I have visited Hotel Grand Continental several times for training courses and business meetings with clients. However, this was my first time staying overnight at the hotel. Overall, the services were satisfactory. The staff were friendly and professional, the swimming pool was well maintained, and the room was clean and tidy. The hotel’s location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of KTCC Mall and surrounded by many restaurants. In addition, the hotel is only a few meters away from a popular mamak restaurant in the area, Restoran Ali Spices, which added to the stay experience. However, there were a few issues. The air-conditioning system in the room did not work well. Although a technician was sent to check it, the problem continued. We also faced a small problem during check-in when the room number on the key card did not match the actual room. The room was still being cleaned by housekeeping, so we had to wait about 15 minutes before being informed of the correct room. This was not a serious issue, but it was slightly inconvenient, especially with children who were eager to use the bathtub. In conclusion, for a four-star hotel, the stay can be considered average. Overall, I would give it a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
