“The Price Says It All. You can enhance the experience yourself.”
Although I did not have high expectations, the renovation they have done is okay. Thank you for the hard work. Please take this review and the feedback in consideration before you actually go here. There are some important things to know about the rooms. I would recommend to: - 1. Use/Get your own bedding; the bedding you get is not very good, although it might do the job, I just have my own bedding just in case. - 2. Get some noise cancellation earbuds or sleeping earbuds; It can be noisy outside and in the hallway, if you are a light sleeper this might not be the pension for you unless you use earbuds to suppress the noise with noise cancellation. Else you are going to have a hard time sleeping. - 3. Get your own cushion: sorry to say. But the cushion the accommodation provided me doesn't do the job. It's way too soft. Doesn't sleep well and was not that clean. I have used a trick to make sure the bedding and cushion are proper so I can sleep decently. But I still recommend getting a cushion yourself. - 4. Use the room only for sleeping. The room is designed for sleeping and/or studying. It is not designed to stay here for a long time. The bed is of basic quality The plusses: - The WiFi is good! It works, is fast and does a good job. It's very stable. - The isolation / temperature in the winter. Despite of it being very cold freezing outside. By closing the window it keeps the room warm enough to sleep properly in it. I do recommend wearing long clothes though so you would not get too cold, just in case. The cons: - Noise: Unfortunately the noise outside and within the hallway is something that could be a concern. I also recommend turning off the fridge temporarily when you are going to sleep as it makes noise. - Cleanliness: A little bit more effort could be put on the closet and under the bed. Also the bedding, cushion and mattress are far from perfect clean (which you can expect for the price). I would like to give the owner some feedback on how to improve services: - I think with a little investment buying some IKEA cushions and bedding (which is cheap) you can give your guests a better experience sleeping (especially the cushion) I think this will also result into more positive reviews for your accommodation. :) - Please clean above the closet as dust is there - Please clean under the bed with vacuum cleaner - Please provide proper instructions on how the heater can be operated. - Please provide instructions on how to lock and unlock the door (Locking the door is moving the key 90 degrees counterclockwise and then to neutral, unlocking the door is moving key 90 degrees clockwise.) All in all I would give the accommodation a 6.5/10. There is room for improvement. I would recommend this room only if you can satisfy the criteria above. Else I would recommend spending a little bit more to something worth out of your money. Thank you for the hard work.
