Great place and staff”

I really enjoyed staying at the Dhevan Dara Kui Buri. The young woman at the front desks was very helpful in arranging for drivers for local excursions and a long trip to Aonang. I initially thought Aonang was closer than it is. The lovely woman at the front desk negotiated a lower rate for me. Once we arrived I realized the rate was very fair and paid the driver more than the original price. They have a wonderful and varied breakfast each morning and the rooms were very nice!

For shorter stays”

During our pre season stay in October the hotel had just few guests. Mostly local people from Bangkok. The room was large and tidy. We've got a free upgrade to a room with Yakuzzi. The Yakuzzi was really great fun! The hotel rooms occupy most of the land plot. There is just a large pool with seatings and a stretch of beach. But the pool is by far the largest one we saw in any of the hotels in that area as well as Sam Roi Yot area. The breakfast is served in a restaurant adjoining the beach, so from some tables you had a nice view on the sea and beach. The food selection is Thai and European, the offerings could be more diverse.There was a coffee machine to prepare your coffee using whole coffee beans and due to limited guests there was no queueing to get yours. Without vehicle you cannot go anywhere. But just opposite the hotel is a tiny shop as well as a small restaurant. All in all a good stay for people e.g. visiting Kui Buri park and relaxing before & after the visit.

Dhevan Dara Kuiburi is a paradise on earth. I am very delighted that I made the right choice staying here. Also got upgraded to the junior suite without even asking. The room service food was tasty especially the spaghetti tom yum. Big thanks to the staff members, they really made my stay memorable.

Very good”

Dhevan Dara is a lovely hotel in a very quiet and peaceful area. Very different to busy Hua Hin. The hotel would be difficult to get to, do would recommend hiring a car or bike. There arebt The beach is not ideal for sunbathing on or swimming in the sea but that does not matter as you have a big swimming pool overlooking the ocean.

Excellent”

Great location to get to Kui Buri for elephant watching, and Kao Sam Roi Yot for the magical Phraya Nakon Cave. Right on the beach, good food. .We bough our own wine. Only minor complaint would be the music at all times.

the best hotel I have ever stayed”

It's located on the beach in a very quiet and picturesque place! The hotel is definitely for those who want to stay in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere! We stay at Tahiti style room. It's big enough with a large and comfortable bed. It's clean and the maids bring some fruits plate every day and some sweets every evening - I was glad to feel like they really take care of you! The swimming pool is very large with comfortable sun beds. The breakfast is like " breakfast ceremony"! So much variety! Almost every food item is placed in separate plates! The restaurant staff is friendly and attentive! It's not our first visit but it's one of our favorites and I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Theme of the hotel is good with Polynesian style setup. Private beach is available which is scenic. My wife had some problem connecting to the wifi. The staff helped us in providing more passwords but we still were not able to connect. The house-keeping staff are very polite and made our stay feel comfortable. Our morning breakfast buffet was good with many different variety of food. On arrival, the hotel front desk staff also provided an upgraded room for us. Overall, a perfect quiet vacation and felt like staying in a holiday island.

Perfect resting place”

Perfect place for resting with a good location where you can see the beach from the swimming pool and the restaurant. All staff are very friendly and helpful. There are several room types that you can come with your family, friends and also a couple. Also, the room is clean and big. The food is value with the price.

Beautiful hotel”

Beautiful hotel with lovely spacious apartment like rooms. It was a nice stay. Don’t expect much from the local beach, it’s definitely nothing even close to Phuket or southern destinations. But the hotel itself is very lovely as well as the staff. There is a nice cheap local restaurant if you walk to the left on the beach.

Great getaway”

I went with my wife for 2 nights getaway, perfect location on the beach. Friendly service minded staff, free movie night on the beach with free popcorn. Nice room, breakfast was good, we had food in the restaurant both nights, very good and good prices.

If you have a car and you are seeking for a quiet peaceful place for your vacation. This is an absolutely your right choice. Pro : Spacious well-decorated room. Reasonable price. Private beach. Gorgeous pool view. Clean. Cons : Breakfast should be more choices or more variety. Cannot go around without a car.

Beautiful hotel and location”

We stayed here for the weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and responsive. Rooms large and well kept. Lots of extra bedding and space for the children. Restaurants are nice. The staff allowed us extra perks like no corkage charge as we celebrated my wife's birthday with champagne. They also organised and paid for the birthday cake which was a wonderful surprise. The pool is large and the beach area nice to walk along. The temple next door has a beautiful new Wat with amazing paintings inside. Asks the monks for entrance. Be sure not to miss out on this. We would be happy to stay again.

Quiet escape ”

Very nice stay at this hotel. Pool was beautiful over looking the beach. No swimming in ocean due to jelly fish. Hotel huge but very quiet, not many guests around. The area was quiet too, almost too quiet. No village or much around in terms of food or stores. Nice hotel for a quiet, peaceful retreat.

Beach front hotel at Kuiburi”

Good facility but each room is quiet far away from the beach. Kiribati beach is not totally white sand but the beach in front of the hotel is very peaceful and private. Breakfast is great and very tasty. Room space is big, near and clean.

Hidden gem”

This place is a hidden gem! Beach front property with no one else around! Felt like a private beach all to ourselves. Staff is great and accommodating! Grounds and rooms are beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely recommend this to friends and family. It is a must see stop in Thailand!

Luxury in quiet area!”

If you would like to be in a very quiet place with miles of beaches all for your self this is the place. Very nice hotel, maybe not 5 star but nearly. The only complaint i had was that the beds are a little to hard for my bad back.

The hotel is located in the front of the beach, it is very nice and quiet cos in the area there aren't much shops or hotel. It is perfect for relaxing. The hotel is clean and stuff is friendly. There is a lot of food for breakfast and it is quite good. Room are big but need to improve a bit. First room we have been had a strong mold/humid smell. Second room the shower phone holder was placed in the way that the water is direct horizontally only, not convenient to take a shower unless you hold the phone with one hand. And the holder was also cracked making a loosing grip. The shower rain was also broken making water dropping all around. Overall I had a good experience.

Could be fantastic”

On arrival the hotel looks just like the photos, great location & views. We had a one bedroom studio, large room, huge bed (VERY hard mattress) the staff were delightful. The spa and fitness room were padlocked whilst we were there. The food in restaurant wasn’t great. Although it’s a relatively new hotel it’s needs some maintenance, the sun loungers were sagging, the dining table and chairs were tatty, the pool towels were frayed, tiles were chipped etc. There were only a handful of guests there, perhaps if they had more guests they would spend more on maintenance. It is pretty remote, no nearby restaurants or massage, nearest shop was a drive away. It’s a shame because it has great potential.
