The hotel was beautiful and the room was comfortable. However, the room heater in one of the rooms we booked wasn’t working so we had to ask for a portable heater. There is a big shopping mall near it (3 minutes walk) with a lot of food and shopping options. The room view was a castle at a theme park near it (Rommon U-Park) which was beautiful.
The hotel is nice but i was very impressed with some staff members. A special mention to Ms Queenie in the restaurant who helped me with breakfast when i didn't want to eat a buffet. Ms Queenie was very helpful and the hotel should be proud of such good people. All staff in the restaurant were very friendly.

I love New Century Ninghai Hotel compared to most of the other hotels I stayed in Ninghai with the exception , which is a 5 star hotel. I personally recommend international travelers stay at this hotel if they are here in Ninghai for business.

Small city with limited things to do unless you drive. Tianyi square and hotel surroundings are places to walk about for food and minimal shopping.

Ningbo is a nice and surprisingly quiet city of around 4 million people in the urban area. Lots of nice and cheap Chinese restaurants as usual.
a bit disappointed about this historic city. the old city almost gone. you can find some old compounds around the Zhongshan Park.
Ningbo - and Sofitel Wanda Hotel - is a great way to end our 18 day China trip. The city offers a more relaxed and casual atmosphere without compromising on the vibrancy and energy of shopping and the nightlife.

As I stay in Suzhou, Jiangsu. Ningbo is like a new city with fast level of development, many transportation facilities may not so good.
An industrial city that has grown a lot. Hotels near the airport are no good. You have to stay downtown
