Nice Hotel at Center of Entertainment”

Me and husband stayed 3 nights in Lamai Inn Hotel. Even we were not too much spent our time at the hotel, but we found that this is a quite nice place. What we like most is the location that near to everything you need. Just 5 minutes walk to the Patong Beach and It's surrounded with many restaurants, Jungceylon Mall, and mini markets. The hotel also has massage and beauty salon area that connected to the lobby. It's nice to get some relax after tired touring around. We like to stay here again for the next holiday in Phuket

Excellent service ”

Friendly staff & great airconditioning & one block away from Patong beach & close to Junceylon & Lamai Inn restaurant ( no service fee + no VAT ) & cost effective. One thing I would like from Lamai Inn is a cooking facility. But that is just my minor wish. Even without it, my experience with Lamai Inn was so so so good. I will definitely use them again in mu next visit.

Good location, ”

lamai inn hotel is a nice little place. it's close to everything you need, shopping centre, market and the nightlife of bangla rd and resteraunts all within a 5 minute walk. staff are very nice and friendly, the place is clean and the food there is decent. i had a deluxe room and that has your own computer with internet and colour printer, 42" lcd tv. good value for money hotel and can't wait to go back there in a few short months.

Lamai Inn Phuket”

The Lamai Inn is on the same road where Jungcylon shopping mall which is a juction to Bangla road. For peolpe who would like to have a good time and entertainment this hotel might be a good value for money. Itis five minutes walk to Patong Beach. the room are spacious and with wifi. the restaurant was not bad ( mid price for Phuket ) We stay in the standard room which is very spacious but the window facing the wall was not likeable in our taste because you won´t see the day light. The bath tub had a black mould otherwise is good for flachpacker.

I love it”

I stayed for 8 nights at lamai Inn, I recommend for all. Near to the beach less than 5 minutes by walking. All main places around the hotel maximum 10 by walking to reach it. The staff very helpful and friendly. The food in high level of quality. If I am coming again sure will be my first option because of the above. Thanks lamai group and Agoda

Always Stay There”

having lived in phuket for 3 years i know the area very well. the lamai inn is perfectly placed for the nightlife of patong. rooms are always clean and all have wi-fi and large tv.

Easy and Fun Stay at Lamai Hotel”

Overall, Lamai Hotel has a good mood for me to stay since the facilities meets as the other stars hotel. Staffs are very helpfull and friendly. Bed is very comfort with the rooms perfectly clean everyday. But i think the WiFi connection should needs improve the speed as it was not so satisfy for browsing. The Lobby is very pleasant place to have afternoon tea or coffee when chat with mates.

Home sweet home”

I went to the Lamai Hotel 2 years ago. The Lamai Hotel and Lamai Inn are only about 100 yards apart. The staff sometimes overlap between the two. One of the staff members remembered me from 2 years ago and was very welcoming. I really enjoyed staying here. It is everything that you need for a beach holiday where you really won't be spending too much time in your hotel. The rooms are basic but clean and spacious. They are well cleaned each day. Everything you need really. The location is great. 5 minute walk from Bangla Road so easy too reach but still quiet at night. 5 minute walk to the beach (they provide beach towels). Restaurant is not too great but plenty of other places nearby to eat. Nice little bar at front of hotel to have a beer before starting your evening. Staff are friendly when you make an effort to get to know them. This has everything you need. I will definately go back.

Great hotel, rooms were large with all ammenities”

This hotel was a delight. The location was very good, with shopping, bars and restaurants with a 10 minute walk. There were Motorcycles for rent in the front of the hotel, and the rooms were expansive. The rooms came with a 46" television, complete Computer setup with wireless internet in the room, and large bath. I am 5'9" tall and could lay down in the bath tub and not be able to touch my feet nor head at either end. After 36 hours of traveling, that was a major benefit, believe me. There is plenty of hot water, and the air conditioner worked well, except for a condensation leak from the A/C, everything was perfect. There is a small bar/restaurant in the front of the hotel and the food is mostly pretty good. I had one meal there where everything was overcooked, but for the most part the food was delicious. All in all, I and my friends were quite pleased with the service and accommodations and the price was excellent.

not bad for the money”

The Lamai Inn, not to be confused with the Lamai Hotel, was a good place to stay for the money. The staff were friendly and non-intrusive. There's a massage place connected to the lobby as well as a restaurant. 7 minute walk to Bangla and the beach, 4 minutes to the shopping center. Clean throughout. The downside was, it was very noisy--the halls echoed, there was some kind of machine that kept turning on and off causing the whole room to vibrate and rattle, the minifridge sounded like a lawnmower when it clicked on. So bring ear plugs and you should be fine.

