Best Place to Stay Near Exhibition Center”
This is the 2nd time that we are staying here and probably the best hotel to book if you're going to a convention in the Beijing Exhibition Center. Not recommended if you are in Beijing for another purpose because location is very far from the heart of the city.

Travelodge ”
Really convenient for the exhibition centre, just a 3 minute walk. But room is very dated, needs updating and could smell smoke when people were smoking around - I'm guessing in other rooms. Also a slight damp smell on and off in the room. More like an upmarket 2 star. Most of the staff were great, bent over backwards to assist. I wouldn't recommend unless you really need to be close to exhibition centre, but too expensive when exhibition is on. For £10 more a night I got a 5 star pretty close to the centre.

The only hassle is that it is relatively difficult to hire a taxi because of its location. Even the concierge staff felt frustrated when no response from call centre of taxi station.

Hotel was comfortable and a very reasonable price, but the rooms had a constant sewerage smell, beds rock hard, the restaurants were very average, and the staff were not always helpful.

Reception staff is not polite at all. Don't even tell me the room no. and wrote the room no. wrongly. Luckily I did ask them for the room no. and found out they wrote wrongly. The location is not conveniently located, took quite some times to reached hotel. Gave the wrong type of room and the bathroom lights is not working, when I informed them about this, the answer I get was just using the corridor lights, and they didn't have the intention to change the bulb or room for me =.='' Book at your own risk!

北京北駅から徒歩10分くらい／空港からタクシーで100元ちょっと。泊まる上での不便は特にありませんがコスパでは少々割高だと思います。大通りまで結構歩かないと店もないので買い物もできず、館内のショップで買うビールは300mlの小瓶で1本30元。高すぎです。翌日北京北駅から長城に列車で行く人、朝早く動物園に行きたい人には便利だと思います。

객실 무료인터넷과 티비겸 컴퓨터가 있어서 좋았으나, 지하철 역과 역 사이라서 어중간하고 콜택시가 잘 안옴, 조식시에는 현관을 나가서 다른 건물에 가서 먹음. 북경전시장에 볼일이 있을 시에는 이용하면 엄청 좋음. 바로뒤!
