I visit Phuket almost every year for vacation, been to many hotels (3 stars to 5stars) and for the price you pay I will rank sawaddi patong one of the top three. It was not a huge hotel, but big enough to have all the facilities you want, recently renovated, always clean. All the staffs were very very nice and kind. (I stayed for 4 nights at sawaddi patong with my sister) didn't have problem communicating with them, even though some of them didn't speak English well still tried their best to help. I was so touched. The location was perfect for me, not in the middle of crazy parties, yet you can easily walk to them. If you like Thai food, there is local restaurant very near the hotel, and you will find it easily cause always busy with people. Food was great but reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in mains.. Still tasty!!! If I have to pick a down side of this hotel is that breakfast wasn't impressive, but you can order eggs in your way, salad, fruits, toast, cereal, some local dishes. N of course coffee. Me and my sister can't wait to go back to his hotel, staying here made our vacation. I will Definatly choose sawaddi patong for my next vacation.

My only choice in Patong”

We stayed at Sawaddi Patong for our honeymoon last year, and came back for a longer stay this year simply because we love Phuket and this hotel! Room is comfortable, big and the friendly staff clean it on time every morning. We stayed for a week and spent most of our time in the gym, pool and watched a few movies (free rental from front desk). Conveniently located near Patong beach yet slightly hidden from the noisy main streets. We always look forward to our breakfast. Wi-if in room is restricted to one device per person and you cannot transfer between devices throughout your stay. So if you have a tablet and smartphone you need to decide which one to sign in for wi-if. Thanks Sawaddi Patong for your world-class hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

Very enjoyable and homely feel to the hotel”

I read numerous reviews about this hotel on Agoda and must say that I am not disappointed at all with my decision to stay at this wonderful, friendly place! First of all, Phuket is a great place to enjoy a holiday, and this hotel improves on the experience. I would like to explore other hotel options, but the pull factor is so strong that I am very likely to stay again at this hotel. If there is any complaint, it would be that there were certain guests who made a ruckus with their door-banging and loud banter. The first night, doors were still banging every 20-30 minutes until it was almost 2am. The second night it happened again, and I had made up my mind to inform the front desk staff when I went for breakfast, but then saw that group of guests with their luggage heading to the restaurant too, so in the end I did not approach the front desk as those guests were checking out. Other than that, the nice hotel pool although not large, was great to swim/play in. There is a nice gym too, and a relaxing lounge at the main lobby where sports is shown on the television (no soccer channel in the rooms). The walk is a bit of a distance to the main shopping centre (Jungceylon, which is a wonderful place if you love shopping). But then, there are many small shops/stalls along the way, so the walk is pretty enjoyable. The beach is about the same distance away from the hotel as the shopping centre, but again, it's an enjoyable 10-15 minute stroll. All in all, a satisfying stay at Sawaddi Patong! The Staff here at Sawaddi Patong Resort are very friendly trusting and accomodating. I would recommend this resort to any traveller staying in Patong. Location is a short stroll to the beach. Facilities such as pool, lobby, restaurant are super clean and welcoming. Breakfast here is amazing so if u book in be sure to add the breakfast to ur booking. You won't be dissapointed !! We chose to upgrade to a suite which we are so happy with. I love this place and I will be back again and again. Family trip”

We stayed at Sawaddi Patong for 8 nights and after reading all the reviews i cannot understand why People give bad review. It is not a 5 star Resort but it has everything a Hotel needs. Great pool, spacious rooms, fantastic Breakfast and good and clean facilities. It is overall a good, quiet Hotel, perfect for a Family. Also you have to try the Food there which is awesome. Shops, Restaurant, Pharmacy and all you need is nearby. Its a short walk to the Beach, Bangla Road and Jungceylon but you can also use the Free Shuttle Bus. If i have 1 bad comment is that 2 of the Breakfast staff very really rude and unfriendly but the rest was fantastic. Definitely will stay at this place again

Lovely relaxing stay ”