Great Location, helpful staff.”

we stayed in a great room on the 4th floor. it was a bit tiring everyday to climb those stairs (no elevator) but other than that great place. you have your own computer in your room which is great. it's in a great location if you've come to patong beach for the busy night life and quick access to the beach. close to bangla road (night scene), close to jungceylon mall, 10 minute walk to the beach. bit expensive. you can probably find something for a better price.

Fairly good hotel”

overall it was good. the location is perfect, although the taxi driver had some problems finding the hotel, confused by the fact that there is a "lamai hotel" very close to "lamai inn". the room had a giant tv and had a computer with internet access and even a printer, although the printer didn't appear to be really functional. on the bad side, the room didn't have windows, which make them a bit depressing. the staff could have been more friendly, as they gave up pretty quickly when we couldn't communicate in english with them. we saw some problems with the electrical wires and even saw some smoke, but nothing more.

Lamai Inn Review”

The best feature of this hotel is that, it's very accessible to night life, affordable restaurants that offers the best and tasty Pad Thai! ('love it!) souvenir shops, massage place and most especially, it's just walking distance to Patong Beach. The hotel is clean and spacious. The price that you pay at a cheap price is worth it. Things I disliked: Firstly, the receptionist who's always scheduled to do a graveyard shift. She is very rude and disrespectful. Her tone of voice is very unfriendly and she doesn't even smile to greet the people staying at the hotel. The rest of the staff are quite ok. Secondly, When we checked out of the hotel, we went out to kill time waiting for our flight back home, but there was no cabinet to place our belongings to. The staff just asked us to leave it at the floor, right beside the stairs. Although nothing was missing when we got back our things, but there should be at least a secured place for the customer's belongings. But all in all, for the rest of our stay it's quite fine and recommendable for people who are seeking for an affordable place to stay for few days in Patong.

Lamai Inn Hotel”

This hotel is very clean, tidy and secured. It is situated on the main road and within short walking distance to any landmarks in Patong area such the Jungceylon Shopping Mall, Patong Beach, and closer to a variety of eateries and restaurants (Arabs, Thai, Continental, Oriental etc). The hotel is equipped with WI-FI provided free of charge. It is admitted that the room is not that spacious but just the right size.

Good value for money”

great location. i have stayed at other hotels owned by the same group and have always been happy with their service. this one however is a bit older than the others. hot water was sporadic and water pressure poor. the restaurant kitchen is open 24hrs and is very convenient if not somewhat overpriced. but everything in phuket is. this is patong and so you can expect to have some lowlife dirtbags around at times but even in high season i think this hotel offers good value for money paid. i think next time i would choose one of their newer properties though.

location of the hotel is really good, 10 min walk & you end up on bangla road.you have eating places all around,jungceylon mall just 5 min walk, 10 min walk to the patong beach.basically this hotel is right there in the hustle n bustle of phuket, so everything is within reach.definitely value for money. only issue is there's no lift service in the hotel, so if you get a room in the upper floors then it'll become an issue if you don't like to climb stairs all the time especially after a hard night-out.rooms are not that big i would say.the computer provided in my room was not working as the ups went dead,told the reception very 1st day,i stayed for 2 days & none came & fixed it!!

Convenient Inn”

lamai inn is near to jungceylon and so it is convenient and safe for shopping, food and massage for family. it is also walking distance to bangla and taveewong beach road for nightlife activities. when i checked in, i was given a room with safety latch that was broken. i requested for a room with safety lock/latch and they acceded to my request. lamai inn was not able to arrange for a minivan pick up for me to the airport. this is a service they need to provide.

Great location and good new additions to rooms”

The rooms are basic but good for the price and location is great. Rooms at front of Inn are bigger but the road noise can wake you up in the morning. Rooms at rear of Inn are smaller but quieter. Breakfast is good and all food is reasonably priced. All staff are pleasant or better. All rooms appear to come equiped with a computer connected to net and with an internet camera for skype - awesome! New wide screen plasma TVs have been installed since last we went too! No lift which is good for exercise except for when you come home in the wee hours with a few to many drinks in the belly. All in all a great place to stay. Not sure i would holiday with the wife and kids here, but you could do.
