Perfect!!”

My partner and I were more of the adventurous couple. Instead of taking taxi or tuktuk, we have decided to rent the bike from the hotel as usual and explore Phuket. Because we were unfamiliar with the roads, the staff were helpful enough to explain the way to the places we wanted to go clearly in English. One of them even wanted to bring us there because she was knocking off soon and the place we wanted to go was near her home. Another great thing about De Coze is that they provide bike rentals. There are bike rentals along Patong beach but you have to hand them one passport in order to rent the bike. I don't think it is safe to hand someone your passport because you do not have any background information of the person. The bike rental prices are almost the same so I am very glad that De Coze provides bike rental. Handing my passport to a hotel is so much safer than handing to someone along the beach. I can't emphasize how great the service at De Coze was despite being a 3-star hotel. The staff were very attentive even towards little details. We went for a swim and not long after fresh sets of towel were given to us. Room servies were good too. Our clothes were thrown all over the room and they picked and pack it neatly on the chair for us. Fresh towels and new toiletries were given to us daily. Our tours were book via the hotel. The staff gave good advice on the tour package that best suit our needs. The room were exactly like the photos posted by the management. The wifi speed was great, though we have to log in each time we went back to the hotel. Overall, I am satisfied with De Coze Hotel and will definitely stay there again if I am back to Phuket!

we stayed at de coze hotel after a miss-sold stay on koh phi phi. and as such we needed somewhere to stay that was cleaner, had aircon as the temperature and humidity were relentless and had a pool to cool off in. de coze ticked all these boxes so we booked having read only one review as this place is pretty new. wow! it is lovely! tucked into a quiet little square it stands in its 7 storey glory. a 5 minute walk, 'yes, walk', from the jungleceon shopping centre and probably 10-15 minutes walk from the beach depending on which route you take. (advice from me- out of the hotel entrance, left, right onto the main road and right again over the bridge, left onto the oneway system (you will have past a load of thai eateries on your left and a very nice italian restaurant on your right. then turn right just before the hard rock cafe and follow for 400 yards to patong beach. easy, unlike a previous review. anywho, the hotel; super clean, modern, great big bed with clean sheets every other day. massive walk-in shower with a monsoon shower head. superb aircon in every room. the bed lit up at night in neon blue :) awesome, staff are amazing. i would love to stay here again! the manager speaks perfect english, as does the main receptionist and we couldn't thank her more for her excellent service. you can hire good scooters from the neighbouring hotel-just ask at de coze reception, we did this several times as its much cheaper than a tuk tuk and we could go anywhere. the pool here is large and clean, inclusive steam room, free pool table (2x 10baht coins that it rejects, free hi speed wifi for your stay in every room. free water each day. decent mini bar. loved it :)

Stylish hotel in a quiet location in Patong”

i am attracted to de coze hotel's design before deciding to book with them for my short break in phuket. as i have been to both alfresco phuket and beach box in the same area, this new hotel is not hard to find and it is very visible from the start of the side road that it is in. i also like the fact that there is space for carparking in front of the hotel and its not too far proximity to jungceylon. besides the stylishly designed room which also have good wifi internet connection, i also appreciate the pool and the cozy internet/reading corner. service is good and proper with the reception speaking good english. de coze hotel says to 'stay in style' and i have to agree.

amazing hotel, you can't go wrong!!”

Well, what can I say?! I've travelled to Thailand many times, and for the price, this hotel was outstanding, and easily the best. The staff were extremely polite, well presented, efficient, and helpful. Originally, my friend & I, had booked just two nights here over New Year, and four nights in a similarly priced hotel 1km away. Due to the vast difference in quality when we arrived at the second hotel, we cancelled out booking, stayed just one night due to refund rules, and checked back into De Coze. The rooms were modern, but not garish, clean, and extremely well designed, as well as comfortable. There is an infinity pool, a lift, a steam room, and an open plan dining area, with computers, with internet access, a large tv, and pool table on the deck above. Fantastic for me and my friend, we were never wanting for anything during our stay there. The location is superb, and is in a nice quiet area, but at the same time, just a ten minute walk to the nightlife, and beach, or three minutes by moto-taxi, which are parked on the main road two hundred meters away. There are many good restaurants a stones throw away, as well as a chemist, tour booking centers, and shops. The hotel stands out from the surrounding ones because of its unique design, and has clearly been thought through with master insight into modern construction techniques. If I could rate this hotel, I'd give it 11/10. I'm clutching at straws to find one single thing that disappointed, and I guess the only complaint would be is that the pool cue tips were non existent, and there was a slight roll on the side nearest the television, but that's it. Playing on the table is free I might add, and breakfast is also included gratis. INCREDIBLE & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Fantastic hotel superb service”

