Although not a new hotel Cookies is welcoming, with big rooms on the pools side, looking out over the sea. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and efficient and the location is close to all facilities. I’m a great fan of Cookies 😊

Humble and caring staff”
The staff will go out of their way to try and cater for any requests you might have, whether it is calling a taxi or changing something you would prefer to. Some of the fittings and features may appear rudimentary but this is Koh Chang after all, not Bangkok. But the willingness of the staff to help is what counts in the end. There is also a beautiful pool literally by the long beach where you can relax until it is warm enough to go into the sea or shower off afterwards. The breakfast is adequate with Asian and European options. The hotel is in two parts with the older bit by the sea and the newer one (which has more modern features I guess) on the other side of the road. Most kinds of shops and services (including ATM's) can be found close by, though if you want a mobile or something electrical looked at you will have to go a few kilometres south. There is also a very handy travel agent close by who was able to book me a taxi to Bangkok at short notice for a reasonable rate.

Good for couples and single travellers ”
Plus= near beach, fridge, safety box, balcony, view, close to food and general shopping. Minus= every night live music from the road, very noisy until late. Breakfast is very boring with standard choices, no yoghurt, but will do for start up the day. Fun fact: the handshower had a very short tube, så could not stand beneath it. Had to bend down for cleaning shampoo off the hair. I am 170cm. For children not so excellent conditions. No slides, no playground, sreps are very high and balcony has very unsecure fence with wide space

Great room. I had a Seaview which was brilliant. On the beach where the nighttime beach restraints are. The issues are around the room cleaning and is fairly minor, the balcony table wasn't checked so you would have to bring everything including Ash tray contents in to the bin or it'll be there tillyou check out. Shower was low pressure and the water was never very hot. But that said I would stay here again.

A great 3-star hotel, whose location can hardly be better. 20 metres to the fantastic beach, 20, metres to the road where you can find all amenities, 20 metres to the pool! Very friendly and helpful staff.

We been here at twice and Love it! Pretty good restaurants next to. Fresch swimmingpool, for adults or children. Beach is just outside and free towels in lobby. Sunbeds at pool is free. Sunbeds on beach available for 30bth. Average standard on room and bathroom. Noisy aircon. Room cleaning is good. Baybycot for 100bth/night. Extra bed expensive 5-700bth! Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast acceptable. Nice place to be for a week or so 👍🏻

Location perfect, White Sand Beach and sea was only few steps from the the hotel and the pool. Only option is choose the room near the pool, then you could enjoy the wiew from the balkony also night time. Outside noise was quit hard in the evening because of the bar, where was live music every night.

Last Min Vacation ”
We took a last min vacation from Bangkok. We drove down. We parked our car in the parking from the hotel across the street, that they own as well. Our room smelled musty/old, but the view was great. It is right on the beach. We had to rent chairs for 30B. There are restaurants along the beach. We did not chose the breakfast option. Which is good as it is not on the beach it is in the property across the street. W have young kids and so that meant crumbs. We woke up to ants on the floor. We went to the beach while the cleaned. Staff was nice. Please could use some updating. Beach view is awesome!

The only rooms were across the road, the rooms overlooking the pool and beach have a far better location. Although it did mean we didn’t have to cross a busy road for breakfast! Breakfast is ok. She makes a wonderful omelette! The rooms were functional and clean. They have a safe but it isn’t bolted down... Aircon ok but noisy. The chances of getting a sun lounger by the pool or beach are zero as towels are put over them as people get up, ready for tomorrow. I’d go back but I’d check out others in the price range first.
