Budget Travel”
If you're on a very tight budget for travel in Chiang Mai, this may be the place for you to bunk in. Rates are incredibly cheap and the room is big. Do not expect too much from your already very cheap hotel. Bed is decent, there is tv and hot water. Do not expect 5-star ameneties, but you can expect a good rest away from the busy city centre. One major factor for staying here is the view. With this kind of price, you will still get a view of Doi Suthep. Which is a very good sight for any traveller thinking positive thoughts. Doi Suthep looks different all the time. The view in the morning, afternoon, evening... all looks different. Sometimes cloudy, sometimes clear... magical. But here's a warning, this place will be difficult for those who speak little or no Thai. It is also hard to access public transport. But here's an idea. Be generous, and don't haggle too much. Get the phone number of a driver on the way in... somebody you reckon you can trust (more or less), and have the person be contactable. Negotiate for that person to pick you up and drop you off wherever you want to go. The price of transport is mobility. So if you want to be mobile, pay. Don't be too tight with money. You're on a vacation anyway. If your budget is tight, maybe you should save up before planning for a trip. Maybe the trip is just not meant for you. This hotel is good for singles, couples, and families. And ample car park space for cars, pick-ups and even motorcycles.

good budget hotel”
Stayed here for 3 nights, the room was good and did not face any issues except for the time when the can drivers get confused due to multiple B2 properties in the area. it was clean and quiet. Its a good deal for the price as long as you dont care about the hotel having an elevator .

Basic & Cheap”
Do not expect 5-star comforts. If all you need is a room and an address for a short time in Chiang Mai, then this can be one of your options. It is rather tiresome to walk to town, even though on the map you'll see that it's really not that far from Maya and onwards to Nimman. But you may have to walk on the super highway, which is as good as russian roulette since local drivers are not known to have safe driving skills and patience towards pedestrians walking on the highway. Be careful. If you really need to move around from B2 to anywhere and back, a very honest and useful suggestion is to use the Grab application. Grab allows for you to book a taxi, or a privately driven vehicle (even though the private vehicle maybe flouting some local transport laws). The taxis know where you are cos you'll be on GPS. A tourist SIM card is not hard to obtain from any 7-11 or even before you leave your host country for this outward bound destination. Chiang Mai is not as deserted a province as some ditigal nomad may try to tell you. It's really very well connected and technology is fast and almost comparable to Bangkok or even other Asian countries. As for B2, it is a basic hotel where you can rest. Locals love this place cos it's functional and very affordable. You can try to walk-in without a booking, or you can just pay upfront using Agoda. Print it out and let the hotel have your booking slip. As simple as that. No deposit payment needed when you check-in. Please keep your expectations manageable as not all will agree that it is the most comfortable hotel to stay in. You can always explore other B2s in perhaps more accessible areas. There is no restaurant or pub or any F&B establishment at this hotel, but you can gently ask if the staff (if available) can ride his/her motorcycle to a nearby shop to get you some local food. Otherwise, you can also download KFC some food delivery app.

Simple place for the price you pay”
Compared to the price of a hostel bed and a standard room at B2 Santhitham when I needed a quiet space. This place can give what I wanted at that time. However, B2 has 15 locations in Chiang Mai. And it is a confusing for Grab drivers to find where it is. When I used Grab service. They dropped me off B2 Santhitham-Chedyod which is another B2 Santhitham. Only it is 1.5 kilometer away from where I have to check in. The standard room was okay for the price I pay. They use YORK airconditioning in the room. Which is good and low noise machine. Sufficient lighting and decent sockets you can connect to 3 devices. Fair enough. Decent bathroom with water heater.

Worth the price. Close to Niman Road and shopping”
It was worth the price. Staying on the 4th floor is the best. Having frineds staying lower level and there was water leaking over the cieling. No breakfast provided but can find something else to eat around there. My room was very clean. The maid came to clean the room when you hang the label in front of your room. Near the airport (15-20 min from the airport). Close to shopping center and Nimman road. The only disadvantage I found so far is sometimes it's noisy from the pub opposite to the hotel.

Great for a stopover but not for a holiday.”
Cheap price in a local neighborhood not too far from Nimman (Maya Mall, One Nimman) and close to a lot of Street food in Santitham. Room didn't have a proper window and was very dark. There was no elevator. Perfect place for a short stopover, but not a holiday.

What u pay is what u get!”
for the price, i was looking for a place with internet! this place provides me everything i need and surprisingly it is rather conveniently located to restaurants and some local eateries and entertaininment pubs. a couple of things for improvement: 1. internet - though it is free, i have to get 3 separate user id and password for each of the device i had with me. 2. powert outage - not sure if this is a chiang mai thing, but it happened way too frequent for me! day and night it can be frustrating especially i had to login to all the internet wireless again!

Great for price don't understand bad reviews”
Great for the price. Got a room on the top floor and I was very happy. It's in the student area so there are cheap places all around to do laundry, eat, or use a computer. You will need your own transport since it's not in the old city but there is Uber now so avoid those songtaews. I wouldn't stay here to be a tourist though. I came to visit friends that live in the area. If you're a tourist go to the old city. Good clean place at a good price.

Clean place, nice service.”
The room is very fresh, clean, and quiet. I have enjoy a couple of comfy nights. It'd be much better if the hotel will e-mail/agoda-mail us about the 500 bahts room deposit in advance so that we will be prepared. Will be there again for sure.

Good for price, quiet location”
I had a fairly comfortable stay. The staff were good to me, and polite. My room was on the fourth floor and there was no lift, so that was a bit troublesome. But there's a restaurant-cum-pub just across the street and in the evening that was very useful. There's a shop selling daily need items at the reception 24 hours, so that was also pretty useful. I would however recommend not to buy shaving razor from this shop, as the one I looked at had hair stuck to it! The Nimmanhaemin street, which is a shopping street, is close by. Overall, it's a good hotel for the price.

Clean room”
Everything is fine except Agoda needs to show us about deposit information. The hotel will demand 500 bahts room deposit. The thing is ATM machine is pretty rare around that area. Otherwise, if the hotel inform us about this matter through Agoda message, that would be excellent.

comfortable”
it's quite good for its location, near the business area of Chiang Mai. unluckily, I've got the room on the stair side. so it's quite loud and annoying

Low Standard B2 probably the lowest”
Pro: All the staff is very helpful and well mannered. Every single staff is nice. Cons: 1.Bathroom is seriously bad, broken and smelly. 2.Rooms has two light bulbs in front of a door which makes it hard to see or read any paper inside the room. 3.Not comfy bed. 4.Very Limited Parking space. Did not expect this B2 to be in such a low standard quality hotel. Never thought B2 would allow this to happen. Th3 bathroom is seriously in bad shape. The toilet cover seats is broken and the roof is stuff with tissue paper to shut the holes. The bathroom smells like a graveyard.

Great place to stay”
The room is clean and the facilities are proper. The location is very near to Nimman and suitable for those who have a car. Just 3 mins to the city centre.

Coming back here? Likely not”
The hotel is located in a narrow street and it is a U-shape structure so every bit of noise can be heard and is significantly echoed. Big parties from across the street till 5 a.m. I am not sure how comfortable the upstairs rooms are, but I was assigned a small room on the first floor with concrete walls and practically no lights. The toilet was so small that I could barely get thru. And, you have 10 inches to take a shower with one foot practically in the toilet bowl. There was a window on the back side which looked out to a big fan sticking out from the building on the other side. So, I needed to keep the backdoor closed. I had few sleepless nights due to noise and moved on with no hesitation. The location is likely the only thing that was positive.
