Great value for money! Really enjoyed my stay”

Casa Brazil Homestay and Gallery was great! I love Karon beach, and I love the proximity of the hotel to the beach. For the price I paid (about 20 per room per night), it was wonderful value because the room had all the amenities you'd expect in a hotel. Comfortable mattress - check. Cold aircon - check. Speedy and free wifi - check. Big wardrobe - check. In room safe - check. Clean towels - check. Free water everyday - check. In room fridge - check. Room service - check. There was no breakfast, and our driver had some difficulty finding the place. But that's about all that's bad about it. I'd really recommend this place if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and cheap place to stay. :)

Good, no thrills accommodation at a great price”

We stayed at the Casa Brazil Homestay & Gallery for 3 nights. Facilities were basic but each day, we were supplied with clean towels and 2 bottles of water. Free wifi was also a bonus even though for the first two days, I had problems connecting to it but maybe it's just my phone and tablet settings as my friend had no problem. The location is great, very close to shops and restaurants, and a five minute walk down to Karon Beach which we thought was definitely one of the better beaches in phuket, having visited kata, kata noi and Patong. We didn't really speak to the staff much but they did seem very approachable and friendly. Great place to stay if you are not after anything fancy but just want a clean hub to stay in at a very good price.

Lovely place, lovely people”

We really enjoyed with staying at Casa Brazil Hotel. Great location, near beach and street with stores and restaurants but still very quiet in the room so you can rest and sleep peacefully. I got some issues with AC and Internet but I communicated this to the staff and this was solved immediately! We really liked being there, great atmosphere, great people. Tasty breakfast. Thank you! And if I'm going to visit Phuket again - I'm definitely staying at this hotel. Thanks!

Quirky but quiet, close to beach”

For the price (A$17/night in shoulder season), this guesthouse hotel was good value considering the very peaceful street we were on, the friendly staff, cute tropical setting plus proximity to beach and restaurants. There's no frills like pool or views and the balcony on the first floor looks over a thick strand of electrical cables, but overall still very worth the money for basic accomodation. Their own restaurant wasn't running and the front desk closes fairly early each evening so security wasn't so tight as anyone could walk off the street. But it was such a quiet street that it never felt like a threat. The room was basic but had a South American colour scheme, the tv was an old CRT and safe had problems a couple of times. But there was a fridge, good aircon, and a (Thai style) hard but decent queen bed. Overall we weren't unhappy with Casa Brazil as the staff were very pleasant and accomodating. If you need a budget no-frills place that has a relaxed and homey feel in a good location near Karon Beach then you can do much worse than this!

Great staff , they speak English and have a positive attitude and always serve breakfast with a smile ! The rooms are lovely and cleaned everyday and the water it hot and flows nicely, I have already recommended this to many friends and family and honesty can only say great things about the Casa Brazil! It's a ten star rating for me and I cant believe how cheap it is compared to other places for the same price in town! Also super close to the beach and all the shopping areas , felt safe the entire time. I'll be back 100% Kind regards Laban Pitman-johnson

Value accommodation near beach in Kata”

I was only going to be on Phuket one night and after looking the Karon/ Kata beaches looked nice so went for this area of Phuket. However, was then shocked at the hotel room prices for these beach areas . Therefore, decided I’d browse more ‘homestay’/ B&B accommodation and found the casa brazil. I am really pleased I went for it. For the price/ value/ location rating, you’d be hard pressed to beat it in Phuket. Ok, its not luxury accommodation, but I’d bet it’s the best of the bunch of the B&B/ homestay type places. Its got what you need, has an interesting terracotta/ rough plastered walls type look which makes it look Spanish/ ranch style. Rooms are clean, with a/c and nice garden / hillside views to the rear. So, if you wish to find more value accommodation in Phuket, but without feeling as though you’ve gone too budget, stay here- it offers cheap but good value accommodation. Its only 5 mins from Karon and 10 mins from Kata beaches.

It is very good hotel for such low price. Rooms are very clean with interesting design. Everything is exactly as on photo. It is located very close to Karon beach and to good restraints. Staff was very friendly with us and helped us with taxi orders every time when we ask. Room service was good and fast. Water was delivered to our room every day. Wi-fi internet was not so fast but available in our room. Safe also is in the room. The only regret is very hard bed,in my opinion. Generally speaking we was enjoying to stay there and definitely will recommend it for relaxing journey to Karon area!

