I used it for a solo trip. The room was more than spacious enough for one person. There was plenty of room even when I spread my suitcase out on the floor. It takes about an hour and a half by public transport from the center of Seoul, so if your purpose is sightseeing within Seoul, you might feel that the travel time is a waste, but since I also wanted to visit Suwon, the location was just right for me. The staff at the front desk were very kind and it was great.
I was looking for a low cost place to stay the weekend closer to Seoul station, it was tops 30 mins away! Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, my language barrier did not deter his hospitality. The room was clean and spacious with all necessary amenities. Wifi, TV and all appliances were in good condition and the location had plenty to eat nearby as well as a bus stop right outside.
I used it for the second time! It's a bit far from the station, but since the bus stop is right in front, it's not a hassle if you take the bus. Transfers are necessary, but you can go to places like Seoul and Myeongdong! It says motel on the outside, and the building itself is old, which makes you a bit anxious, but it’s really clean from the elevator! When you go up to the 6th floor, a friendly older man greets you! Even though I made a reservation spontaneously on the day of my stay, they promptly confirmed it and welcomed me warmly! The room I was shown is quite clean as well! I thought the hot water took a bit long to come out, but there’s almost no mold, and for an inexpensive hotel, I found it to be very well cleaned! They provide a full set of amenities. There is shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There is one bath towel in the room, but if you need more, you can freely use what’s in the lobby without any issues. They also ask if you need a charger for iPhone or Android and lend you one. I would like to use it again! By the way, the older man only speaks Korean! Haha.
I stayed for a concert at the Incheon stadium. It took about 50 minutes to get to the venue. Since it was far from the nearest station, Cheolsan Station, I traveled back and forth by bus between the station and the hotel. I think you can take the bus without any issues by checking Neighbor Map (you can see which bus comes in how many minutes). When I used it after the concert, the bus was still operating around midnight. There is a Daiso and a convenience store near the hotel. There was one bath towel and four small towels prepared. The next day, I was able to request new towels at the front desk. It seemed like they were out in the open and you could just take them freely, haha. There was also bottled water available, so it seemed like you could take that as well. On the day I arrived, I received a stay set that included a toothbrush and various other items. They also asked if I needed slippers and provided them. Negative points: First, I didn't really understand how to watch TV. After turning it on, I wasn't sure what buttons to press to watch terrestrial TV, so I pressed randomly and finally managed to watch it. Also, the TV turns off automatically after some time. The operation of the air conditioner was also unclear. I turned on the power button on the unit itself. After that, I wasn't sure if I should operate it with the button on the wall or the remote, so I tried both but there was not much response... I ended up not understanding it until the end. Be careful as the airflow can be strong. Lastly, the bed was hard!!! I couldn't sleep!!! After the concert, I was exhausted and slept soundly, but on other days, I really struggled to sleep (partly due to my poor ability to fall asleep). The room was spacious and clean! Since I was staying alone, it was more than enough space. I thought the room lights were not bright enough or perhaps they were colored lights, so it wasn’t ideal for makeup; I did it at the sink. The toilet, shower, and sink are all in the same room. When I entered that room in the morning, there was a strong smell of tobacco, which I couldn't tell if it was from the next room or not (it lasted quite a while). The hot water from the sink wasn't very good. The woman at the front desk was nice! She asked me if I rested well when I was leaving. Honestly, the location is not great, so I think it would be inconvenient if you want to go to popular places in Seoul like Song-su. However, you can reach the express bus terminal directly from here! The exterior looks old, but it was clean from the elevator, so I think there's nothing to worry about!
Free Wi-Fi in all rooms!
“The water areas are really clean!”
Due to the solo trip, I was a bit worried about the safety and location of the city, but it turned out to be in a thriving area with a lot of vehicle and pedestrian traffic until nearly midnight. 😊 The buses run quite late, past midnight (I wonder if they run 24 hours?), so I had no trouble at all. From the bus stop right in front of the hotel, it takes a 10-minute bus ride to reach the nearest Cheolsan Station, where there were many people even late at night. I went out to eat with friends at 11 PM, and it was almost full, probably because it was the first day of a holiday. 😳 The bus stops around the hotel have signs in Korean and English, but you can easily navigate using Naver's location services. 🙆♀️ (Of course, it's no problem if you understand Hangul!) The hotel was just beautiful, and I felt like it had the cleanest bathroom facilities I’ve seen in any hotel so far. 🫢 (There was no limescale and not a single dirty spot.) The hotel staff were very kind; upon arrival, they guided me to my room and said "goodnight" with a big smile, being very friendly and cheerful. 🤣 You can get water and towels every day! There’s also an airport bus that can be reached with a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and it runs frequently from around 4 AM. 😊 I had a very comfortable 6 days. 😆 Thank you! 😌
