Excellent Airport Hotel Option, Wrong Address on Confirmation Email ”
Great location, perfect for a short stay close to Beijing Capital Airport. A great value even without the last-minute rate we got. We needed someplace close to PEK with an airport shuttle because of an early morning flight, and this fit the bill perfectly. As far as hotels in China go, it does a pretty good job of catering to Western preferences. One of the front desk night staff spoke decent English. If you want excellent English, go to England. The shuttle ran promptly on the hour. There were a bunch of different restaurant options right off the lobby, and 10-15 more just across the street, including a mini-mart and a comfy sort of speakeasy with a legit selection of non-baijiu liquors. The address provided with the confirmation email was for a competing hotel about a 5 minute drive away from CITIC, which was frustrating, but I would suspect the agoda website is to blame for that. Our Didi driver and a bellman at the other hotel were able to sort it out fairly quickly.

Clean and comfortable room near Beijing Capital International Airport”
The hotel is located some 7-10 minutes from airport. There is a free bus shuttle service from Terminal 3 to the hotel every hour, from 5:15am till 12:15am; from hotel to all terminals 5am-12:00 midnight. Hotel's front desk is friendly and helpful. They have helped me with the shuttle bus timetable as well as booked taxi for me at 5:30am in the morning. Room is clean, nice and spacious. Extra power extensions are provided in each room with enough to charge my tablet, phones, and computer. There are also shuttle bus service to Beijing City Centre, hence, really no complaints or whatsoever about its location. Highly recommended for any traveler to Beijing.

Room was great and the bed perfect. Only down size was the one restaurant. $50 bucks for a steak , half potato and some veg with a piece of cheese cake and one bottle of bud. Steak was thin and quality poor served rare when I asked for med. Oh well. BTW.. stayed here because Air China changed my 4 hour lay over to 24. hmm....

Convenient and affordable for transit passengers”
If you have a 1 night stay in Beijing, this is an excellent and very affordable option. The shuttle bus runs from the airport to the hotel at 15 minutes past the hour (starting at 05:15) and runs from the hotel the airport on the hour (starting at 05:00). If that time doesn't work for you, a taxi should be around 20 RMB. There are several restaurants across the street from the hotel, along with a convenience store, and pharmacy. We liked the hot pot restaurant which just over 200 RMB for the 4 of us. The rooms are small but fine for one night. Bathroom is stock with 2 toothbrushes and small toothpastes. We would definitely stay there again.

Having chosen the hotel for its proximity to the airport and outdoor pool I was disappointed not to have been told in advance that the pool would be closed for maintenance work for the duration of my stay. However, I was provided with a room upgrade which was a kind gesture.

The Hotel is in a great location not far from the airport and offers a shuttle bus service. The staff's attitude is unfortunately not good. For such a Hotel and I stayed in the best Hotels of the world needs to be improved a lot there is lack of training I can see. Their attitude is terrible to say the least. They could not care less. The restaurant food is ok not special however here to the staff's attitude is terrible. Hardly anybody speaks English they do not understand the menu and staff changes every time I go there. I only choose the Hotel because if its location and value for money .

Good location. Restaurants including Swiss Restaurants ok but not special Receptionist on most occasions not friendly at all. Seems to me every time I go there (because of the location) they have new staff not very well trained at all. Overall ok if you ignore the service of the staff

Hotel ageing but clean . Lobby staff very friendly . If eating stick to Chinese or go to one of restaurants outside. - DO NOT TRY THE CHICKEN TANDOORI unless you want to disappoint someone !!

Good Mid-range hotel”
NIcely appointed rooms with a decent bed. Breakfast spread was very good with western and local dishes. Pleasantly surprised by the amount of staff who spoke english to a good level. Location was right by subway station making it easy to get around beijing and to the airport

Great for layover”
The hotel itself is positioned very close to the airport and you can easily get there for about 20y. It has plenty of little shops and a bank nearby that you can access. It has its own bar and a few restaurants that you can eat at. The outdoor pool is great to relax at whilst waiting for your flight. The hotel also has its own gym and other fairly valuable facilities. Cons: the rooms are fairly dated and poorly cleaned. the staff were extremely unhelpful especially on our arrival, they didn't even showed us to our rooms or where to go and we had to walk around aimlessly trying to find our room. The staff speak extremely minimal English and some of the things advertised in their hotel such as exchange is not actually available so be careful and make sure you get to a bank. The internet is practically non-existent and you can only access basic apps such as WhatsApp.

Don't expect high standard”
Pros: --Shuttle bus was on time and free. --Spacious room with two stories (1 st floor had a large desk, couch, cabinet containing alcohol, and bathroom; 2nd floor was a bed and a bathroom). Came with basic amenities. Western style bathtub, so you wouldn't take shower and make the whole bathroom wet, including the toilet and the floor. --4 restaurants plus a bar and a light meal shop. They accepted a Visa card. Cons: --I saw someone's clipped nails on the room floor. The floor was not properly vacuumed. --The quality of food was not high. We tried the Japanese restaurant and the breakfast buffet at the Swiss restaurant. --Only 2 out of 4 elevators worked (the hotel had 11 floors). The wait was so long one time that we ended up using a staff-only elevator without permission. --When we checked in, we were not informed that we had to insert our key card to use the elevator. I saw a group of French-speaking guests having trouble using the elevator. --No smiles from the staff.

The room is smelly. Can’t charge the phones if turn off all the lights. Strange design. Lack staff service at the reception when checking out.

Noisy Refurbishment, Unfriendly reception staff”
I do not recommend this hotel. The refurbishment is very noisy during the day which means you cannot work or sleep in your room. Unfriendly reception staff. I booked an early arrival but the staff argued that this did not mean an early check-in, therefore I had to wait for my room. The room they then allocated me was not on a high floor or quiet and was of poor quality, small and chips on the paintwork. I then had to request another room which was then better.

Great location, nice rooms”
room was comfortable and clean, the small details were nice (fruit plate,toiletries and slippers.) the local neighborhood was a pleasant area for a short stay, we enjoyed a couple walks and see the local culture. we had a nice lunch at a nearby restaurant and did a bit of shopping at the local grocery store. we originally chose the hotel for pool and the airport shuttle service. we were not disappointed. the pool was a pleasant temperature and a perfect way to relax with my kids. the airport shuttle bus (traveling from the hotel was reliable, on-time and able to take all our large suitcases. thanks citic hotel for a great last few days in beijing.

CITIC Hotel Beijing Airport is quite a nice transit hotel. I quite enjoyed staying in this hotel when I transit to Beijing and will absolutely stay at this hotel when I transit to Beijing. The service is good. Personally, I would very glad to recommend this hotel either for personal trip, business, couples,family trip especially as a transit hotel.