Just got back from a 4 night stay in the Sawaddi Patong. Me and my boyfriend chose to stay there as an end of trip treat after travelling around and staying in much cheaper places. And we were not disappointed, we were greeted with welcome drinks, then escorted to our room. Which was very clean and modern with large comfortable bed and a lovely new (looking) bathroom. We were also given the wifi code which had a great connection which stayed active wherever we went in the hotel 24 hours. The pool area was large with lots of beds, and a pool bar which although quite expensive for drinks, usually has daily offers on such as cocktail of the week so if you look out for them you can keep it cheaper. The buffet breakfasts were great with different things to offer each day. Although they don't have tea and coffee out, you have to ask for that which was a bit strange. The only downside I could say to the hotel was the staff weren't overly friendly (not very smiley or welcoming) and also they are strict on the check out at 12 rule and without checking told us there was no way we could stay later which means we sat in reception waiting for a transfer to the airport for 3 and a half hours. They do apparently have a shower room for guests who've checked out but there are no plug sockets to use, so women wouldn't be able to dry their hair. I never saw this room I was just told this by the lady at reception so could be wrong. However overall still a great stay just make sure your flight or transport elsewhere is coming for you close to the check out time.

We enjoyed our stay at Sawaddi Patong! We were there to celebrate my 30th Birthday, wooohooo!!! They were having rainy day discounts so we ate and drank a lot there. We specifically want to thank Ms. Jinata (I hope I remembered her name correctly) for her good accommodation to all our queries. The rest of the staff are all accommodating as well. We had massage at Vara and it was awesome too! The pool was immaculate, lucky for us our room's balcony was connected to the pool, that was really a plus. Our room was just right, everything was working and clean, Wi-Fi was accessible anywhere within the hotel's facility. All in all, we were very happy and we are promoting Sawaddi to all our friends who want to visit Patong.

Definitely Recommend”

- Location: about a 10 minute walk or a three minute scooter ride before you arrive at Patong Beach. Same distance to get to Jungceylon shops. I liked that I wasn't right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. It gets exhausting and things are more expensive. - Staff: always incredibly helpful which made life easy for me as a solo traveler. Also, they took care of their guests in a number of ways. For example, they gave fresh fruit sticks to those sitting around the pool one afternoon. - Scooter hire: 100 baht more expensive than from the locals - even if you hire for multiple days at a time (300 baht per day instead of 200 baht). - Buffet breakfast: delicious. Staff are so kind in the kitchen. - Travel consultant: hotel pricing was MUCH higher than expected. As expected, hotels charge more for the convenience and service you receive. But this was a LOT more. I definitely recommend booking tours with people outside of the hotel. - Room service: food was great. - Cleaning service: Sawaddi has a note you can leave on the bed to reuse the same sheets instead of swapping them each day. The same idea is used for towels and I admire the initiative in saving resources. The only comment here is that the clean up is sometimes in the afternoon which can be a little disappointing when you're having a nap from an early morning start. - WIFI: wasn't the greatest. I had to sit in the bathroom to maximise my signal as my bed/desk area had a very weak signal and would drop out a lot. - Minibar: non-existent. I had tea, coffee and water available. Overall, a great hotel to stay at.

Nice hotel with good location”

I actually spent 4days 3nights in Phuket,and I chose to stay at Sawaddi patong hotel,it is a very well-furnished hotel,and its location is very good,it is only 5mins walk from the nightlife area Bangla rd,and it is very nice for guests to walk around and do some sightseeing in Phuket,btw,the room is very good,it is clean and simple.

very nice and clean hotel, not too far from the bangla road and patong beach only 5-10 mins walk. we have stayed in quite a few hotels all over thailand and paid nearly triple the rate what we did at the centara sawaddi hotel and received only a fraction of the care and friendlyness of the staff there. The room was perfect for our stay, very very clean great bathroom facilities which are sometimes hard to come by at the rate we paid. We would definately recomend the hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in phuket.

Awesome & totally worth the money!”

Sawaddi Patong Hotel surpassed our expectation as the room was not only clean & large but it also came with a splendid view of the pool. We absolutely loved the comfy bed with the pillows provided. Plus, there were 2 extra large towels provided for after-pool use. The balcony was great to chill at and there was a place for us to dry our wet clothes. Apart from that, room slippers and robe were also available to be used. Breakfast was okay with quite a number of varieties. Dining area was comfy with good ambience. Overall, two thumbs up & we would definitely go back there again :) Other than that,

Sawaddi Patong Hotel is located strategically from the Jungceylon shopping complex and Patong beach with walking distance approximately 10 minutes away from the hotel.Patong popular night-life such as discos,bars,massage centres and restaurants are also walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) from the hotel.Moreover,the hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful.Its superior room is spacious,clean and brightly lit.For couples or family with children who want a peaceful night to sleep after day-time hectic schedule,this hotel is absolutely appropriate and suitable.

