Nice, clean and tasteful hotel in the midst of old”
Triple Palms House is smack in the old city of Chiang Mai. It is basic, but tastefully decorated. My room was spacious and new. You don't get a lot of contact with the staff, only during check in and check out, but they always greeted me with a smile (gotta love Thailand). There's no breakfast included, but there's lot of little make-do cafés around where you can get it for a few bucks. All in all, I recommend it absolutely.

Clean guesthouse with nice staff”
We have stayed 1 night in triple palm house, the room is big enough and tidy, bathroom is simple but clean. We come back from Suhokthai in the check in day, the staff wait for us til 9:00pm. The next morning we go to Elephant Nature Park, when we check in, Triple Palm House staff told us that the Park did contacted they and leave a message of will pick up us on tmr morning at 8:30, so we went out to have a breakfast on tmr morning at 8:00, but when we come back, the park staff said they have been wait for us for 30 mins, I don't know who gave us a wrong time, but pls do double confirm your scheduled tour details, it's better than trust the staff. Anyway, we have a nice stay!

Simply the best”
This place is simply lovely. Everything is nice and new. The staff are lovely and the minibar is very reasonably priced. Good sized room and ours was the most basic also, not deluxe. Great location but still very quiet for chiang Mai. If you want a great cheap eat, go right out of hotel and up the road til you reach the main road, go right and lovely Japanese about 100m along. Very cheap and tasty, very cheap beer there also and great service. Triple palms also has very comfy beds, not too hard like many places.

Perfect place to stay in Chiang Mai”
We stayed at the Triple Palms House for five nights during the Loy Krathong festival and loved it. The location is absolutely perfect - many great little restaurants within just a few blocks, near the east gate with easy walking access to the night market, etc. Almost everything we wanted to do was within a 20min walk - the old city really isn't that big! The hotel is a little bit shabbier than some of the photos may lead you to believe; however, this is all cosmetic. The place is bright, cool and clean and everything works as it should (including aircon and wifi). The front desk staff were quite friendly and helpful. The only negative for me was security - the hotel rooms are accessed through a separate entrance than the lobby, and the door is not locked. The front desk is "24 hours," however, the staff definitely turns out the lights and naps during the late night. We didn't experience any problems but it did strike me as a little odd seeing as the door locks on the rooms aren't particularly sturdy. But it was the only place we stayed in Chiang Mai, so I'm not sure what is standard.

Comfort and Peace at a Great Price”
We really enjoyed our stay at Triple Palms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a night bus to Chiang Mai and arrived to the hotel a bit early. The hotel was gracious enough to let us check in a few hours early which we really appreciated. We were really impressed with the large room size and nice layout of the room. The bed was big and comfy, the A/C was ice cold, and the shower was nice and strong. The location is awesome, everything is a short walk away. All in all we'd definitely recommend Triple Palms hotel.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff”
triple palms house is a very nice hotel that has a okay location for visiting chiang mai. the rooms are clean, nice. one watchout is that they don't clean the rooms and change towels every day, so in case you need such service feel free to ask at the reception. they have a friendly staff that can speak english suprisingly well.

Friendly and relaxed”
Our stay at Triple Palms was just lovely. I've done a lot of travel and met a whole variety of people, but i can honestly say were welcomed by one of the sweetest and friendliest person i have ever met. She fussed over us with unlimited water for the room, coffee when we wanted it and offered us umbrellas when it rained 1 night. And even though there was a language barrier, with my limited Thai and her limited English we had some lovely little chats. Room was lovely and outside area downstairs for relaxing with a coffee in the morning or a beer in the evening is great. Unfortunately because of the COVID-19 pandemic we had to get home quickly so could not stay for the entire time that we booked but would definitely go back.

Lovely Guesthouse ”
Had a lovely stay at this guesthouse. It is in great location, near to great restaurants, bars, massage palours, transport and not far from airport. My husband and I could even sleep in one day as street was nice and quiet. The only negative thing about tripple palms is that it does not have an elevator and we were on the top floor. Other than that, I'd reccommend it to anyone visiting Chiang Mai

Superb”
I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very nice, helpful with all my many questions on where to go and how to get there, they would even liaise with the drivers for me. It is located right in the heart of Chiang Mai old town, yet tucked around a corner so there was no noise even though there are restaurants/bars nearby. One of the only places I have found so far that has good wifi. Laundry was done for small fee, Very handy if you are travelling light. The rooms are exceptionally clean, bright and a nice size. I would have loved to have stayed here longer. Will definitely use again.

a clean, cozy, convenient place to stay”
triple palms house is about 15-min-walk to tha phae gate, and just beside the local sompet market. if you take song-tiaw or tutu, you only have to tell them "go to sompet market". the driver will immediately understand and get you right there. also, even triple palms house doesn't offer breakfast, you can go to the nearby market to get food, including 7-11, street stands..etc.

