Very good hotel for those wishing to stay near the airport. City is at least an hour drive though. Room service was ok but slow. English speaking staff was by far and few, especially in the restaurant. We had to point to other customers’ food to convey our order. Offputing. A smile goes a long way. Some staff look so curt and distant. They should be more friendly to customers.

Due to injuries I have difficulty standing. Your room was just the right size for me to get around in in a wheelchair, shower (using the wall to brace myself), and sleep. I just wish there were some ADA grab bars in the shower, and that the wallpaper wasn't peeling in places.

Did the job for my overnight stay in Beijing ”
Had an overnight stay in Beijing and this hotel provided a good place to stay. I am comparing this hotel to my hotel experiences outside of Beijing/ China as this was my first stay there; Pros Decent location- not the closest hotel to airport but around 10-15 mins with free shuttle Good breakfast God reception/ restaurant staff Large room- not the newest but decent Cons Not a great concierge- the service level was not great; could have communicated better and provided more info TV had poor reception for international channnels Some of the support staff were not ‘service’ orientated Overall would recommend this hotel and stay again as was safe and clean.

Tired Hotel”
The Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel in Beijing suffers from China syndrome. Build something and then never maintain it and let it deteriorate. The hotel grounds are appalling - most weeds and bushes. The pond by the deck is gross - covered in green slime. The tennis court has been totally neglected and the remainder of the grounds are over-grown bushes and weeds. The room was worn out. The carpet needs replacing, wallpaper is peeling off the wall, the headboard is torn, black mold in the shower, etc. The staff was excellent and worked hard to take care of things. Breakfast in the morning was top-notch.

Totally a bad quality hotel - i don't understand why they use the Crown Plaza name ”
It is the worst hotel I had stayed so far. 1. I arrived hotel at 3:00am due to flight delay 2. The hotel gave me the door key with mal-funciton, and keep exchange the door key for 4 times without success. as a result, it took almost 45 minutes, I could finally got into the room and slept.... 1st door key---- i cannot access to the upper floor and the lift does't read that card 2nd door key --- i cannot access to my room they exchanged for the 3rd door key ----- i cannot access to my room 4rd card - after I shout to the Manager, they finally arranged the 4rd door card that i could access to my room finally, but it took me almost 45 minutes.... it is a foolish,,,,, I will recommend all customers don't stay in this hotel.... it is extremely horrible....

Good Location”
The Crowne Plaza Beijing International Airport is conveniently located 10 minutes from the Capital Airport Terminal 2, and across the New Exhibition Centre (5 minute walk). Rooms are smaller and a bit older than usual, but nontheless in a good condition and comfortable as well. Gym is ok, pool is quite nice, breakfast is ok, and one of the Chinese Restaurants on second floor offers good and basic food without being overpriced. All in all a good pick for all the exhibitors and visitors of various exhibitions.

Good Pick for Exhibitions in Beijing”
The Crowne Plaza Hotel International Airport Beijing is a really good pick for your stay during exhibitions in the Beijing New Expo Centre, just a 5 minutes walk away. There's also a food mall across the Expo Centre, so options are not only limited to restaurants in the hotel (which of course are not bad at all!) Staff was friendly and professional, the breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and in good condition, although not that modern as in other branches.

Good for Airport stay over”
We stayed for one night as arriving late in Beijing. We had pre-arranged the airport pick up with the hotel via email and received confirmation that the bus would be waiting for us. The exit was specified with details, however did not need to look out for anything since we where greeted by a hotel delegate right next to the exit from after we claimed our luggage. Shuttle bus runs every 30mins during usual operating hours and can be catched easily outside the Terminal building (follow signs to buses) as well as from the hotel lobby to the Airport. I was quite surprised by the distance of the hotel to the Airport, at least T3 (mainly international). It would be closer to T2. Room is nice with pleasent facilities like a bathroom with a large glass front, lounge chair and movie channels. Our room was spacious with good quality bed and pillows. We booked with breakfast which was rather disappointing for us. There is a lot of choice, however the standard of the quality of the food is way below what you would expect or what you get in other Crowne Plaza hotels. Booking breakfast is still a good option if you dont want to look for alternatives since there is not much around the hotels in terms of shops or restaurants. If you are heading to the airport, you might consider getting breakfast there with plenty of choice of local and international options. Staff in general was very welcoming and accomodating. Certainly service quality is what i will rememeber and made this a pleasent stay for us.

Great Hotel near the Airport”
Crowne Plazas are great hotels to stay. This was no exception. Enjoyed my stay. The staff are great the hotel is awesome and the gym was adequate for a good workout. A bit out of the city but its proximity to the Exhibition Centre and Airport make it the best choice for expos or short overnight stays. The restaurants serve great food but options are limited. The adjacent mall has some good options. The cafe and lounge are great to relax after a hard day.

Very good location if you do participate in an exhibition in the Beijing New Expo Centre, it's just a 5 minute walk from the hotel to there. Also right across the Expo Centre is a big mall with some nice restaurants. The CP itself had an attentive service, clean rooms in a well kept condition, gym & pool was ok, breakfast also. All in all, if you like the Crowne Plaza chain, you won't be disappointed.

Overnight in PEK”
Hotel is relatively close to the airport with free shuttle transportation every 30 min. Transfer time in about 15min with moderate traffic conditions. Warning - you need to call the hotel and confirm your arrival time and MEETING POINT!! During my first stay here I looked for 45 minutes to find a meeting place for any hotels (and there are none). No one in the airport was able to help until I stummbled across one information desk where the employees english was moderate - finally, he was able to call the hotel and they found me (was a long wait after flying for 17hrs). So...moral of the story - call ahead to hotel and they meet you in front of the inforamation booth at Gate B (the one that has a long bridge to the carpark. You will find someone in a long Crowne Plaze Trench Coat with a small bag - he's your man. Outside of this one issue, the remainder of the stay was awesome....clean rooms, well appointed, very good service, no complaints.s

Crowne Plaza Hotel International Airport Beijing”
This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel International Airport in Beijing. We again had a good experiance, staff were frieldly, rooms were clean, restaurtant offers good western food, free wi-fi in the lobby, goos swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room. The prices seems to have increased a lot since the hotels initial opening several months ago which is disapointing but i guess expected. I would recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff!”
My stay in this hotel was very nice and remarkable! Despite that I arrived to the hotel during New Year holidays all staff was absolutely alerted to hear my needs and request as to give a hot water, to bring me a dinner to my room etc. the bed was absolutely marvelous with assorted pillows and everything smelled fresh even I was stayed in the smoking room! The transportation to and from Beijing airport is organized by a shuttle bus is pitch awesome ! While I was checking out at the reception desk all my luggage was accurately loaded in to the shuttle bus! Beautifull experience!

Very nice hotel, very comfortable”
Crowne Plaza is a good quality chain that you know will be of a good standard. This hotel is supposed to have a free shuttle to and from the airport, but I could never locate where to find it at the airport. Getting back to the airport the next day was no problem, but I had to pay a taxi for the short distance coming from the airport.

only stayed there because on a fast overnight trip to Beijing so wanted something close to airport as arrived late at night 9 midnight) and flew out early in morning - easy to get to from airport 5 to 10 minutes very nice and new and clean and staff spoke English and were very helpful. the bat closes at midnight which was a shame as my colleague and I wanted a drink after the long day we had. the room has a minibar so that was ok in the end. easy to get taxi back to airport. if you want something more than a bed .. not the place as no nite life or anything around unless you get taxi.
