Breakfast was awful, the only hot thing was a spongy watery Quiche and a toaster for bread. At least the coffee from a machine was nice! The room was dowdy - the furniture was cheap old stuff purposely ‘distressed’ but really it was so distressed it cried out for help. The stairs creaked - fair enough - the place is old but the shared toilet door creaked and squeaked so noisily I actually found some oil and applied it to the hinges! On the stairs was a sign saying ‘Please be Quiet’ but it was in English and most of the guests were Chinese or French and they obviously did not read it because we heard them tramping up and down until late at night.
Hotel was great and value for money. Location was great as just like 5 to 8 mins walk to the station. Staffs were friendly. No major complains, is good for a few nights stay. Even though we took the shared bathroom options, we don't have any issue such as dirty bathroom or long queues/wait. The only thing is there's no elevator in the hotel. Good luck with your luggages

This hotel is in the good location, near train/bus station, that can easily go around Interlaken or to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen easily. However, this is old house and the floor by wooden. Each walking can make noise and easily hear the talking from next room. You must be very gently in walking, talking or doing anything in the room. However, if you just need a place to sleep, recommend to book here. Except that point, everything is good. Breakfast is just good enough and value with amount you pay in this area.

“Edelwiess Lodge - Wilderswill”
There are two sections to the hotel. The Edelweiss lodge where we stayed in a very old property (more than 100 years old). The stay was decent. Location is great. However, only certain rooms have attached bathroom. Rest are shared bathroom between 2 floors. Additionally, all rooms dont have a double bed. We didnt know this until we checked in. Overall a good stay keeping in mind the limitations mentioned. Also, they have a jacuzzi, but you have to reserve your timings as it is used by the entire hotel.
