Location is Amazing ! ”
Pros - Location - mins walk from the great wall! - the family running the inn are super lovely and kind. - the valley in which it is located is very scenic - Can walk to Jingshanling great wall in a couple of hours , the walk is awesome - Can sleep on the wall at this location (if you want) Cons - food actually at the Inn is in my opinion slightly over priced. . but i am on a back packing budget. (breakfast 25 yuan, lunch and dinner 50 yuan). It is about 45 mins walk into Gubeikou village where there are other food options).

Very close to the Great Wall”
For the pros: Angela speaks english and helpep us plan our hike on the Great Wall...the hike was fantastic! The Inn is a 5 minutes walk to Gubeikou Great Wall ticket entrance and is incredible playground for kids (the best in China so far). The Inn has full amenities and have an excellent restaurant where you eat the meal of the day (always different). The cook is great with fresh ingredients from their garden. Angela can also pack a lunch for your trekking. For the cons: It is a 30 minutes walk from the village.

Great location right next to Gubeikou Great Wall, great host”
Very friendly staff, the host speaks good English and can arrange anything from packed lunch, wall tickets to pick up from Bejing. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, room is basic but large & comfortable including AC. Very nice experience, hope to be back on day.

Lovely Family Stay”
The room is big and clean, group of 4 of us checked into the 4 beds room. The home cook meal was to die for! The Panloong Great Wall is just 15mins walk away. This is the natural Great Wall, non-commercialised, very quiet and very well preserved. The walk can be a bit tough for there is no barrier, but we did the hike, and the view up was amazing. Found a large nature wooden playground at the foot of great wall using only wood which I can imagine my kids will love it if they were with me. Will definitely be back with my family of young kids. Amazing hospitality, They do not provide towels, please bring your own. 15 mins car ride to Gu Bei Water Village and Shi Ma Tai great wall.
