Best hotel on Bang Tao Beach”
Sprawling old-style, grand hotel located roughly in the middle of beautiful Bang Tao beach. Surrounded by numerous palm and Casuarina trees hotel provides lots of shaded areas for loungers both around the pool and near the beach. Nice Thai-inspired design , clean, comfortable rooms, several good restaurants. Wonderful staff at all levels. Because of numerous trees rooms are a bit dark, but this may be a plus during hot, sunny days. Hotel is very busy with young, European families with small children. While they are generally well behaved, this is not a perfect place for older clientele seeking peace, personal space and silence.

Best Place I have stayed in a while!”
I really don't have any Cons to list down for this hotel hence will be submitting by positive reviews. 1. Best beach resort I have stayed in, in quite a recent time. Starting from the entrance everything is an aww. 2. Reception is awesome, for check in or check out you don't even have to queue or go at the desk. There are places to sit and staffs will come and attend you and do everything for you 3. I was accompanied by aged parents and the staffs were kind enough to support them and walk until the room 4. Booked a partial sea facing room and the view was divine. Time flies even when you are just sitting in the balcony 5. Every block has a connecting path through the lawns and connects the beach so there is no need to walk down to the reception and use the main entrance to the beach 6. Room was neat and clean, best part was in-room dining which can be placed from the smart tv connected in your room 7. Tried all the different cuisines in the restaurant and every of them have their local touch from where the food belong 8. Bar, pool bar and swimming pool also added to the beauty of the resort and were well maintained 9. Have private beach with shacks and swings, even have a kids playground 10. The massage place is near the beach and you can have a lifetime feeling. As a whole, I will definitely recommend anyone to go and stay in this resort. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing gateway escape”
I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hotel, beach location and nearby facilities so much. The Laguna, being right on the beach, probably has the best location of any hotel at Bang Tao. I must admit that as a family i was somewhat lost in the club dusit room (an upgrade) on the first stay but did appreciate the space in the well appointed room . I had a room with a sea view and appreciated the view over the gardens to the Andaman Sea and sunsets. The bed matrix is very comfortable . I used the well-appointed gym, followed by a swim in the pool, each day and also enjoyed walking the length of a mainly desertedd Bang Tao Beach. Breakfast was being served a la carte due to covid -19 but it was amazing during my stays. There was a wide selection of good quality dishes. Apart from breakfast ,The hotel is very well set up for families and young children would undboutedly appreciate the facilities provided for them , I enjoyed the kids club and movies with complementary popcorn , the housekeeping team is amazing each time we left the room with a lot of sands we come back like just check in again . My family decided to extend the stay for another one night in laguna Phuket and certainly Dusit Thani will be our first choise for next trip to Laguna Phuket.

Offers a bit of everything”
We love staying along this beach as it has so many choices to eat along the beach and a short drive or 1.5km walk into town. The hotel was busy however you were still able to get a sunlounger beside the pool or on the beach. The staff were very helpful in getting beds and umbrellas for us. The rooms are a reasonable size with a nice balcony. Breakfast has many options, catering for all cuisines.

I booked the last 2 nights in this hotel of my Thailand trip, as I wanted to relax after doing a lot of tours. I made the right decision of choosing this resort. It was perfect, right by the beach but also has its own pool and there’s various restaurants on site. I was given a partial ocean view room although I booked a lagoon view. I cannot complain, my room was perfect! I love everything about it. The staff are also great, they let me checked out at 4pm as my flight is not until 8pm, free if charge. I am grateful to them! I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful stay at the Dusit Thani. The position of the resort is amazing on the beach- gorgeous views, pool also good. Buffet breakfast lovely and good choice in the restaurants. Decor is getting tired in the rooms but the front entrance area is beautiful.

Beautiful and tranquil resort ”
Right on the beachfront, this resort is just what I needed to rejuvenate and feel well. There is yoga and stretch classes, aqua aerobics, group fitness classes, walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean to keep me active. Beautiful and tranquil gardens and sun lounges by the pool for quiet places to relax. Great choices for dining and a fantastic buffet breakfast. The staff are friendly and gracious and my room is luxurious with a beautiful Thai style.

Our stay at Dusit Laguna was awesome! The room was next to the sea beach and the lagoon. The staff is very friendly and the amenities very good. I hurt myself falling outside the hotel. the staff was very prompt in coming for first aid and then brought me back in a wheelchair. The only thing they can improve is the timing for breakfast. One is out on a holiday and the staff promptly winds up the breakfast by 10.15 only. The time should be extended to 11. Very good property.

Beautiful hotel and setting ”
The hotel is really beautiful. It is situated on a beautiful beach that is really clean and the sea is clear. The sunset is wonderful. The main swimming pool is huge - lots of shade too. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are very clean. You have a separate bath and shower and I think they are newly renovated. Beds are big and comfortable. The balconies are big and have a lovely view. I’ve stayed there twice in 2 different types of room and it’s been great each time.

Loved our stay ar this beautiful hotel. Lobby lovely and welcoming staff. Helped us find a rental car. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options to choose from. Pool area was gorgeous with ocean just steps away. Loved the fish feeding and fruit waiting for us in our room.

We had a great stay. Housekeeping was excellent. Our room was impeccably clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. The live band for evening entertainment was fantastic. Breakfast was good, too. Will stay there again.

Great location and kind service”
The hotel is right in front of the beach, the convenient store is right at the gate so I dont have to travel anywhere to enjoy the beach and buy things. I enjoyed having massage at the beach while feeling the breeze and listening to the sound of waves. My friend even had yoga there, what a calm and safe place. The breakfast was not that great, and Ruen Thai is temporarily under renovation so we couldn't go there. But overall I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants peaceful vacation with everything-inside service, and for families with children or elderly.
