This hotel in KL's Bukit Bintang area is surrounded by restaurants, shopping malls, and street food places. Guests praised the friendly staff, especially Mr. Kenneth and Mr. Haris. Rooms with a perfect Petronas tower view are clean, spacious, and have comfortable beds.

This hotel is probably one of the top five that I've ever visited in Malaysia. It's located very strategically, in the heart of Bukit Bintang, very near Pavilion and Fahrenheit Mall, and near famous restaurants (Damascus, Hameediyah) and coffee shops. However, I've got some notes. When I enter the lobby, I notice a damp smell in the lobby, not sure if this is because of a wet or an old carpet, or because it has a water feature inside the lobby that creates this smell. The perfume in the lobby fails to give me a fresh sense, it's different from when I visited this hotel back in 2018, where the lobby felt refreshing. The staff is great, no complaints at all. The room is clean and comfortable. We booked a club room on the 17th floor for 4 days, got free laundry, and housekeeping is fast, which is a plus point. We've got complimentary breakfast options, either on the 18th floor in the club lounge or on the 1st floor. We tried the 1st floor, and it's like a war zone, too crowded, and food options have a small/poor variety. My favourite menu, like nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaf no longer available, replaced by ordinary nasi lemak with their condiments put around it to make it look like a larger food option. I ordered an omelette, and it's bland, and also only a white egg? Oh well.. We only tried the 1st floor option once, and then we're having our breakfast on the 18th floor for the remainder of our stay. On the 18th floor, the food variety is smaller, but the place is quiet and comfortable. It's easy to order the correct omelette because the lounge staff are really helpful and will order it for us. Wifi/internet is slow, very very slow, so if you need to work on something or have a meeting, I recommend buying a SIM card that has an internet package.

I stayed at Grand Millennium Kuala Lumpur for around 14 days and it truly felt like home. The location is amazing, everything you need is just steps away. The staff are like family, so warm and welcoming. Most of them were honestly so kind and helpful that I can’t even mention just one name… all of them were lovely and made me feel really cared for. The room was super clean every day and the breakfast was excellent , delicious choices and wonderful staff in the restaurant too. There are many clean and beautiful hotels in Kuala Lumpur but the family feeling I experienced here was something truly special. I honestly felt sad when I had to leave… like I was leaving my own house. Thank you to everyone at the hotel, I’ll definitely be back again.

First time staying in this property when traveling to KL. This property is highly recommended and I shall be staying in the hotel again for my next visit. Considered a luxurious hotel, having quite a good stay for my 10 days' holiday in KL. Parking was not free of charge for guest, spend quite a lot of money for parking as I go in and out from hotel several times in a day. When I reached this hotel, I checked into a room which was faulty and I was so shocked with the room condition. Since I checked in late, after midnight, I did not contact the front desk and wait for the next day, yes, this is my biggest mistake I have made. The second mistake I made was I try to clean the room on my own and killed all the insects crawling in that room. I should direct contact the front desk and ask the duty manager to inspect the room. Though I took pictures and videos, it still could not be treated as proof. I understand this, as there are many dishonest guests who try to fool the hotel. I have a terrible stay for my first night, afraid the insects will crawl into my ears and bite me. The next day, I complain it to the duty manager, at that time I just realize my mistakes. Anyway, the duty manager is very professional, she sent some staffs to inspect my room. Luckily there were still something to prove my complaint that time, thanks to the insects which survived my attack. Immediate action was taken, I was given another room. Anyway, I need to complain this !! They may have come out with solution earlier, but they never informed me the outcome, I have to wait and suffer in the room until evening without any news and update until I call to ask the front desk. Gosh, it really spoilt my mood and waste my time !! Management should look into this seriously !! Anyway, after the room change, I just can feel the vast difference !! Yes, this is what we call a luxurious hotel. Though I am not staying in the suite room, but that room is sufficient for me to call it a 5 star hotel. I have a pleasant stay after that. Hope hotel management will continue to maintain the hotel well and become the preferred hotel for all. The only setback is there are some staffs who need further training to become more professional to handle guests. Most of the staffs are very good, but still there a few who are not professional and spoilt the image of the hotel. Hotel management should not ignore those problematic staffs but to take stern action on them. With proper procedures, hotel management can just get rid of those staffs, sack them but follow the proper procedure. Get others who are more professional and passionate staffs. I believe, this hotel will become the preferred hotel in KL, like other Millenium hotel in other countries. Next time I visit KL, Grand Millennium, will be my first choice in my list !!!

I visit Kuala Lumpur every two months for leisure, and I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels in the Bukit Bintang area. However, this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review — all because Grand Millennium KL gave me an unexpectedly amazing experience. To be honest, I didn’t expect much initially, knowing that the hotel has been around for quite some time. Often, even refurbished older hotels still feel outdated. But I was pleasantly surprised during my recent stay! I checked in on June 28, 2025, and booked a Club Room. Upon arrival at the Club Lounge on the 18th floor, I was warmly welcomed by Sanjet and Vee, who greeted me with smiles. While one assisted with my check-in, the other offered me a refreshing drink. Since the room wasn’t ready yet, they invited me to relax in the lounge and kindly confirmed my request for a late check-out at 2:00 PM the next day. When I finally entered my room, I was wowed by the modern minimalist design — it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The view overlooked the bustling city streets of Bukit Bintang. The location is unbeatable: just steps away from Pavilion Mall to the left and Lot 10 to the right. While many nearby hotels offer similar convenience, I genuinely believe **Grand Millennium Certainly! Of course, the location is excellent — turn left after stepping out of the hotel and you’re just steps away from Pavilion Mall; turn right and in just a few minutes, you’ll reach Lot 10 Mall. While many other hotels in the area offer convenience too, I feel that when it comes to value for money, this hotel stands out. The food at the Club Lounge was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Sanjet and Vee provided wonderful service — and the other staff were great too, though I didn’t get their names. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. Upon checking out the next day, I discovered that the hotel has a Chinese restaurant, so I decided to try their Cantonese dim sum — and I was so impressed. Lai Ching Yuen was amazing! The dim sum was not only delicious but also exquisitely presented. You could see the chefs and waitstaff working with smiles on their faces. The servers even gently reminded me that the dishes were hot and to be careful — and their frequent polite “thank you”s and “excuse me”s made me feel like a VIP guest. I’ve tried many 5-star hotel Chinese restaurants nearby, but the service at Lai Ching Yuen is the best by far. Thank you, Grand Millennium KL, for such a wonderful experience.
