Wonderful resort with amazing staff and ambience”
We went to the Beach Village Resort and stayed 3 nights. After our stay, we both agreed that we would have loved to stay at least a week, maybe more. At first, we were welcomed by the staff with bottles of water and were guided to our bedroom suite. The suite was lovely with a lot of space for two persons. From our roof top we could enjoy an amazing sunset with drinks from the bar. The pool just outside our apartment was also excellent. Even though, there is a range of restaurants at the beach near by the resort, we ended up having dinner every night at the resort, since the food was excellent and the service as well. During the day, we went on different trips. The first day, we rented a scooter (Vespa) for 260 THB approx. at the resort and explored the national park nearby. The scenery and beaches were beautiful. The second day we went on a boad trip to the Monkey Island and the famous cave. With the last tour, the friendly Danish owner of the resort assisted with great advices of where to go, which proved very valuable. All in all a wonderful place, and I would definetely go back, and hopefully stay longer.

Comfortable and affordable luxury”
This place is partially an owner/occupant run complex where some of the units are privately owned and rented out as hotel rooms. This is not a bad thing, but one should be aware of this arrangement. The place is quite large, but each enclave of rooms gives you the feeling of a more intimate space, with a separate pool for each of 6-8 units. Beach Village Resort is NOT next to the beach, and it is a bit of a walk to the beach itself but we never minded this, and renting mopeds made it very easy and enjoyable to not only access the beach but the very beautiful Sam Roi Yod area itself. Better restaurant options away from the resort- especially Chomtalay Seafood..we ate there three times in four days and we had amazingly delicious seafood every time!!

Great resort with friendly staff”
this was my second visit to the beach village and this time i decided to stay 2 weeks. was yet another great experience and upon my arrival some of the staff recognized me from my previous visit. this resort is perfect for those people who want to relax and unwind and is only 30 minutes away from hua hin. it truly is a beautiful resort with staff always willing to assist where possible. while i was there i was informed by the sales manager that they also that the beach village came in as second best residential development in the hua hin area.

Easily the best hotel in this area”
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was lovely and quiet. Down a quiet soi, close to the beach. We walked to the beach-front in about 7 mins, but the Beach Village has bikes to rent for free, or you can rent a scooter for 250THB a day. Walking around the area, I was glad we chose this hotel. Breakfast wasn't a huge variety but was satisfying with real coffee. We ate both evening meals here after the 'buy one, get one free' cocktail hour between 5-6pm. Service was slow, but there was only one person serving, and one in the kitchen, both working very hard. Appetisers and mains came out together (grrr..) and as the appetisers seemed to be waiting for the main course, they were cold when served. We stayed in the superior one bedroom suite which was large, nicely decorated with great sized fridge and tea/cofee facilities (no kitchenette as adverstised on Agoda, unless they class a fridge and a kettle as a kitchenette)Even better if: they provided pool towels in the room and a safe. The pool area was right outside your door and each pool has around 8 suites around it. Only two sun loungers are provided though (with some plastic chairs) so if all suites were full, some arguments could ensue. Yes there is a roof terrace, but it's bare! Disappointing. We would definitely stay here again for a bit of relaxation in an unspoilt area.

Great location for relaxing”
The resort is more like a holiday house than hotel. The room has spacy dining/living room good enough to have a small party with friends satying at another unit. Simple decoration but clean and lovely. Staff were friendly to us as well as my dog. The rate was including breakfast at the restaurant in the resort and the resort allowed the guests w/dog to access the restaurant - it was terrace area but still great! One thing you have to be careful is, the article on the resort makes you feel that the resort is right in front of the beach but it is not. You have to walk a bit through the meadow or road (though you can borrow bicycle from the resort). It depends - walking to the beach can be a good exercise actually and my Mom, dog, and myself enjoyed the stay here. Perhaps my friends stayed at another unit as well.

Relaxing beach vacation”
Pros: as already mentioned, the staff at the hotel were wonderful. Very kind, helpful, generous and genuine. Our first night there, we arrived at midnight. We were very hungry, and even though the kitchen was closed, the manager opened it up and cooked us up some food. The hotel is also about a 1 minute bike (5 minute walk) to the beach. The resort is located in a very quiet part of the beach. There weren't too many food option, but all the restaurants we at at were very good and decently priced. One huge highlight was the location near a major national park. The beach is surrounded by lush mountains and forests. On our first day, we biked 15 km (although you can drive there in 10, or take a tuk tuk) to a beautiful mountain cave. Definitely worth the trip. Cons: there were some small stains in the corners of the hotel room, although I attribute this to being near the beach (moisture in the air). Also, the bathroom had somewhat of a musky smell. Otherwise, good accommodations.

Spacious rooms with good facilities and friendly service”
I stayed at The Beach Village with seven family members -- all adults and experienced travelers. We all enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was surprisingly good. Even the free breakfast was varied and excellent, with several nice touches -- such as an egg station and delicious multi-grain bread. We enjoyed having the pools in each section so it was only a couple of steps from our door to the water. Although billed as a beach resort, it is not on the beach -- which is 350 meters away. However, the resort makes up for this by providing free bicycles that make beach access only a short peddle away. The resort also offered rental motorcycles and mountain bikes at reasonable rates. There is a decent fitness room, a beach volley ball court and a broad lawn, but I particularly appreciated the basketball court. It was small, but at least they had one, unlike most other resorts.

