Friendlist Hotel Staff I Have Ever Encountered”

The MT Hotel Patong is a wonderful place. My friend and I stayed 3 nights. Upon arrival we were graciously greeted by the hotel staff and shown to our room. The room was very clean, spacious, and welcoming. The free wi-fi was fast and reliable. We did not go into the pool but our balcony overlooked the pool and it looked pretty nice. I can't say enough how great the staff are here. Everytime we walked in we were greeted like family. The day we were supposed to check out we had a flight at 9pm and they let us stay in our room way past check out and booked an airport shuttle for us. When we were leaving they gave us big hugs before putting us in the taxi. When does that ever happen? Only in Thailand at the MT Hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone and if I ever travel back to Phuket I will surely be booking with them again. One more thing. There is a little restaurant right across from the MT hotel. You walk out the front door and it's literally right there. The lady that runs this restaurant is incredible friendly and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and when I told her this she jumped at the opportunity to whip something up for me. She brought some fried rice with tofu and pineapple out and it was the best fried rice I have ever had. Definitely pay this place a visit if you are staying at the MT Hotel.

Surprising nice hotel !”

me and my buddy went to the mt hotel because we could catch one of the agoda deals. the room was good! much space but maybe a little bit old. (some flaws in the walls and the painting wasn't perfect) but who cares - the room and the bathroom were clean, the bed was big and clean too. we were staying there just for sleeping, so it was perfect for us. the staff was very nice and what i have to tell you all: try the restaurant! (called "mama kitchen") very good meat and delicious food for no big money! we eat there everyday since we tried it the first time. i would recommend this hotel to everyone. the only negative thing was, that you have to walk quiet far (~15min) to the beach. and if you catch a taxi it charges you 200baht per car per way (if you share the car its okay.)

Near new hotel with large rooms”

we enjoyed our stay at mt hotel it was well presented and the near new rooms, cafe and facilities are clean and well maintained. the pool is clean and perfect for a swim on a hot day. we stayed in a room at the rear of the property overlooking the pool which was ideal. i would think the rooms at the front of the property would get a lot of traffic noise from the road nearby. from our room we could hear nothing. the wifi signal was strong with no drop outs. the hotel is located on the road entering patong so it is quite a distance from the main shopping area and the beach. we walked one morning and it took approx 25 mins bit we only did it once as there is no pathway and the traffic along this stretch is pretty hairy. for the rest of our stay we used a tuk tuk. this property would be perfect if you were looking to be away from the husle and bustle of bangla road and didnt mind paying for transport when you wanted to get around.

A nice small hotel with friendly staff”

the hotel is situated just as you enter patong. so its easy for mini cabs to drop and pick up for tours around phuket. was in a standard room, nice neat clean. the staff was very friendly and help full. recommend for people dont want to spend much time (chill/ relax) in the hotel and want to venture out be it going to the beach shopping, partying and tours. its a bit far from patong beach a cab would take about 300 to 500 thai bath depending on the number of people you are. and a solo bike cab would cost you about 50 to 60 thai bath to the beach. happy vacations :)

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

Hotel is good although when we arrived, the room that we have booked near the pool is not available as guest has not checked out. However, staff gave us a room where we could leave our luggages. Last night of stay, service staff even helped us to open the durian that we had bought from the outside stall. Overall of the hotel is not bad, will consider going back if I go Phuket again as price is reasonable with such good service.

Friendly staff, Clean comfortable room”

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and can speak English fairly well. There is a small but nice pool surrounded by the hotel so it is out of the sun most of the day which is a good thing in Thailand. It is approximately 2km from patong beach but tuk tuks are cheap and if you have a car or scooter they will make parking available at the hotel entrance where there is a security guard all night. Overall a pleasant stay at a good price.

Awesome Place”

The stay at mt patong was great, it was a 10 min bike ride to soi bangla, to the shopping districts, to the good food, the beaches and the ladies!

Great service.. Well priced”

very happy with our stay. the staff were always helpful and would often assist us with the simplest of requests. its far enough away from the main part of patong to be quiet, but we had mopeds which gave us quick access to the main part of town. the only downside is that the internet was intermittent. it would drop out every few minutes and pop back on after 30 seconds or so. the hotel is freshly renovated and represents good value in my opinion.

Stay was made very comfortable by staff”

Stay was unforgaetable. Staff was very cooperative. Rooms are cosy. Good size for even the couple. All services like tours etc were made available instantly. Assistance outside the hotel was also given with a smile.

Peaceful hotel with a friendly staffs”

The hotel is quite peaceful, but a bit far from the patong peach and shopping centre, if need go patong peach or shopping, every time have to take tu tu car to there, so will spend a bit money there and not much night market too.

very welcome staff”

not far from main street of phuket, very welcome staff. they gave us free breakfast even on our voucher didnt get any breakfast. just no lift to go next floor so has to carry it by our self :( overall are good for that price that we paid

clean hotel”

Even this hotel is located in Patong, but it is quite far from the beach. It is recommend if you are looking for cheap and clean hotel in Patong. You should rent a motorcycle if you will select this hotel. The service mind of the staffs is acceptable.

Perfect hotel”

This is a very good hotel that have big and clean rooms. We had a pleasant stay and we enjoyed a drink at the big balcony. The hotel is not placed in the middle of everything, that was perfect for us that wanted a quiet hotel for a good night sleep. The moterbike taxi station is placed just outside of the hotel and will bring you downtown in just a few minutes. We didn't find anything to complain about.

Not the best location, but comfortable hotel.”

The hotel is located by the side of a temple, its 20 min walking from the beach and 30 min from the centre. If you like walking, good for you. The recepcionists dont speak english, almost not at all. So its quite difficult to get informations about tours, from them. But theres one guy really friendly, seems as the owner, who will be helpful if you need! You cant count with the kitchen, only in breakfast times - which is not included in the price...Theres no chef there - but theres a good restaurant in the front of it. The hotel seems to be new, and its very clean. We wouldnt like to get out of there, its nice.

Cozy hotel, good beds, great value”

This hotel is a great value - as clean as can be, affordable mini-bar and restaurant, comfy beds, and relaxing pool area. Additionally, the hotel is in a convenient location just a few minutes from the beach.

Manager Meen was awsome he arranged transfer to airport and day tour with a very less and good price. Room was good, Staff are very polite. Will come with family again.