Huge room, great view!”
I enjoyed my stay at Triple Palms. My room was on the top floor, it was very spacious and comfortable and had a great view. The location was good. The only issue I had was that when I arrived I felt really sick and told the proprietor. Check in wasn't for 45 minutes and I asked her if I could go the room early, but she made me wait...seemingly for no reason, since the room was ready. Aside from that, she was kind and helpful. It just felt needless to make me wait 45 min to go upstairs.

Beautiful new hotel in ideal location”
arrived early and staff were more than accommodating to let us check into our room early. staff were also very helpful in phoning tours etc for us. room was huge, bright and clean very new and well designed. brilliant shower with hot water. clean linen was given every day and bottled water. set in good location in quiet area with some good bars and restaurants nearby then only a 5min walk to the main gates and markets. will definitely stay here again if we return to chiang mai very good value for money. hotel has all facilities needed for a traveller, there is no pool but its not needed.

excellent newer hotel ”
I've stayed in 4 different hotels in Chiang Mai and this is easily my favorite. Its very new and clean with comfy beds and wifi that works well. The location is pretty good, close to the best parts of the old city imo. Its a small hotel, without a restaurant - but there are plenty of great places to eat close by. The staff is minimal but nice enough.

Great hotel with friendly staff ”
I would visit triple palms again ! The room was an excellent value for the price, located on a quiet street in the old city. Golf, the woman who worked at the desk was very friendly. My only criticisms were the hot water did not get very hot & this could be a problem if you get cold easily also the beds were hard- but I like a hard bed so I didn't mind.

This was a fabulous hotel in Chiang Mai”
it took us ages to find a hotel that didn't have some dreadful review in chiang mai. we didn't want a party hotel and we wanted to be within the walls and close to a lot of the temples. the staff were amazing, the rooms were great, i would highly recommend this hotel.

Triple Palms A Delight”
Like Triple Palms, a lot. Friendly staff, great location, large, clean rooms. Would stay here again. Also, they are next door to Grasshopper Adventures, a cool bike tour company. I've gone on their tours all over SE Asia.

Great Spot in The Old City”
Triple Palms is in a great spot in the North Eastern part of The Old City. The rooms are decent here and the staff were super helpful. They arranged to have our washing done quickly at very short notice when we arrived and even let us leave a bag with them for three days while we travelled to Mae Hong Son.

Definitely a mixed bag”
We stayed at Triple Palms House for five nights, and though the stay was generally fine, there were some negatives as well. To begin with, the front-desk personnel acted indifferent to our arrival, in contrast to the usual welcoming one gets at most Thai hotels and guesthouses. The superior room was adequate, but the lower part of the shower curtain in the bathroom was filthy with black mold. When we requested that it either be cleaned or replaced, the rather surly response was, "If we don't have a replacement, would you like the maid to just remove it?" Since that would have meant water spraying around the entire bathroom, it seemed a non-solution. The filthy curtain stayed up for the duration of our stay, and I expect it's still there today. On the second or third day of our stay we arrived back at the room in late afternoon only to discover that the room hadn't been cleaned. A check with the front desk elicited the news that the housekeeper had resigned earlier during the day, at which point someone came to bring fresh towels. The towel situation varied from day to day: on a good day, there would be two each of hand towels, bath towels, and for some reason one (only) washcloth. On other days there were various combinations: two bath towels only, or two bath towels and one hand towel (no washcloth), etc. In fairness, the gent who worked mostly nights during our stay seemed to be quite friendly, and he was helpful in seeing to it that a taxi was waiting to take us to the airport at 6:00 am on the morning of our departure. All in all, certainly not a bad place to stay, though I doubt that we will choose to return there, with so many other options available in the same area of Chiang Mai alone.

Great room and good location”
We were not expecting the luxurious room that was awaiting us inside the hotel. Although the outside was not bad, it was fairly plain, but the inside of the room was clean and very nice. We enjoyed our stay in Chiang Mai in part because of this hotel. The location was good and it was easy to meander around the town from this location.