Peaceful, clean, relaxing and friendly staff”
I really liked this place. The resort is very pretty and picturesque. The room was large, very clean, nicely equipped and comfortable. Living room. Bedroom. Bathroom. Mini bar. A carry bag with beach towels. And they have free bicycles to get to the beach which is just 2 mins away. What was great but hasn't been mentioned in other reviews was the rooftop chairs and loungers. A lovely way to watch the sun go down. Breakfast was good too. You can choose from about 8 different sets and its served in a pretty palapa style restaurant. All the staff were friendly and checking-in and out was simple. Recommended!

Fantastic relaxation and luxury”
Very isolated hotel (use directions on website for taxi) but that's what was so beautiful about it! Pools for every seven rooms and large living areas and kitchens! Great beds and fantastic staff - all very friendly! This resort is in a rural area and the resort has free bike rental or scooters for ฿350 per day (12usd/aud) - great to see the local beaches and national park and the local food stalls! Was a relaxing holiday. Breakfast has buffet cereal and fruit and toast and drinks and then they ask you for any order (free) including western (bacon, eggs, omelette, sausage) and eastern (congee, friend rice) - nothing was too much trouble! I would recommend and stay here again - such a nice change from heat, predictable markets, nightclubs and sleaze! We were a group of four and loved it!

Great place and location”
We stayed at The Beach Village Resort many times and every time we there never disappointed us...it is very good for value of money, location (we love the quiet and perfect for us to wake up with green coconut field), enjoy breakfast in beautiful restaurant area. Feel like you are in Bali. The beach is great not so far from the resort and quiet which is nice. I recommend this place if someone likes quiet and want to escape for a retreat.

A truly exceptional hotel. ”
Perfectly clean rooms. Large open spaces. Quiet. Well-informed Staff. Exceptional location. If you're looking for a resort within the Sam Roi Yot area, look no further than this place. This resort is deal is for couples, friends and those traveling solo. Families are fine too. The resort is fairly adjacent to nearby restaurants, boats/cabs for hire, minimarts and even ATMs. Plus, the bicycles provided are free for use. If you're coming to Sam Roi Yot for the first time, this is the first venue that you check out. I paid $60 for a 1 Bedroom deluxe that could easily fit 4 people. It even has a kitchenette, rooftop access and contemporary decor. Do bare in mind that this place has no night life whatsoever or any shopping mails either. This place is simply a 'chillax' zone only.

Excellent in all areas”
+Kind & happy staff +Large rooms +Rooftop views +Semi-private pool +Great food at restaurant +Short walk/cycle to beach (500m) +Many nature-themed attractions nearby +Quiet, peaceful and clean (both beach and resort) -Morning breakfast was well presented and covered all the basics, but could offer more variety beyond the basics (especially given the excellent quality of ordered food) -Inside the chalet, the first thing my wife spotted was the lack of a dressing table. Might be a worthy addition to the 2-bedroom chalets ;)

fantastic stay in this little piece of paradise ”
This is a great place to stay for a few nights or even a few weeks for those who wish to get away from it all. Resort located just off the main beach strip so access to other restaurants, bars etc possible but nice to get back to the peace and beauty of the hotel complex itself. Small individual units and very private pools, gorgeous plants and interesting bird life around. Bikes to loan to explore the bay - dawn and dusk rides particularly nice. Suitable for those who like the quiet life, close to nature.

Simply stay at your weekend house”
Our stay was OK. We wanted to escape from the busy of city life for 2 days so we tried this hotel. It feeled like we stayed at our weekend house surronding with neighbors. the hotel is indeed a village with small projects inside. Each project has arround 8 rooms with share swimming pool. Since the customers of the beach village can buy (own) the room and rent it to the hotel when they are away, so the decoration will be vary. Room size was not big but adequate for 2 people. It was located close to the beach but not next to the beach so you will not be able to see the beach from your room. What the hotel offers instead, is the green garden, moutain view and coconut trees, which we found they were alirght. sitting on the roof top, enjoy the sea breeze, the wind and the sound of coconut leaves with your drink and family or friends chat. The sea is about 10 minutes walk or 5 minute by bike. Plenty of food stall, local restaurant, hotels around there so dont worry about the food. if you like night life, there is also by the beach-local pub for you.

Great to stay with a group”
We stayed at Away Beach Village Resort with another family. The size of the rentals was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the restaurants and massage shacks. It was wonderful for all of us to be able to use the bicycles at night to travel out to eat. Group also enjoyed the expedition to see the elephants and monkeys.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Big clean rooms, quite and relaxing pool areas, rooftop patios, great breakfast, beautiful view of the mountains, lovely hotel grounds and gardens, and outdoor dining area. We had a great time here and highly recommend this location to get away from the busy areas and relax for a few days.... quick drive from the beach and beach-front restaurants.

Beautiful location ”
Spent 3 nights here whilst touring southern Thailand. We had a unit overlooking the Garden. There was a roof terrace but no shade so couldn’t sit up there. Most of the units are clustered around small swimming pools. We had the choice of 2 we could use but didn’t feel comfortable doing so as it felt as though we were intruding on the people in those units. The gardens were pretty so we sat there instead! Basic gym. Lovely beach, we had a car to drive there, I’d say it’s a bit far to walk in the heat. Girls were called in to do massage in our room. Restaurant was pretty with a good menu selection and tasty food. Lovely staff. Would stay here again. The units are about 70% owned and then rented out so some are better equipped than others, ours was a basic model.
