There are staff who speak Japanese, so Japanese people feel at ease. There is a convenience store nearby, and if you walk a little, you can find a mall and Japanese dining chains. However, the subway station is far, so for those who primarily use the train for transportation, the location may not be very good. If you mainly use taxis for transportation, I think the location is quite good.

Originally, we planned to stay for only four days, but unexpectedly the hotel was completely renovated, and there was a laundry room. Manager Xu and all the staff's warmth and professionalism made us extend our stay in Shanghai for the entire two weeks. Next time we return to Shanghai, this will be our first choice. Manager Xu is friendly, enthusiastic, and professional, with no airs of being a leader, almost every day in the lobby, ready to help any travelers in need. During our return to our country for over two months, we stayed in different hotels in different cities, but only Manager Xu wholeheartedly catered to guests, allowing us, who have been away from home for over forty years, to experience the warmth of returning home, greatly narrowing the distance between us and Shanghai. Thank you, Manager Xu! And thanks to all the staff in the hotel for their collective efforts. We'll come again next time we return to Shanghai.

I can't speak either Chinese or English, but thanks to the staff who used translation apps and took notes that I could understand, I was able to spend my time without any problems. They arranged taxis for me several times, and even though I initially declined cleaning of the room, they kindly came back to check on me, which I really appreciated. The breakfast buffet on the day was also reasonably priced, had a lot of food, and I could enjoy it for an unlimited time. If I have the opportunity again, I would love to stay here.

I recommend it! I think it's a hotel where many Japanese people can feel安心. The rooms are clean as well. It's not very close to the station, but there are several subway stations nearby. There are also a large mall and a lovely park close by. The area is not scary at all, even to walk alone at night! When I asked for an urgent currency exchange at checkout, they kindly assisted me. (If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the body soap in the bathroom was almost empty.)

At check-in, the male receptionist remained silent the entire time; after handing over my passport, the passport and room key were handed back without a word. Everyone else, except for this staff member, was generally responsive. The cleaning staff, spa masseuses, and breakfast area staff only speak Chinese, so it's better to assume that they don’t understand English or Japanese at all. However, they are willing to communicate, and there are parts that can be understood through the ambiance. Everyone is kind. The room was clean. I would like to use it again next time. I might need to study Chinese.
