We stayed there for a total of 3 nights (2 nights when we landed and one more before our take off). Located very close to the city center of Catania and offer modern and clean rooms for a fair price. Nothing to compare to other hotels around.

The staff buzzed us in through the imposing wooden doors, walking us through a large, friendly courtyard to the office for a quick and easy check-in process. First impression of the area is " rough" but we were wrong . Within 10 min walk there are the nice streets and up market shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful B & B, a five-star room with a six-star breakfast. Food is really top quality. The hotel is good but on arrival I wasnt given the room I had booked for and was transferred to another hotel for the first night which had a great quantity of steps. The hotel said that the room for the first night was a small room so not good for me. I got the room the next morning at about 1015 am .
The service was excellent. The owner was very friendly, helpful and extremely polite (I had a key accident on the street door around 4 am and the owner was very kind even if he was sleeping) . You feel right at home in this charming apartment. The main door downstairs is a challenge to open so make sure you have Claudia show you the trick. Also getting into the parking lot is a very tight maneuver and there's a charge of 5€/day for the space.
The room & b'fast area were very clean and the guy in charge was very accomodating. It is set in a very old building however; no lift is available but this was known to us.

Hotel was fine. It has an old world feel to it and is very charming. Staff are also very gentle and helpful. I found it strange to have to pay €8 extra per day just for parking in the grounds - not in garage.
