I stayed at the resort for 5 days and it was so nice I stayed another 5! It is in a nice quiet location right next to the Ping River. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the resort.

Natural Resort with friend staff”
We enjoyed our stay at Fuengfah Riverside hotel. We stayed in one of the villas which was great, right near the river and in the back of the resort so we had plenty of privacy. Our older children stayed in the economy room and it was functional and sufficient for the stay. We lived in Mae Rim for 10 years and chose to stay at this resort for the convenience of access to Mae Rim. Staff was super friendly and the breakfast good - Thai breakfast. The garden was in full bloom at the beginning of January. Our boys enjoyed the table tennis in the recreational area. We will come again .

Only come here if you have a car. Nice apartments and have a decent pool. There are a few decent attractions nearby. However when I was there they had a local festival close to the river where you can basically sit with your feet submerged in the water and get some local foods and beer. Great for go with family or a larger group in the summer season.

Relaxing Stay”
The great staff at this resort made our stay here a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We were so pleased with the peaceful surroundings, the helpful and responsive staff and the restaurant quality that we extended our stay an additional 5 days. Being located on the outskirts of the city away from the noisy city activities, this was a great place to relax and unwind after the long flight to Chiang Mai from the US. I will recommend this place to family and friends as a preferred getaway.

The best choice for me now”
I don't expect to receive this much from a resort located farther away from city center, but FF Riverside has given me above my expectation. Starting from the entrance, there are many signs and directions on the roads, which guides you directly and qucikly to the hotel. The surroundings are very calm and peaceful. Lot of trees, flowers and most importantly it is right next to the Ping river so you can truly relax. I understand thier staff is not aplenty, but each of them is very freindly, all smiling and willing to help with anything comes to your needs. And since they are not loaded with guests at certain seasons, we got the benefit from a la card breakfast but unlimitedly. They have both American bf and thai bf for your options. Quite delicious too. I am impressed and will stay longer later if I have time

Everything high standard. Modern airconditioned shuttle pick up. Rural setting. Bicycles provided free of charge for use. Away from hustle and bustle. A perfect place to relax for a few days. Day trip to Doi Suthep etc organised via reception. Fuengfah a highlight for us. The most attentive and friendly staff possible.

Staff were soo nice and helped me out a lot.I wanted to be away from the town but was u aware that the distance was abut if a problem. I recommend that one has rented a car if they stay here as most tour companies won't come this far to pick you up.However it was peaceful and. enjoyed the gardens and riding the hotel bikes around the area to discover the real people .

overall is nice, the Thai style house we stayed is impressed. breakfast isn't super but nice. the food served hot and made as your order from the breakfast options. staff is helpful. the way to go in the resort is nice at night time, a bit dark but have the beautiful light from the flower garden (farm).

The driver that fetch us to the resort is extremely helpful and friendly. Love the environment of the resort as it is located at the outskirt of chiangmai but surrounded with nature of pretty flowers and stream. Would recommend people to stay at the resort for a peaceful meditation or just purely relax. Have to take their shuttle service if you want to go to the town which is expensive.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort for the most part but there were a few disappointing things, a couple of the lights didn't work, the floor wasn't the cleanest, numerous fixtures in the bathroom looked as though they were about to fall down. But overall it was a nice place with great staff.

We stayed at the only Thai house with 3 bedrooms and kitchen with dining table. Plenty of space on the balcony. Typical Thai house with stairs. Large garden in the front. Over all great vacation. Breakfast was good though the variety could have been more. Friendly and smiling staff.

First night very unvomfortable rest OK”
The first night was not good an older style Thai wood lodge house with a padlock to enter with non fitting glass panel doors with low security tolerance. Curtains did not close completely, mosquito access through in multiple areas, remote from the rest of the Hotel. Shower was open to the elements with only mosquito screen on the ceiling and bathroom was in poor shape. Asked for a change of room to the main building and it was a completely different experiences. The new room was comfortable with a nice balcony and garden views. The restaurant was open to the elements and mosquitoes made it uncomfortable to sit in the evening. The Hotel is difficult to find in a more remote area and there we only encountered other guests on 2 days - the Hotel appeared empty.

Absolutely lovely.Completely relaxed and charged our batteries,Beautiful surroundings and gardens.Lovely balcony and views.Great drop shower and bathroom,but could do with repairing the toilet seat as it was loose.Tea making facilities,fridge and tv.Staff were so eager to please and friendly.Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

the resort had very few clients ... which is sad, this being the "high season" or busy season ...but most assuredly it was a quiet peaceful few days to finish getting over jet lag ... great mattress/bed for sleeping. the shower water temperature needs improvement. we needed blankets to stay warm as our air-conditioning was not adjustable ... but the blankets were exquisite. can not saw enough about the high quality of the staff. if you need something, just ask. hope to return there in the future.

Very Far from the city, Staff doesn't care”
FYI: This resort is far from excitement. Make sure you have a car if you wish to stay here. Booked this hotel for YiPeng Festival. Paid 300 Baht for resort transportation service to MAEJO. Going back they mentioned we can get service from there. What I hate is how expensive tuktuk and red truck service is. Too bad if you don't know how to drive motorbikes/motorcycle. Seems like staff doesn't care about their guest.

Resort prices for guesthouse value”
I am an easily satisfied traveler. I rarely stay at 'resorts,' instead opting for hostels, guesthouses, campgrounds, and old broom closets (as that is typically what my budget allows). As long as the establishment offers what is advertised, I'm happy. Upon discovery of this deceptively charming hotel, I sought further information , where I stumbled on its plethora of facilities All of the following were opened and operational in 2010: "New River Bar… will be a contemporary western style with entertainment," "Fitness Center," "The spa … 4 Private treatment rooms, jet stream, sauna, semi salted-chlorinated pool, hair salon, facial room, and manicure and pedicure room," "Other facilities and services... library, badminton, etc..." Incorrectly assuming the hotel knew more about itself than Agoda did, I was lured. None exist (quite confused about the reviews saying the Fitness Center exists. I suppose I could have done pushups on the grass…). I asked 3 staff plus the manager, and the answer was the same throughout: "I am very sorry, we do not have. These were planned when the hotel opened. We will have them in the future." Over my 4 days, flat bicycle tires never got filled (they sit in front of the lobby…) and used in-room silverware did not get replaced by housekeeping. My expectations are not unreasonable; I only want what the hotel advertises and maybe a little bit of attention from a “4-star hotel” staff. It is a pretty establishment with good aesthetic value, and my compliments end there. 3 nights ran me a hefty total (1/3 of my monthly Thai salary… or 2 months’ rent , living alone in Suphanburi). If money is less of a concern for you, perhaps your stay will be more enjoyable.