Good place to stay in Patong !”

The location of the Sawaddi hotel is nice, far away from the noise of the so callled night life street "Bangla" road to enjoy quiet nights, and not too far that everything is reachable by walking. Pleasant staff overthere, helpful and moderate. Nice pool, bar & cocktails, and gym room. Very family friendly, with connecting rooms. Very nice breakfast at the restaurant, meals are also nice and cheap for lunch. Most of customers are chinese. Hotel is very clean. I would highly recommend the Sawaddi resort to family travelers.

Very nice hotel, but a bit of a walk to the beach”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sawaddi Patong, it is a very well run, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was one of the best I have had during my travels in Thailand, with a wide assortment of well prepared food. My room was spacious and clean, and had a large balcony overlooking the huge courtyard and swimming pool. The only real downside of this hotel was its distance to the beach, and the main strip along Bangla Road. At a normal pace, the beach was a good 15 minute walk away, and Bangla Road took close to 20 minutes. This would not all that inconvenient during sunny weather, but during a few days of my stay it was pouring rain, which made the walk quite an adventure. There are two busy streets to cross to get to Bangla Road, and three to the beach, and if you haven't tried to cross a street in Thailand before, this can be a bit of an adventure. Otherwise, this was an excellent hotel, great value for money compared to other hotels in Patong, and I would not hesitate to return, particularly as I don't mind walking.

5-star swimming pool with a 3-star price”

With this level of price, I can't expect to find a better hotel than Sawaddi Patong Hotel. It is European-stylist designed. It have a clean and tidy room. The staffs are helpful. The pool is big and the pool area makes me relaxed. It is not crowded over every corner of hotel. Unlike other hotels, the price for f & b here is much reasonable, just 190 bahts for breakfast buffet. If you don't mind just to take a few minutes to centre area of Patong, Sawaddi is a good choice you have to consider. I really enjoyed for my stay here.

I am a regular visitor to Patong and have stayed at a number of other 3-4 star hotels here including the Thara Patong and the Safari.This was the first time I had stayed at the Sawaddi. I think it offers exceptional value for money and it will certainly be my hotel of choice for future visits. In addition to everything else, the friendliness and efficiency of the staff made for a very relaxed and enjoyable stay

Pleasantly surprised”

We've visited Phuket many many times - this was our first time at Sawaddi Patong. It was a really nice hotel with wonderful helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Location was just far enough from the craziness of Bangla road during NY's celebrations but close enough to comfortably walk with a toddler in the pram & 4 year old. Pool was really nice with the added bonus of Happy Hour cocktails/beer every afternoon. Highly recommend this hotel for families.

Great location and amazing staffs”

This is our second time to visit Phuket but first time to stay in this hotel and our whole trip was amazing. Eventhough in our first day have a little hicap due to one of our friend got a minor motor bike accident but everybody in this hotel was very helpful to us and look after our friend very well. The room was fantastic with the view of the pool and they even prepare some small deco upon our arrival us me and my husband celebrating our 2nd yr anniversary. Location wise was very good walking distance to bangla street and not far from the main patong beach. But still this hotel manage to be so relaxing and quite eventhough so near to all this busy streets of patong. All staff is amazing, from reception to restaurants and pool. They never tired of smiling and make us feel home away from home, hospitality exceeds what we expected. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable amazing one, surely will come back and stay in this hotel again. It's worth the money and will recommend it to all our friends and travellers. Keep up the good job guys till the next trip we meet again.

Lovely get-a-way!”

we spent 3 days in phuket after a week on phi phi island. sawaddi offerred a great place to relax away from the beach chaos - yet a close enough walk or ride to dip into the madness when desired. the staff were amazingly warm, welcoming and helpful. we got 2 rooms that joined - so our kids had their own place. perfect place to retreat at the pool. if we go to phuket again we will stay there for sure.
