including frangapanis and Teak trees. The staff are very friendly and happy to organise day trips, massages, room service.... This pictouresque hotel is located near the Night Safari and Doithrup mountains, 20 mins away from center of Chiang Mai (easily reached by a taxi if you dont have your own transport.)

very good and relax”
Excellent. The room was lovely, but I wasn't very comfortable with the open air shower as it meant the bathroom was also open to the outdoors, especially the ants (didn't feel comfortable enough to take advantage of the bath as there were quite a few ants in it. But what the room lacked the staff and the surrounding more than made up for. The staff were very attentive and helpful. There is also a free shuttle to the city daily. The spa is superb and Hirumi, the Spa manager is wonderful. Such care and attention, with beautiful organic products. Breakfast was a lovely a la carte option, which was so civilised and classy. It is a little way out of the city, but if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the palce for you and they also have cooking classes and Yoga at the resort. I will definately stay there again

Small limited-edition comfortable bungalows”
If you are expecting luxury for superiority from this hotel, you will not get that. You wouldn't get a doorman nor page boy to receive you at the lobby. There is no spacious reception hall awaiting for you to check-in. No personalized greeting. The settings are bungalow/villa like resort rather than a building with rooms. Public transportation is limited and the ... is isolated in the middle rural area of Chiang Mai. You will not get city light nor shopping street. When you are inside, it is not easy to go out without a car. Walking to the main road is out of the question. Overall, the property is very very quiet, completed, and fulfilled all my requirements. The management of this property is very family-like, making you feel like you are staying with relatives in Chiang Mai. The Pool-Villa I stayed was very value for money. Food is very organic, hygiene and delicious. Beddings look good but mattress was not springy, very stiff, not posturized, not plush. My wife told me that their spa is a disappointment. Materials were good, but the treatment was a disaster for her. Talking and doing are different things. I would suggest them to improve the management of spa.

A secret garden in chiang mai”
Our stay was very pleasant, thanks to the staff who was able to accomodate our last minute needs. As we were travelling with a baby, it can be sometimes difficult for a hotel to answer our requests properly, but the staff of the Narrittaya was able to answer them beyond our expectations! They booked for us last minute transportation for the day. The staff was very attentive towards our needs. The location is a bit remote from the city, but it is not a constraint. It is located nearby the Night Safari. Will take you less than 30 minutes to reach the airport. Was impressed by the fact the the resort grow their own food. The food is excellent at a reasonable price and the restaurant is open all day.

Very quiet and secluded”
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort itself is situated outside of the city limits but convenient enough to take trips into the centre. Conveniently located on the road leading west out of Chiang Mai towards the beautiful scenery.

Good getaway”
Very quiet for weekday. I have to travel in town to work and meet friends on first two days and decided to enjoy the spa and yoga on the last day. Joining yoga class was magical experience for me. Hiromi san really knows what she is doing. Her explanation could not be clearer and easier to follow. I regretted not signing up since the first day. Spa is great and relaxing. In fact, the yoga and spa already made good reasons to stay here again. Let alone the good service provided thoughout my stay. Only thing i didnt like so much here were mosquito and the stinky smell from the longan trees. But ofcourse these are minor and quite common in a resort in the north of Thailand and u will get used to it after a short while.

Very nice hotel with traditional style housing”
A very nice hotel just outside Chiang Mai. A bit remote so car would be ideal, but that allows it to have lovely landscaping and it feels more like a garden than a hotel. Staff is very helpful. The only negative comment I have to make concerns the water in the deluxe pool villa - it is very very cold and such the jacuzzi/pool is not really usable.
