Nice hotel but not quite up to the Sheraton badge”
This hotel is located quite a bit of a distance away from city centre. Whilst the subway is within walking distance, taxis have to face the daily jams to get in and out of city.Surrounded by a sprawled out mall with shops and restaurants, the hotel has only a lobby lounge/bar and a coffee house. Guests who need to do up-market dining within the hotel would be hard-pressed to find a suitable outlet. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the beds are good. I am impressed with the gym. It is well-equipped and maintained. Overall I would give it an average score of about 7.5 to 7.8. I would not rate it over 7.8 as I feel it does not quite live up to the Sheraton name, as I compared it to other Sheratons that I had stayed before.

Good location, not worth the money”
The rooms were showing age, we couldn't get four towels even though we had four people in the room, we only received three. The breakfast was acceptable and had a variety of food options, but it was extremely expensive, and didn't offer options for children. We were able to leave our luggage with the concierge, and get the most out of our last day, but couldn't get airport transport. The and coffe facilities wee not only sparse, but non-existent, with no refills. We also didn't get any replacement soap, bath wash or shampoo even though we ran out. We ended up staying three days total, using two different reservations, and had to go out and buy a bar of soap to clean our kids. Many other hotels in Shanghai have better value for money, and are just as, if not more, central. If you are staying there and your business is footing the bill, then it may be okay, but it certainly isn't family friendly or worth spending out on.

Location Near MRT”
The hotel location and service is good near the MRT and area have some shop and supermarket store but when we stay the power supply was not stable as we just blow the hair and charge our mobile phone till half way then power stop but the light and TV still on, after checking with the counter lady and she say their power not so stable is very not good and cannot accept issue on a 4 star hotel that way a bit disappointed.

very bad receptionist: I had a problem and would like to cancel the booking 3 days ahead of time. However after talking to four persons, they all said the something ' Per policy i cannot cancel the booking'. I spoke to the UK agoda representative, he was vey kind to ask the Hotel, however the hotel again used 'policy' to deny my cancel request. all the four I spoke to were very rough and did not want to talk more except repeating hotel policy. question: why sheraton needs to hire so many people if everything is 'per policy' and NOT flexible, also refuse to discuss anything further or provide any help to assist me to cancel the booking. I will NOT stay in this hotel and will NOT recommend to others.

good location but sub-standard service”
I found the worn towels in the bathroom. It is unacceptable in Sheraton Group Hotel. Another thing is that the concierge service is insufficient. When I and my family arrived at the hotel entrance, no one helped us to move the luggage to the lobby.

Handy location, pleasant and helpful staff”
Very comfortable room on the whole, though with one of those bathrooms where you have to sidle between the loo and the bathtub to close the door - outward-opening doors, bathroom designers? The staff are always helpful, and it's a great location for business in north Puxi. Lots of dining options in the adjoining mall and surrounding area - Korean, Japanese, Thai - as well as the usual international chains. Not what you'd call funky or happening, but very convenient for a trip when you're pushed for time to explore.

Convenient place to stay”
This is a great hotel with facility much much better than those standard Four Points hotel I have been tried in North America! It's very convenience as a well organized life hub mall just down stair, can buy anything you need during your business trip!

Reasonably-priced hotel away from the city centre”
The hotel is located away from city centre but in a reasonably good location with dining and shopping options. It is within walking distance to two subway stations. It has limited F&B offerings within its premises but has a decent lobby bar with a band. The room is clean and comfortable. A good gym.
