“【Access◎】A direct 5-minute route from the airport, buses depart from the station to Kokusai Street and Umikaji Terrace, and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, so you won't have trouble finding souvenirs or meals!”

I traveled alone for three nights in December 2025! With breakfast included, the rate was around 3,600 yen per night, which was quite reasonable, and I was very satisfied with the amenities and facilities available. The room, as shown in the photos, was quite simple, but since I was just sleeping, having a private room was completely convenient. The structure felt more like a partition than a door, so it might be challenging for those sensitive to sounds like footsteps and door openings, but I had no issues at all. Additionally, the floors were separated by gender, with women on the first floor, which was convenient. During check-in, I received a key and card to enter the room, and I could lock the door with the key. The facilities included a microwave, toaster, hot water kettle, black coffee, and water, which were very convenient. From 3 PM to 9 PM, I could also enjoy awamori and shikuwasa juice. The amenities included toothbrushes, combs, cotton swabs, tissue, pajamas, pillows, and were sufficient for daily life without needing to bring anything. I also appreciated that various items, such as a Create hair straightener, Refa hairdryer, nail clippers, and electric irons, could be rented from the front desk. The option to choose from about 15 types of shampoo was also a nice touch. There were about six showers, which were clean and not crowded. As for access, it was outstanding. I primarily worked on my PC at the hotel, so I didn't do much sightseeing, but it took about five minutes from the airport to Akamine Station via the Yui Rail, and it was just a three-minute walk from the station, making it very convenient. I could also take a bus from the station to Kokusai Dori, outlets, and Umikaji Terrace, which was great. Buses ran about every 30 minutes, and many people seemed to utilize them since Umikaji Terrace wasn't accessible via Yui Rail. Moreover, there were five supermarkets nearby, including a 24-hour supermarket and one that offered half-price bento sales from 8:30 PM, along with second-hand shops and izakayas, making it extremely convenient. I looked forward to buying Blue Seal ice cream every day at the supermarket. Many solo travelers used the hotel, and since eating in the rooms was not allowed, everyone seemed to enjoy Orion beer or eat Okinawa soba from the supermarket in the lounge. There weren't as many foreigners as I expected; it felt like roughly 70% Japanese and 30% foreigners. Wi-Fi was available, and there were around 20 tables with power outlets, along with free coffee, making it perfect for workations and nomadic workers. Having traveled a lot abroad and stayed in hostels, I found this place to be a great blend of a business hotel and hostel, making it very comfortable and enjoyable. I added breakfast since the cost was nearly the same, and the flavor of the tea rice soup was rich enough to enjoy without needing to add mentaiko or salmon. Although the menu was the same for three days with beef curry, shrimp shumai, and rolled omelet, I enjoyed the meals without getting bored. I recommend this place for those who want to be close to the airport, visit Umikaji Terrace, go to Kokusai Dori, save on food expenses at supermarkets, and keep hotel costs low while prioritizing cleanliness.

      “Amazing ”

Location - 1 stop by monorail from Naha airport, stress free, short walking distance with a luggage. Super convenient. Room - Spotlessly clean cabin room, enough space for solo traveller, comfortable single bed, pillow, dimmable light, mini fan, air freshener, slippers… well equipped in the room. Other amenities at the reception e.g. earplugs, nano hairdryers. Bathroom has a wide selection of shampoo & conditioners, hair bands, cottons etc… 2 towels also provided in a bag. Facilities - Shared shower booths, toilets, laundry machines, reception & lounge area all so clean and airy. There’re refreshments, vending machines and snack that you can buy. Self-service breakfast are provided in the lounge. Japanese style porridge with pickles, dashimaki tamago (omelet) was delicious..! There seems more to list which I did not use or notice. Staff - So welcoming, kind and efficient with beautiful smiles. Any questions or requests I had were dealt with their professionalism. I particularly thank to a gentleman who contacted the local Sansen musician who I struggled to book his lesson. I’m happy to find this accommodation with a very short notice on my arrival day, by chance through agoda. Price was excellent with the value. Thank you so much.

“This Grand Cabin Hotel is with a flying colours~”

This Grand Cabin Hotel is with a flying colours~ Good location, just next to the Yui rail station and bus station less than 5 mins walk. Only one stop to the airport, also very convenient to visit many tourist hot spots around the Naha city centre, or other areas like Southern part in Okinawa. Quiet environment, out of the downtown centre, more like living in the local society. There are two local supermarkets and a few local traditional restaurants around. Can go outside to explore more during sunny days. Or turn to have some treasure fun inside the second-hand stores next to the Grand Cabin Hotel, when rainy days or late nights. Excellent hospitality, every staff member is very friendly and helpful. Bed, pillow & sleeping wear were very comfortable, they even had three different pillow styles for selection. The Cabin Room size is a perfect fit for a solo traveller. Everywhere is spotless all the time. Washroom, shower room, and powder room are always clean and bright. It was so amazing to have a massage-like shower head to release muscle tension after a long trip then sleep tight. The cosy lounge and public library are in a good vibe for relaxing, with many Japanese comics there. Breakfast was delicious. No doubt, Grand Cabin Hotel will be my first choice to stay when next time come to visit Okinawa. Just a personal view~~

“Enjoy your travels, and for a cost-effective stay, this is the place.”

A cabin-type hotel that exceeds necessary and sufficient standards. The cabin is spacious, and the safe and cabin's shutter curtain have locks, which is a highlight. The shared toilets, which can be a concern, were equipped with the latest facilities and always maintained cleanliness. It felt like they cleaned regularly. The lounge has a surprisingly high-end feel for this type of hotel, which is also a positive point. There are USB ports in both the rooms and the lounge, which is good too. A comfortable relaxation space with unlimited coffee, awamori, and shikuwasa juice. Additionally, the breakfast tea-over-rice buffet was unexpectedly good. That healthy breakfast in the morning feels refreshing. For those who might feel it's insufficient, curry and other small side dishes are available. For around 3000 yen, this is amazing. It's definitely better than staying at a hotel near Kokusai Street. The Yui Rail is right in front, so access isn't an issue, and both convenience stores and supermarkets are within walking distance.

      “If it's just for staying.”

The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from the monorail station, two stations away from the airport, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, and fast food restaurants around. I was surprised that the room door was an accordion curtain, but the floors are separated for men and women. The security was tight when entering the accommodation building from the lobby. The room had the bare necessities and also included a safe. There was no refrigerator, but the lobby lounge offered 24-hour drink service, and you could do some work there too. The bed was large, and there were towels and loungewear provided. In the lobby, there were comic books and guidebooks, and a few books were available on the second floor as well. The shower room had a variety of body soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, so you could use your favorite. There was also a laundry facility, which I found very convenient. The staff were kind and helpful. It was comfortable for me, but for those who are sensitive to noises such as voices from neighbors, snoring, and sounds of other guests walking in the hallway, it might be a bit difficult to stay.