The hotel is situated not far from the beach and shopping mall. It's a 10mins walk away. But not to worry they provide free tuk2 service to the mall and the beach. I love love love that their rooms is huge and the view is amazing and calming . The bathtub is huge too. They do not offer breakfast but they partner with another hotel and charge 4sgd per breakfast and it's American buffet breakfast. I will come back and tell people about this hotel is they are gg to Phuket.. The most important things is their employee is friendly caring and knowledgeable .. Thank you de coze

A great hotel to be discovered”

it was a good 3 nights stay in De Coze Hotel. Some distance to the beach, but short distance to the Bazaan and Jungceylon. However, if you got a bike then things solve. Helpful and english speaking staffs available. Airport transfer well arranged by Hotel. Surrounding area still under construction, which mean the road is not as clean as other places. room condition is superb. My room is the type with see-thru glass and bath tub. King-size bed and comfortable. Not much nightlife entertainment nearby which mean not noisy and good for relaxation. thumbs up and fully recommend to people who prefers relaxation.

A Hidden Gem! Awesome rooms, staff, location,pool!”

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at de coze. location is about 10 minute walk to jungceylon and the main strip, but far enough to feel a little relief from the noise and hassling. They offer free tuk tuk service if you dont feel like walking. its in a new area with a little construction happening but nothing to complain about. , Pool was great, very clean and really nice chilling area, with a library and lots of seating areas. Staff were very friendly, spoke English and were always happy to help. After initially only booking one night we decided to stay another 3 it was so nice. The rooms are big and comfy, very clean bathrooms, and great design, cable tv, and free wifi. No food offered at de coze but there are heaps of massage places and restaurants nearby. Also a Mini mart and shopping.

Nice, clean and value of money”

The breakfast buffet is very good with different dishes available every day. The room is clean and big. We rent 3 rooms and stayed 5 nights in De Coze, 3 rooms with totally different renovation and all of the rooms are also good. Very good value of $ for this price. About 10 to 15 mins walk to the shopping centre Junclyon and Tuk Tuk around 200thb to Junclyon and Patong Beach. However, the main road to shopping centre is under construction and which is quite dusty but still in walkable condition.

Amazingly designed modern hotel”

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at De Coze hotel. We were so impressed by the design of our room and the pool area and the reception area. It is beautifully and tastefully designed / decorated and it feels like it is more expensive than what it is. The location is away from the main area of bengla st/jungceylon so its good for some peace and quiet, but still close enough (10 minute walk from jungceylon shopping centre.) There are a lot of new hotels that are getting built around the same area so there was a little bit of construction noise during the day but that doesnt bother us. There is a family mart store 50m down the road and various restaurants, beauty, massage and laundry places within a couple minutes walk from the hotel. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the breakfast. It is only on from 8-10am so not very good for early or late risers, and it was always cold. The food was in bain-maries but it didnt seem like they were on. The breakfast is served at the sister hotel to De Coze which is about 30 metres down the road. They are both small hotels so there was only a small spread on for breakfast and no fresh egg station where a cook takes orders (fried eggs and omlettes are frequently put in the bain-marie). there is coffee, juice, two cereals, white bread, jam etc, 1 cooked asian dishes, 1 cooked western dish, bacon, chicken sausage, bacon, fried egg, omlette, and 2 fruits. Our room was so stylish, huge open rain shower and the bathroom was a second door you can slide open We loved the pool, it has an infinity edge and the level it is on is higher than the ground floor and right next to reception so you can swim up to the edge and watch people go by below you. the pool has three massage jets you can turn on while sitting in the corner on a bench below water. There is also a sauna which was lovely and toilets and outdoor showers all very nicely designed. Near the pool is the library and computers and pool table on a mezzanine

the hotel is parallel to Patong Beach, you only need to walk 2 blocks but gets tiring of walking also. Tuktuks are available but they give higher prices for tourists and I guess, fares are not regulated. nearby eateries and food markets. there are a lot of massage places also if you want to try Thai massage. Staff are nice and friendly. The maintenance crew are very efficient and fast. Wifi is ok. but sometimes, unstable. the room has a lot of space, requested a room with bathtub as in the pictures but they did not follow through with my request. buffet breakfast is ok. but kitchen staff needs to smile more, it is morning and we are in the land of smiles. seems like she rather not be there which makes getting food apprehensive. the hotel lobby has a lot of mini stairs/steps that if you have a luggage, it is difficult to carry it until the elevator. the plane for wheels are not easily accessible. overall, De Coze is a nice place to stay with great value for your money.

New hotel.The hotel is clean,i stay in standart room.Big room and friendly staff.Breakfast is so so.Happy with teh stay.Privided free tuk-tuk from hotel to Bangla road(Bar street) and Patong popular shopping center from 10.00am to 8.00 pm.Hotel to shopping take about 10 min walk.Overall i and other 8 person friends happy with the De Coze Hotel.