Hidden Gem !!”

very nice hotel with huge room and bathroom. very clean. aircon works well, staff very friendly. excellent location in karon, 2 blocks from the main beach, right by a couple of bars, shops, restaurants and travel agent. this is a good option if you want to stay in a quiter area with the a mexhican island vibe, but close enough to any entertainment, 5 min drive to patong beach with bike. this is my first choice in phuket and at an excellent rate! they even let us stay longer for the day to wait for our flights. small restaurant below.

Quiet little place away from the hustle and bustle”

Casa Brazil is difficult to find. Take the soi nearest to Subway and it is about 200 meters down. Check in and check out were a breeze. I would recommend an upper floor as the floors carry noise and some travelers choose to wear shoes in their rooms. Only one blanket per room. Not sure if they served food or not. Internet was spotty and did not work on my last day here.

Theroom is badic but they come with a large bathroom, sattelite tv, and a great large balcony. There was no view and it is not very close to the beqch (though it also is not far) but the friendly helpful staff, cleanliness of the rooms, and the quick and smooth check in made this place a winner in my book. If you are a budget travellor to phucket looking to avoid the obnoxious crowds of patong i highly recommend casa brazil.

Great location with cute rooms”

Plan to stay only for 2 nights but end up with 5 nights. It was a very pleasant stay for me and my boyfriend. Big room, clean and comfortable. 3 min talk to Karon beach, around with restaurants and bars, yet it's quiet & peaceful in the night. Hotel stuff are very friendly although most of them doesn't speak quite much English. I have to say that for this price, we are very satisfied with our stay and would definetly recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect hotel”

Perfect location on the Karon beach, very close to the beach, shopping and bars, but still very quiet. very nice hotel staff. nice room, very clean. I could only recommend for those who want to be in the middle of night life, but also want to sleep in a quiet in case we come back to Karon Beach it would be definitely to this hotel!!!

Quiet place with good location”

We wanted to stay near karon beach and this location could not be better. It's about a block from the beach and you pass food and bars along the way. Also a 7-Eleven, market, and pharmacy are all close. You are off the main road though so that makes it quiet. The place was clean and staff were very helpful. The view from the room was nice. Everything was basic and bed was hard but it fulfilled everything we need except lack of coffee. ;) Would stay here again! A bonus are all the nice colors and decor to represent the Brazilian style....a nice mix from the traditional Thai style we have been staying in. Just a hint though if you want the main tourist part this probably wouldn't be the area for you. We wanted away from that. But if you want to avoid crowds a bit this area is perfect and this place is the perfect stay!

Great value for your money. This is a no frills safe, and clean hotel though they supply beach towels, small soap bars for the bathroom although no shampoo and 2 bottles of drinking water per day. You can also borrow snorkeling gear, books and beach mats when available. Only a few blocks from Karon beach, restaurants, bars, convenience stores( 7 eleven) and shopping. This is my 3rd time staying here and I will definitely be back!

The decor of the hotel was lovely.”

We loved the artistic look of the hotel. The hotel was value for money. However, the wifi was non-existent in the room and the breakfast (that we paid for) was mediocre. The major issue we had was not with the hotel, it was with Karon. Our suggestion is avoid Patong and Karon like the plague. Patong, particularly, is awful.

Cozy atmosphere for great value”

We loved this hotel as a small but cozy ones. Beach are only 3-6 minutes of walk, you can also come to the beach not by mainly road but with hidden ones - it is great! Breakfast is not so well assorted, but for us it wasn't not a reason why we came to vacation. Each peace of this family hptel you can explorer for youself. The owner are collecting some encient things so it is really like a gallery! Enjoy!

Loverly hotel, stylish, value for money”

Karon Beach is a nice and quiet place which is good for people to take a short stay. The hotel is owned by a lady. The decoraion is very local style and unigue, like a bongtique hotel. The location is very good which close t both beach and restraruant. However, internet is poor and you have to go to the lobby bar to receive it. Generally i think it is quite value for money.

Very clean and nice rooms with balcomy. Friendly and helpful staff. Simple brealfast included in the price. Beach towel service. Free hot water and potable water for the whole day. 5 mins from the beach and restaurants. 7-eleven just around the corner. The best place we got for such price in Thailand.
