Best hotels & accommodations in Verona

well i stayed 8 days in Italy 4 of them was in Verona , and it was the best there cuz of this hotel i highly recommend people to go there really it worth every cent u pay with very helpful staff and welcoming really good service and all i don't know what else to say but really it one of the best

The Europa hotel is perfect for a tourist in Verona. I could say this was the best hotel among all that we had stayed in Italy for our trip. It is located very close to interested places like Arena, Castelvecchio etc and about 15 minutes walking distance from the train station and University of Verona to the hotel. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby too. The ho...

Hotel Scalzi is in a great location to walk to most of the attractions of Verona. The staff were very helpful, spoke good English and were happy to assist us. They helped us with maps of the city and suggested a local restaurant to eat at on the Sunday night. Breakfast was adequate and to a similar standard to other similar priced hotels in Italy Parking may be a p...

Location is very convenient for Arena and city center, great if you visit for opera and sightseeing. Apartments are very well renovated and furnished, we had two separate bedrooms, there is also a kitchen with appliances. The only good additions would be blackout curtains. Overall it is highly recommended

Nice big hotel in the suburban area of Verona, big spacious room although its a bit outdated. decent quality breakfast with a lot of choices. However, there was a rude lady who completely ignored me at the reception, even when I was standing right in front of her and trying to say hello. The other male staff members were very polite and warm. and just FYI, the undergro...

I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very comfortable room. Although it is outside of the city center, a easy and quick bus ride from a stop very close to the hotel gets you into town. I didn't make breakfast in the room, but the kitchen is great and there's an espresso machine. The owner is amicable, Verona is a lovely city, and I would stay here again!

Pro Perfect location, nice breakfast(various kinds of bread, coffee, yogurt, etc.), clean room and comfort bed, modern toilet. Con You must contact with host when you check in, which means if you dont have a simcard, wifi or mobile data, maybe hard to check in. The host speaks only a little english but enough to communicate. The oldman who prepared our breakfast canno...

pleasant hotel. clean room, good size, excellent bathroom with bidet and jacuzzi bathtub. good quality bed and linens. breakfast choices very good. lighting in room excd lent. tv station selection not so good. only english choice on cable, bbc world, was operational.

Almost reluctant to praise this hotel as much as it deserves as it may make it too popular if we return! However, the Hotel Aurora does deserve massive acclaim. Everything about the hotel was of the highest standard: from the welcome we received on arrival, value for money for a really high quality room, the view over Verona's Piazza del Erbe that we had from our room,...

This is listed as a 0-star hotel because it is not a conventional hotel. It is closer to a vacation apartment than a hotel room. it is suited in a apartment building so it does not have facilities like gym and restaurant. However, the room is large, clean and has a big bathroom. My rate comes with breakfast and you can to select what you want the evening before and...

Our stay the BB Verona was very comfy & relax. The BB Verona is close by to the main train station about a 7 to 10 mins walk however it is hard to locate due to the BB being in a block of flat but once inside the rooms are very well kept with lovely furniture n comfy beds everything is new & modern. We was greeted by the friendly owner who show us how to get into the ...

Thge apartment is quiet, superbly located and really easy to stay in. We were met downstairs and shown the facilities. The view from the back doorway (its on the third floor) is just amazing. The apartment has a single bed and a double bed, plenty of linen and a great bathroom.

I don’t review many hotels but I need to do for this ... we were in Verona for an expo, superb personal service, every question answered in very detailed answers, they go out their way to answer anything u need, room is very clean, bed is spacious, the team at the front desk is excellent ... and with the home cook Italian restaurant right in front of the hotel, it’s an...

Had our 2 nights of stay at Meryem during Vinitaly, which is a crazy time. The host at Home Meryem Andrea, a well groomed gentleman who provided us top services. With crazy Vinitaly going on, he still helped us find good local restaurants and what to see in Verona. The room is exceptionally clean and beautifully organised. It is easy to find with parking. Just absolute...

Excellent location, near the river and easy stroll to the main sites in Verona and round the corner from a quaint Italian street with many restaurants. Very comfy and stylish room. Breakfast is in the fridge and fresh rolls arrive to your door in the morning. Highly recommended.
Cheapest hotels in Verona

This place is one of my favorites during my trip. Very friendly and helpful staffs, the room is clean, the place in general is clean. In my room I had two bathroom so it’s was easy for me and my roommates to use in early morning. I definitely recommend this place!!!

the only bad thing i have to say about this hotel is the noise.. as the window is to the street, it is noisy. except of that, the breakfast is good, great staff and great location, right in the middle of the town - which is easy to get to from the train and to walk around, for those who are coming without a car and care about a place in the center.

To whom looking for a good place, and nearby with most of the attraction in verona This is it, bed was comfy, breakfast was okay, shower was perfect, all was good, highly recommended, place was neat, tidy and cozy , with a reasonable price? Im satisfied

The facility is located within walking distance of the railway station and the town center. There is a local fruit shop, a bread/sweet store and a neighborhood Caffe across the street, in the Piazza. My room was large and tastefully decorated, The use of the fridge and the offer of tea/coffee were welcome. I would have appreciated a more human touch (hotel-type recept...

The place is close to the sights and short walk to the station but may be hard to locate as there is no reception or front office. Rooms are in an apartment in a block of apartments/offices that's next to a school. Guests need to ring the doorbell to get in the first time. There's tea/coffee, toiletries, etc. Close to a supermart and small eateries too.

