Great experience”

It's an great experience staying in 2W hostel. The owner of the hostel "May" was a very nice friendly guy, he make you feel like home and whenever you have question he is ready to answer it all and making sure you having great fun in the city. This hostel located right opposite Ocean shopping mall where theres lots of massages, clothing stores, cafes, night market etc.. Most of the places were within walking distance. I would highly recommend this place for your stays in phuket town.

Warm, cozy, very clean hostel in good location”

This small hostel is in a good location, just opposite Ocean shopping mall and Robinson department store is just in few minutes walk. It locates in city centre, however a bit far to walk to the "Old Phuket Town", where is the place for tourists to visit; but within 15-20 minutes walk (it won't be a problem if you rent a motorbike!). The staff is friendly and helpful. I booked for 4-lady dorm room, but got an upgrade to stayed in private room, which is very nice. The wifi is ok, on the 3rd floor shows sometime on and off signal, but still work. Overall, i'm happy with this hotel, but next time I would move to stay in other hostels which is more closer to the Old Town (after looked around and observed, the price is somehow as same as this one, but no need to walk in a long distance).

hostel looks really new and modern, just like in an ikea showroom. dorm room was pretty small but really comfortable with pretty bedsheets. the owner, may, was really warm and welcoming too. good location as well, just opposite ocean mall and robinsons, also located in the same stretch of markets. easy to find food. walking distance to old phuket town and bus stations as well. was too tired to go out so much during my stay so i stayed in their cafe most of the time. highly recommended.

Clean and full-of-smile receptionis”

It was lovely staying in this hostel, it near market, mall (not too big mall), KFC, McD, Swensen. The receptionist and also the owner is very helpful person, he speaks English with British accent fluently. So u dont have any spectacles in communication. But the room is small, and if you want to visit patong u need to take a Tuk-Tuk because this hostel is in Phuket Town. Phuket Town - Patong is abotu 400 Baht.

Great hostel for tourists looking for a headstart”

i have to say, the staff at 2w are amazing! i can't believe i never asked his name, but the manager (or owner?) was great. he gave us a walkthrough about things to do in phuket like: directions and what to eat at really delicious local spots, where to get cheap tickets, how to find the bus, etc. i felt really comfortable in the deluxe room. one thing about the deluxe room --- there is poor ventilation in the bathroom and every time you took a shower or went to the bathroom it really smelled awful. leaving the door open to air things out just wasn't an option if you are trying to sleep.

Cosy and friendly hostel”

We stayed at the 2W for a day/night when in transit through Phuket. It is in a great part of town and it is easy to get around on foot. It has a lot more character than other more popular/busier areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hostel has a friendly atmosphere. The room was cosy and comfortable and perfect for our brief stay. Our only criticism was with the finish which seemed to have been rushed: bathroom fittings were loose and someone had left a drill bit in the room. Despite that we would recommend the 2W and would stay there again.

Great stay. Staff is very helpful and welcoming!”

Stayed for 10 nights. Very quiet and clean. Staff always welcomes you with a smile and there to help you. If you want to go to the beach there's loads of tuk tuk and taxis around. You can also walk 10,15 minutes and the local bus will take you for 35 bath. All in all a great place to stay for a couple if nights in Phuket town.

Small room but nice interior”

The location of this hostel is good if you want to get rid of the beaches for a day or two. not so much tourist and more locals means that you could get to know more bout their culture. This hostel has quite nice an interior and the owner has been helpful and friendly to the guests. all the rooms are air-conditioned, even the cheapest shared dormitory, so it's quite a good deal considering the price. If you got bored with the town you could always walk about 20 min to the bus station and take a bus to the patong beach or kata/karon beaches with only 25 baht, even though the bus leaves every 1 hour or so (not quite sure).

DWe really had a great stay,the staff was very accomodati,they even help us book our tour and endorse us to a very helpfull driver who tour us around . I felt at home,the community are so friendly,the spa on the left side sells souvenir cheaper than other. We are happy we stayed at 2W.

New Hostel, really well located in old Phuket”

This brand new Hostel just open a couple of month ago, so you will enjoy a nice atmosphere and decoration. Simple but clean, it is definitely a good deal for people with a small budget. The cleaning service was really good. About 5-10 minutes walking from the shuttles who will bring you to various beaches and places in Phuket.

Nice budget hotel”

Convenient, comfortable, clean and affordable.”

I was impressed at the honesty of the hotel staff. My travel partner had carelessly left her money pouch containing her trip's budget at the massage parlour next door. The next morning, the staff approached us and asked what's our plan. On finding out, he helped us approach the manager of the parlour and my friend went to check the area. She didn't find her pouch. We decided to head off towards the bus terminal. Along the way, the hostel staff caught up with us on the motorbike just to return the money pouch to us! Everything was there, not a cent less! We were so impressed by their honesty and integrity that my friend just gave that boy THB1000 as a reward. I would like to commend the hostel and their management for their kind and noble act! Well done!

Good for a night before Koh Phi Phi”

In Phuket as a lay-over on the way to Koh Phi Phi. This place is near the dock and sell tickets to the island for a good price. It's in the town so not near the beach if that's what you're looking for.

Great stay here in dec '15. Would strongly recomend. Great vibe to the place, staff are so lovely and friendly. Clean place and very comfy beds. Bunks are soild. Location is good for this side town- not great if you are lookin for party strip which is about a 30min drive away. Coffee is great here too!! Thanks for the stay! One of my fav hostel experiences.

Solo”

The hostel was as pictured, clean and modern. The staff was very helpful with providing information on getting to beaches and they arranged for a taxi to pick me up from the airport for an extra fee. The hostel is located within walking distance of fantastic markets, local food, and old town Phuket.

Overall, this is a good hostel.the first floor is the cafe, on the second floor - the third floor is the hostel, clean and tidy ... facilities are good, that is, no balcony, near the convenient transportation. But the attitude of the front desk staff ... too bad ... I think the front desk staff as the hotel's first contact with the customer's staff, she represents the image of the hotel, she should have a good attitude, but ... she always ignore your again ... low efficiency!