Unbelievable, Fantastic and Cozy ”

u are paying lesser than what u are getting. trust me on this. just 10 mins walk to patong entertainment street (blanga street). the hotel room is amazing. it was not what i had expected. i expected less. haha. the room is spacious with plenty of spaces to walk, thus allowing travelers with huge luggage to accommodation well. swimming pool area is great, although the pool might be a little small, but i had spent a good time swimming there with my friends. beside the swimming pool, theres suana and pool table. they even have computers with free internet connnections. issit all this great? dun miss out this great deal, for de coze, i'll be back.

Clean, comfortable small hotel”

We stayed at De Coze Hotel for 2 nights during New Year weekend. Patong was very crowded, so we were pleased that the hotel was quite far from the action. The room was well decorated and bed was comfy.The staffs were very helpful.I liked the pool and steam room ,however the pool was too small if you really want to swim.

Very nice and clean room”

Very nice room with sitting area, balcony, LCD TV, fridge with minibar, deposit safe, A/C. Furniture looks nice. Big comfortable bed. Bathroom with bathtube is good looking. All what you need for shower is included. There is also pool and sauna. Very nice. Staff is just super and very helpful! Excellent service. When I go to Patong Beach again, I definitely come back! I have only good memories of De Coze. Thank You! :)

Lovely hotel and service with a smile!”

We were there for our honeymoon. The Deluxe room was lovely. Nice and rather new. The two front desk staff were always warm and friendly. Very helpful. Nearby mall and beach. We rented a bike to get to town for 200 baht a day. Hotel also provided tuk tuk services to the beach and mall. No in-house restaurant so breakfast was served at their sister hotel. Lots of yummy restaurants nearby. We met with an bike accident just outside the hotel on our final day there. It was a hit and run. I was limping back to the hotel to get help in translating. The female front desk staff (I didnt get her name) was very helpful and helped my hubby and me. It was very nice of her to actually care for the hotel guests and told us to give her a call should we need assistance. We would definitely stay at De Coze again!

I have a very nice 3 night stay at De Coze Hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks to hotel help in my room decoration for my wedding proposal. However,the road construction have affect the surrounding and hope it will be done soonest possible. We will choose De Coze Hotel again for our next Phuket visit.

Cute little hotel”

De Coze was a great hotel for the reasonable price we paid. Small rooms, but cosy (Coze!) and stylish. The pool/recreation area was very chic and had a nice atmosphere. Pool was a bit on the dirty side from lack of use (we stayed in the off-season), but still swimmable! There was no breakfast available here which was a bit of a let-down, however the hotel provides a free shuttle service to Patong town centre so we were in easy reach of food :) Would definitely recommend to budget travellers.

Cheap and Good”

We reached the hotel at about 11am and they gave us a room straight away(whereas usually check-in for most hotels are at 2pm). Beautiful room facing the mountain. Should be a 4.5star hotel instead of a 3 star. And for that price is definitely worth it! Excellent service from the counter staff, who helped us booked a cab to kamala at 300 baht where the taxi service outside is asking for 500 baht. The hotel also provide free tuk-tuk service to patong beach and shopping area, which is a very good thing. And try the tour booth near the Family Mart, good price for tours. However, the hotel is about 15 min walk to the Jungceylon shopping mall and 20 min walk to bangla street. So after a day of shopping you still have to walk some distance back. Another bad point is that the hotel does not have a restaurant. But overall, this hotel is great. Makes me feels like home.

Good Hotel for the Price. Ok Location.”

we arrived early about 915am, mr ho(the manager) told us that the room can be ready for us in an hour, which was great. so we went off in their complimentary tuk tuk to jungceylon for quick breakfast. once done, we came back and checked in without any issues. the room we choose was spacious, clean and neat. nothing fancy, but it was as expected and as pictured on the photos. de coze is fairly new, and is pretty big in size, compared to the other budget hotels. has a lift, a nice pool and simple lobby. it has a "peranakan" feel to it, if you know about the "baba nyonya" culture. its tasteful done. the entire hotel has wifi, which was great. and the speeds were good. about 10mbps on a download test. the lcd samsung smart tv is great, you can hookup your usb, harddisk etc to it. nice to review your photos after a long day out :) we stayed for 2 nights, no issues, check out was as easy as check in. complimentary tuk tuk, one-way, out of the hotel to locations nearby was a great service. things we would have liked better with regards to de coze :- 1. rooms should have been vacuumed rather than sweeped, as the cleaners can be sweeping up the dust onto the beds unknowingly when they do their housekeeping. 2. the occupants in the next room were too noisy and kept banging on their room door, which was very annoying. (no fault of the hotel off course, but door bells could have helped.) 3. the restaurant was not functional for some reason. 4. there was no rate list for the minibar items. we didnt know the cost of the items in the fridge. overall it was good.

4th times staying. ”

This is our 4th times at De Coze. Still like the cosy feel. We had the deluxe room as usual. Big room big space big balcony. No wardrobe. Quiet, privacy, away from the noisy street. Room still look the same but some of the furnitures are getting old and need a change. Water tap at the bathtub is getting rusty and really need to fix it. Overall a comfortable stay! Definitely will be back again and try other rooms as well.