Wonderful stay. Only downside is the drive up the mountain takes a little while so Malcesine is not really accessible by foot. Guess that's the price you pay for a great view. Staff was extremely kind. Nice pool and jacuzzi within a very peaceful setting.

Casa Magnani has few big advantages which includes great owner and nice quiet location. Some guests claimed clock chimes from the nearby church but as for us it was just for fun. It starts around 7AM at the morning and ends at 9PM or 10PM at the evening so it really did not bother us a lot. Many thanks to the hotel owner who helped us with the map of the city and point...

Quite far out of city but a 5-7min walk to the nearest bus and a 15min bus journey-brings you right to the centre of Verona, staff unbelievably helpful providing maps etc, very clean and modern, let us check-in early and very friendly!! Only downfall was the wifi- iPhones couldn't seem to access it although androids could ??!

I need to begin by saying that we will definitely stay at Residenza San Faustino again if we ever visit Verona again! :) The location of the hotel is excellent, it's very easy to walk to the center in about 10min only. Additionally, as we arrived by car, a great plus was that the hotel is situated just outside the ZTL-fine area so we could drive all the way to the hot...

Lovely clean spacious room. Good sized clean bathroom. The owner was very friendly. Towels and sheets were changed regularly and whole room was spotless. Good range of food for self serve breakfast and access to fridge to store own things. Handy location, 5 mins from the arena. Some traffic noise at night but think this is the case in most places in Verona as it is sma...

We had a great time in this hotel!! The suite was very large and comfortble. The view from the balcony was simply amazing and really made us enjoy our stay. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The breakfast was good and nothing was missing. Reccomended!!

I stayed for one night near the airport before meeting my family the next day. I arrived at 11 p.m. and one of the restaurant staff was abrupt that I was checking in late. however when the hotel staff realized who I was check-in was smooth. the room was small with no view but for me it was fine, quiet and it had a spotlessly clean bathroom, I had a quick shower and sle...

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we cancelled our next hotel in Padua & stayed here an extra 4 days! The only downside is that the main building is next to a main road which is quite noisy if, like us, you want the windows open at night. Our last 4 nights were in a much quieter room in a detached cottage in the garden - however, there is a male peacock who, whilst...

The room was very clean, big bathroom, the breakfast was nice and the hotel reception staff very helpful and friendly, particularly the girl on the front the evening we checked in, even tho her English wasn't too good she went out of her way to help us and the drinks that were in the mini bar were complementary, there was only 2 bottles of water and 3 cans of soda but ...

Location of hotel consider not to far from train station. you may take around 20 minuets walking distance to reach the hotel. However, the size of room and the bed are very nice. The room was big enough for me and my husband. Compare to other hotel i been before was not not so big. The thing that i most like for this hotel is they provided bicycle to us. At the early ...

I was very happy with everything, from room, location, service, facilities. The only two downsides was the breakfast which could have been better and the internet, which was incredibly overpriced. I stayed in a number of different hotels in Venice, Padova, etc during this trip and this was by far the most expensive internet. It really is disgraceful that hotels are...

The hotel is located a bit out of the center, yet close enough to everything... Easy to go to the Garda lake, excellent restaurants 5 minutes away by car, good access to the center (by bus, because parking in the center of Verona is expensive). There is a free parking belonging to the hotel, which is actually difficult to find elsewhere. The service is very good, rece...

Hotel is hardly get to 3 star hotel, swimming pool small, food doesnt change everyday you eat same food and there is no much options to choose, it doesnt desrve more than 2 nights stay, there is no king bed theres only twin beds and closed together, the only good thing in this hotel is the staff which was friendly and helpful so much, there is hotels in verona much mor...
5-star hotels in Verona

I wish my stay was longer, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was impeccable in all areas. Room service, attention to detail in the rooms, I asked for a feather pillow, it was no problem. It's a lovely old hotel, the beds are so comfortable even down to the linen sheets and covers. The breakfast was fantastic, something to suit everyone. ...

Traveler impressions of Verona
What a beautiful romantic quaint place. I could walk around for days and just enjoy the streaming water around the old city and the beautiful calming sights.
Lots to see: Arena, historic sites, religious sites, home of Romeo and Juliet. Worth a visit, though the crowds can get large.
well people really friendly there , the downtown is amazing with the arena and the shops it all nice and good u will really enjoy as family or couples food is really nice and good quality it really good place for relaxing and joy
A very convenient place for tourists whose main interests are culture, arts and history. Beautiful churches abound.
When you travel to Verona, you are recommended to visit Venice. It takes more than an hour by train from Verona.
Although we only spent one full day at Verona city center, still it is very attractive and worth to tour around.
City has some lovely tourist attractions including the second largest Colosseum in Italy, and the Sirmione peninsular area on Lake La Garda is only 50 kms away
It is a romantic place for couples where you can do alot of shopping and then sit by one of the restuarants along the Arena and enjoy a good meal.

More about Verona
Juliet’s House and the Arena are attractions that dominate the tourist scene in Verona. The Arena is especially ideal in the summer months when it serves as the stage for opera season. Juliet’s House draws droves of travelers to revel in the story of love and commemorate the love of their own. Of course it isn’t the actual house, but it’s certainly better than not having one. For those looking to pay homage to Romeo, a private home a couple streets over has been designated as his. Verona Cathedral, Giardino Giusti, and the art-filled Castelvecchio are but a few more of the wonders to be explored here. From snapshot sites to timeless wonders and within easy reach of many exciting Italian destinations, Verona is a winning choice for a getaway.
