"Receptionist very pleasant & restaurant staff very good.We were in a 'standard' chalet which was really substandard & at the rear of property. It looked OK online but appeared to be one of the oldest & badly in need of renovation. They do have a renovation program in process but I would advise paying more & staying in one of the other options offered. Cobbled pathways are in a poor state & could be of danger to older people.Although cleaners were busy cleaning up leaves & discarded plastic bottles & items about the property, there was a lot of garbage, mostly plastic about behind the chalets & in drains etc. It was sad to see so much plastic waste discarded about the island despite many signs saying green zone & pick up waste etc about. On the other side of the island through the jungle track there was a multitude of washed up garbage, mostly fishing nets & plastic bottles, seemingly out of site & out of mind.Overall though Pulau Kapas is a great place to visit & relax."
