I traveled alone for three nights in December 2025! With breakfast included, the rate was around 3,600 yen per night, which was quite reasonable, and I was very satisfied with the amenities and facilities available. The room, as shown in the photos, was quite simple, but since I was just sleeping, having a private room was completely convenient. The structure felt more like a partition than a door, so it might be challenging for those sensitive to sounds like footsteps and door openings, but I had no issues at all. Additionally, the floors were separated by gender, with women on the first floor, which was convenient. During check-in, I received a key and card to enter the room, and I could lock the door with the key. The facilities included a microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, black coffee, and water, which were very convenient. From 3 PM to 9 PM, I could also enjoy awamori and shikuwasa juice. The amenities included toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, tissue, pajamas, pillows, and were sufficient for daily life without needing to bring anything. I also appreciated that various items, such as a Create hair straightener, Refa hairdryer, nail clippers, and electric irons, could be rented from the front desk. The option to choose from about 15 types of shampoo was also a nice touch. There were about six showers, which were clean and not crowded. As for access, it was outstanding. I primarily worked on my PC at the hotel, so I didn't do much sightseeing, but it took about five minutes from the airport to Akamine Station via the Yui Rail, and it was just a three-minute walk from the station, making it very convenient. I could also take a bus from the station to Kokusai Dori, outlets, and Umikaji Terrace, which was great. Buses ran about every 30 minutes, and many people seemed to utilize them since Umikaji Terrace wasn't accessible via Yui Rail. Moreover, there were five supermarkets nearby, including a 24-hour supermarket and one that offered half-price bento sales from 8:30 PM, along with second-hand shops and izakayas, making it extremely convenient. I looked forward to buying Blue Seal ice cream every day at the supermarket. Many solo travelers used the hotel, and since eating in the rooms was not allowed, everyone seemed to enjoy Orion beer or eat Okinawa soba from the supermarket in the lounge. There weren't as many foreigners as I expected; it felt like roughly 70% Japanese and 30% foreigners. Wi-Fi was available, and there were around 20 tables with power outlets, along with free coffee, making it perfect for workations and nomadic workers. Having traveled a lot abroad and stayed in hostels, I found this place to be a great blend of a business hotel and hostel, making it very comfortable and enjoyable. I added breakfast since the cost was nearly the same, and the flavor of the tea rice soup was rich enough to enjoy without needing to add mentaiko or salmon. Although the menu was the same for three days with beef curry, shrimp shumai, and rolled omelet, I enjoyed the meals without getting bored. I recommend this place for those who want to be close to the airport, visit Umikaji Terrace, go to Kokusai Dori, save on food expenses at supermarkets, and keep hotel costs low while prioritizing cleanliness.
