This hotel is within walking distance of the train station that can get you pretty much wherever you want to go if you are on a budget. Also a nice big mall with many eating places is right close by. Only drawback is the shower. If you are a big guy like I am it is hard getting in and out of the shower without burning yourself on the heated towel rack. I have lost weight but at 6'3" 270 I am still not little. I am not sure how some bigger folks can get in and out. They really need to be remodeled. Rest of room, etc. was great for the price.

It's located literally on the hill. Fine for budget travellers with light luggage or backpackers. Difficult walk for parties with small children or with heavy luggage. Walk takes ten minutes of walking at light speed, it takes fifteen minutes for a more leisurely walk. Twenty min train ride from Helsinki train station. Smelly toilet possibly due to the drains. Thanks to the quiet neighbourhood, I had some good sleep at the place. The complimentary breakfast will fill your stomach but it's not tasty.
Nice and big rooms, separate bedroom, livingroom, kitchen area as well as toilet and one bathroom. In addition also a Sauna. The quality of the room is very good. The breakfast is not very good, tasteless sausages, watered down (?) orange juice and not too great selection. However all in all, keeping the rooms in mind, at this price, it is a good deal.
