"My family and I stayed at hotel boss for 4 days in a family room with balcony (good for 4 pax).Over all the hotel room is brand new since the hotel just started last year. Everything are still crisp. Staff are all nice, helpfull, accomodating and smiling. The location is great, there are 2 MRT stations near it (Bugis Statiob and Lavender Station) which is about 5 minutes away through walking and a bus stop just right outside the hotel door. Mustafa center and bugis shopping mall is near. There are also tourist attractions near the area like Haji Lane wall art and Mosques. There is a 24/7 fast food chain (food clique) within the hotel premises which I find convenient because you don't have to worry getting hungry after a long day walking around singapore. A money changer, convenient store, restaurants, winery, and souvenir shops are also in the premises. I just hope they would maintain its cleanliness and beauty. Our room is small though for a family of 4. Our big suitcases can't just be open all the time because it'll obstruct our walk way and there is no closet. And also you have to request for a "Do not Disturb" sign, sometimes they're running out of it. Room lighting is nice and the wall art at the bed frame is beautiful. The balcony is big and spacious. Bathroom is nice, and clean with amenities; no bidet spray though. Shower temperature is good. Room is complete with compact fridge, tv, safety box, water boiler, and compimentary coffee & tea. The bed is good, didn't feel any back pain and good fluffly soft pillows. Nice hotel amenities with their pool overlooking Singapore Flyer and the tip of Marina Bay Sands. Generally the Hotel is at great great location, brand new, best value for money, and comfortable place to stay. I would choose to stay at this hotel again once I'm back in singapore. I would rate this hotel 9/10 👏👏👏👍. My family had a great time and payment is hassle free thanks to agoda ☺️👍. Satisfied guest here! Great Job Hotel Boss! "

"This hotel is really clean with decent size rooms, great pool, very friendly staff. It is really good value for money for Singapore, as I got it in a pretty good deal with breakfast. Breakfast is mostly western-style buffet and it is ok, nothing amazing. Some things can run out if you eat late. The hotel is located about 4-5 minute walk from Nicolle MRT station, with last train at about midnight. Taxis are easy to use too. The hotel is not located in the most touristy area in Singapore, but it is also not as noisy. There are a few hotels nearby, an office biulding, hawkers markets just across the road, a few resturants, 7/11 a few minutes walk- so you will see a mix of locals and tourists on the street. Overall this is a good and safe area, and it is about 2 km from Marina Bay so it is all very close. This hotel is good if you’re looking for an affordable option for a decent 4 star hotel in a great location and willing to compromise for the luxury and famous hotel strip experince. "

"We are so happy that we chose to spend 5 night a brand new Yotel. *The staff- Very polite caring and helpful. (the best staff we ever had in a hotel) They helped us with planning, adjusted for us the menu to our vegan twists, even cheak and printed for us information about an event in the city! *The location - Perfect location very close to ION mall and MRT station. we mostly used buses. it is nicer to see the city this way (bus stop is even closer and located in front of Thailand embassy) we also liked the hotel located on the beginning of Orchard street. it is very easy to take a bus to see all the street. Since it's a one way street you can get out each time in the stop you like. * The room - small as most rooms in Singapore hotels but designed very smart and functional! we felt like in a space-ship with cool view on the city skyline. * facilities - 10th floor is Amazing! the gym is very good and new! The restaurant is amazing with very good prices. We got a 50% discount for breakfast for choosing to eat only fruits and veges in the morning :) kitchen is open till 22:30 and we used to get nice evening vegan fruit and veges salad that was adjusted for us! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality. we relay appreciate every one of you! You are areal Pros! Best Regards, Daniel & Sarit "

"I really can't believe reviews i've read here before our tour. they said the blankets are thins, rooms are very small, etc. but for us everything was just perfectly right including the price we paid for it. we went to Singapore for a 4days 3nights vacation. we arrive at the hotel at around 1pm and the receptionist was very courteous and accommodating. he suggest us to leave our bags first while waiting for check-in time at 3pm. he was very smiling face and approachable the whole time of our stay there. well, the rooms are not small. it was just right for a couple, plus we're not even staying all day inside our rooms so who cares. the blankets are not too thin, and you have all the power to adjust the air-conditioning of the room so if you think its too cold you may just turn it off. the hotel doesn't have foods/beverage to sell so they told us it's okay to bring foods upstairs except for durian. Singapore is a non-smoking place, you can't just smoke everywhere but they put designated area for smoking and you'll find it in every bus stop. so, luckily since we are a smoking couple we find the bus stop beside the hotel very useful. you may want to visit street foods of chinatown, ride a bus on the bus stop opposite side of the hotel "bef balestier plaza" then alight to "maxwell". Chinatown has the cheapest souvenirs in SG plus in chinatown complex you'll find Hawkers food- their famous street food. also try soya milo and dessert corn in ice. if you'd visit sentosa ride " bef balestier plaza" and alight to "Vivo City" then buy 3dollar ticket to sentosa or just use your EZ paylink top-up card. We visited Universal studios and siloso beach there. we have enjoyed the new york streets of universal studios and the battleship ride. Siloso beach has a very short shoreline however they have the finest sand i've ever seen. You may also want to try HIPPO topless tour bus. Book online thru viator.com it's 20dollars only unlike if you'd book there you'll pay 27dollars."

"A nice hotel in a very good location close to Bugis market and Rochor MRT . Had requested early check in but was not offered . Was offered early checkin a payable room upgrade which did not opt for. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfy but rooms are very small . With 2 luggages open there won't be a place to stand also but guess that's common in all hotels in Singapore. The best part of the hotel was the Handy phone which was provided which helped us during the stay and also book Attraction tickets with huge discounts. "

"I've mostly stayed in the 2, 3-star Singapore hotels for most of my travels there since I hardly use the rooms. But this time around, I decided to bump up and booked the York Hotel. Although it's probably a 5-10 min walk from Orchard Road, it's actually not that bad. Sits right beside the Hospital and across the boutique Quincy hotel. It's clean, looks classy, newly renovated it seems, so it's fresh and not as stuffy as the other 3/4-star hotel range. Overall, worth the upgrade of 50$ from your usual 100$-range hotel line. Cons, not a lot of cable channels, tub-size is same as other 3-stars, but much much cleaner. No free breakfast. But other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those that don't want to spend for 5-star hotels, but want an upgrade from the 3-star range."

"We decided a to book at this hotel because fairly priced rooms. It's hard to find a good hotel in Singapore with a fair price, but this hotel has a great location and fairly priced. We paid around $590 for a 5 night stay, and it was great. There are 2 bus stops just minutes away from the hotel, and the receptionists would happily guide in taking the bus and the mrt. They'll tell you the best route to take where ever your destination is. Food in there restaurant is fair, but for a SGD10 buffet breakfast, that's value for money right there. All in all our stay was great, staff was really helpful. Room and bathroom is clean although a bit small but that wouldn't matter if you're going to spend most of your time outside your hotel. The hotel's surroundings are a plus, there are convenient stores nearby and some decent and cheap food to eat just minutes away from the hotel. I had a fun stay in this hotel and would recommend it to anyone planning on visiting Singapore. "

"It's located just behind Orchard Road and within less than 10 minutes walking distance to Somerset or Dhoby Ghaut MRT. It's an old hotel, so the room was actually quite spacious if a little worn. The staffs were also very nice. The en suite bathroom and toilet was clean. There was no facilities like gym or swimming pool, but that was not an issue because we were here to travel around not lounging by the pool. Overall, definitely one of the better value for money hotel in Singapore. "
